Cornbread Poetry

Rate this book
Collecting Patrick Attaway's poems from 2014 through 2016, Cornbread Poetry stands as an unassuming debut book for a cynical writer. Critiquing other poets, praising Bukowski, and exposing his vulnerabilities, Attaway doesn't mind if his words inspire or fall flat.

An impressive collection from a unique voice. All the poems are good, but the standouts are "My Baptism" and "Happier Melodies."

Attaway deserves a wider audience, and I hope he finds it.
