This seemed to take me forever to get through. Probably because I didn't care for either of the characters, and I didn't care what happened next. I considered DNFing it several times, and maybe I should have. But by the time I considered it, I'd put in a significant amount of time reading, so I figured I should just finish it.
Ultimately, it wasn't a very satisfying story for me. Sure, they ended up together, but by the time they did, I really didn't care anymore. They both seemed so immature, especially Grant. He's still stuck in the past when Kendra dumped him for the quarterback in high school. And she dumped him because the quarterback was better looking (Grant was apparently pretty nerdy at the time). But now, magically, since Grant is a multi-millionaire (billionaire? I can't remember), and has worked out and grown into his body and he's hot, Kendra's interested. Shallow much? And Grant is still hung up on her (for mostly shallow reasons himself), but because he can't get past high school, he punishes her over and over again. And she takes it! Sure, she gets mad at him for it sometimes, but ugh. When he took her to Atlantic City, that was just so freaking wrong. Afterward, when she used him -- just like he'd used her, btw -- he was pissed off. So he goes home to take up with another girl, just *days* after leaving Kendra. And he's apparently not worried about birth control or STDs, or maybe it's just not the author's thing to include such things, but I was just thinking *ick* when Kendra got back with him after that other girl. Seriously? He had his dick in another woman just DAYS ago, and you're cool with that?
Every time it looked like maybe things would work out, one or both of them sabotaged it. It's surprising they actually ended up together. Especially after that dinner that the old quarterback showed up, and Grant started thinking Kendra hadn't changed again. He had serious trust and jealousy issues and it got really old. I didn't like either of them. This story ended at the 21% mark on my Kindle. I didn't read any of the rest of the included stuff because I just wasn't interested after this story.

This is a very fast book. If you happen to blink you might miss something the sex was hot the drama is plenty. The blurb is actually and honestly what caught me the book itself was it hot as I thought it could be the flu was fun and the anger was plentiful.

I give Man Candy 5 stars for making me laugh, cry, get peeved off, and for making me smile. I went through so many emotions as these two tried to reunite. He was given many chances and he just couldn't see past his wanting to punish her for something that happened in their youth that he wasn't taking them. I wanted to shake him for how he behaved, then I wanted to shake her for accepting his behaviour. It was a veritable roller coaster ride.
Tia Siren has another hot, sizzling, and provocative masterpiece on her hands. Man Candy has so many meanings in this story. The sex scenes are awesome, the characters ooze sexiness and just draw you in.
Kendra didn’t have much choice, she needed her job so she either accepts this new position or has to find another job. Grant figured he would push her to her limit and get revenge for breaking his heart in high school when she left him for the star quarterback. He orders her around, he's mean, and he thinks only of himself. Can he learn to forgive?

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Kendra and Grant. They are old high school sweethearts. Most people would be thinking aaaww but this ins't the case. In high school Kendra dumped Grant to date the more popular and better looking school quarterback, and there is a part of him that has never gotten over that. This is now years later and Grant decides partly for revenge partly for the fact that she is the most qualified to ask Kendra to manage his adult candy store. Kendra is looking for a raise and agrees. The problem with these two is though they both care for one another they can't seem to get on the same page. Will they get a second chance or will they burn that bridge so many times it is now no more than ashes?
This story begs the question can you really forgive your first love if you were truly hurt or are you always going to want them to prove themselves to you? There are many twists in this story that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This story has so many parts that I want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin it for other readers. I will say I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

This story is sexy as hell! But I am conflicted with the whole ex boyfriend from high school, please just move on already. Anyways, it is still a fun, naughty and sexy book!
Kendra works in a candy shop store own by Grant, a ex boyfriend of hers of the time when she was in high school. The problem, she dump him for the quarterback. Now he enjoys in making her feel distress or making fun of her. (Inmature for some one with the kind of success that he haves.)
Grant is the owner of candy shops and now he is opening a new kind of stores, candy sex shops. Yup everything in this sex shop is made of candy, fun right. Well to keep poking at Kendra for the way she dump him back in high school, he offer her the position of manager in his new store, believing this will make Kendra uncomfortable.
Kendra accepts the new position and is good in it. But what she is not good is in the games that Grant is playing. She have feeling for him, but she believes that she is just another woman for him. But she have to try to make him trust her.
Grant does not trust Kendra and he is trying to punish her, but he is still in love with her. Would he take it to far in his pursue of "revenge/redemption"?

A steamy hot read about a billionaire, Grant, and the woman who dumped him in H.S., Kendra. Kendra works for him now and every chance he gets he is mean and degrading to her because of what happened years ago. But the reason he does that is because he still likes her a lot and tries to exert his control over her every chance he gets. Problem is he is still very insecure with her and ends up hurting her more than anything and Kendra actually allows him to do it. When a weekend away gets out of control, she leaves and he doesn't bother contacting her for a while. When he sees her with another man he embarrasses her in front of him and then tells her that he is letting her go for good. Will he come back? Will she forgive him?
A great hot read with many steamy scenes and I enjoyed the plot, nerd teenage boy gets revenge on the girl who dumped him and he finally realizes that what he was doing was not good. The only thing I didn't like is what happened after the weekend and he went to Lorna and that Kendra didn't stick up for herself more, I would have made him grovel more.....otherwise a great read.

As always Tia Siren has published a well written story, that caught me from the first chapter. Two lost souls that were high school sweethearts and now meet each other again. Kendra was the one to break Grants heart when leaving him for another boy in high school. Grant and Kendra needs to get rid of the past before they can truly live in the future and get on with their lives.
Grant want his revenge toward Kendra but realises that he is still in love with her. Will this all destroy everything between them? No spoiler from me :)
This book has it all: revenge, jealousy, twists and turns, sizzling chemistry, super hot steamy scenes, and ultimately, love... everything I love in a second chance romance story. But at times there is a bit to much filling. Grant is at time more a schoolboy than and adult and Kendra has no self confidence. There is a lot of cruel moments and bad behavior from both sides. I hate cheaters. These things irritates me a bit but it does luckily not destroy the story and my time reading it. The supporting characters have an amazing role in the story and gives it an edge.

This book was the most fun I had reading in a long time! It had me laughing, feeling the heartbreak and turned up. The sexual tension between Grant and Kendra jumps off the page making me giggle with glee. He believes, and rightly so, that he has the upper hand. He is her boss, after all. But really, smut goddesses, we all know who has the real power in an adult relationship. Yes, the goddesses, of course. Grant believes that he is offering his own brand of payback to Kendra for dumping his scrawny high school self. Now here he is the proprietor of his own NYC chocolate empire, a man of unbelievable wealth, venturing on a new sexy venture, solving Kendra's financial woos and having passed from scrawny teen to gorgeous beefcake. He is primed to take over the adult novelty candy market by opening Luscious and making Kendra his manager, head minion and product tester. Next time I need a good, rousing romp with my kindle, this will be the one I reread. I requested this ARC so I could post an honest review.

Wow, Grant and Kendra..what can I say. They seem to be the most explosive, Bossy, sexy, demanding couple I have ever read about but deep down they have such a strong love you can almost feel it. Grant has never gotten over Kendra dumping him at high school but he still loves her. Truth is, she still loves him but we all do daft things when we are younger. The main thing is can he ever truly forgive Kendra and move on. That was the root of the problem I think. The way he treated her at times, I wanted to slap him myself but Kendra was just as bad as let him get away with it. Probably because she is besotted with him. I think they deserve one another in a good way. Every time they seem to work things out wham!!! something happens. A crazy, sexy story that at times they make your head whizz but you still want more. Would love to have heard a bit more about Jack and he needed a kick up the pants too, poor Sally . All in all a good read and loved it. Now where's the chocolate !!!!!!!

I only made it to 50% of the book and I just couldn't continue. I never DNF a book, I push through, sometimes I set aside for a bit of time to wrap my head around what I am reading but I do come back to it. I am not sure I will be able to do that with this one.
First off, right from the beginning I was not liking Grant at all. He is a pushy jerk that wants to be alpha but just comes off degrading Kendra at every turn. The things that he thinks and then what he does are complete opposite. Talks down to her, treats her horribly, demanding things, but the worst for me is that she puts up with these nasty things. I have read some very dark reads, where that alpha has more respect that what Grant has for Kendra. My breaking point was the reasoning for taking her to Atlantic City. I can't imagine any woman putting up with that.
I may go back to it at some point to finish, but today, at this moment...nope. Not happening.

I first want to say that this book should've been marketed as a Dark romance not a second chance romance.
I love this author's books, but I really had to collect my thoughts for this review. I'm not sure what vision the author had for this book, she really poured her heart out though.I feel the ratings of the book are too harsh. It took a lot of courage for the author to write a subject that isn't a sweet sugary romance and, she did it very well! Deep breath!
This was a very emotional, eye opening, heart pounding Dark romance! I loved the concept of the storyline it was unique and sexy. I didn't care for Grant or Kendra's character. I can't for the life of me understand an abusive relationship like they had. It certainly opened up my protective senses. I wanted to be in Kendra's corner and shake some sense into her. As for Grant he was a immature Bully! I did like the secondary characters and how they supported each other. Don't let the low ratings get you down Tia! Keep the stories coming, can't wait for your next book.❤️

Both Grant's best friend Jack Cooper , thinks , he is crazy , and to have Kendra management of the new store . Kendra's best friend Liz Campbell , thinks Grant is an a** and she is crazy working for him. Will Grant make Kendra ,his own personal candy store. Will Kendra get her own Mancandy. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. OMG! What a gripping story. Grant and Kendra maybe boss and employee when it comes to the candy story he owns and the new one specializing in adult confections but they are so much more than that. Kendra and Grant were once high school sweethearts and Grant has never gotten over the heartache when Kendra broke it off with him. He was in love with her back then as much as he is still in love with her now. He can't seem to get past that and decides the only way he can deal with her is by dominance. Kendra seems to be okay with the way he treats her for awhile. Soon she does grow tired of it and decides she is through with him. I enjoyed the way these two seem to both go back and forth with there love/hate type of relationship. This was a beautifully written story of two people who deep down truly loved each other. I love how they were able to completely open up to one another and find their HEA.

This is a great second chance love story between an ex high school couple, Kendra and Grant. They have past issues that keep coming up in their current relationship. Grant has become a very successful man working with chocolates and now elible sex toy chocolates, yummy! With the opening of his new store he offers the manager job to Kendra. Grant treats Kendra rather meanly and down right bullying her. He has his reasons and at times I wanted to slap him myself. Kendra realizes what's going on but does Grant take it too far in his torture that she finally walks away? They try to create a new relationship but trust and jealousy causes some problems for them. Kendra needs to believe in herself and either walk away from Grant or give him another chance. Can they work through their problems and believe in one another for their chance at Love? I would have loved to have given this book a higher review. And the only reason it is even getting a 4 star review is because the writing by the author is really good. With that being said, I really didn't like Grant. I normally love books by this author but this man just made me angry and annoyed. He is very childish and can't seem to get over someone breaking up with him in high school! I mean come on, it was high school for cripes sake! And then to the way he would get mad and treat her? Yeah, no. Just no. And the inherent cheating! I don't like cheating in any way, shape, or form. I started off liking Kendra and had high hopes for her. But she just takes whatever he dishes out and I just don't like that kind of thing at all. With all that being said though, I'm sure a lot of people will love this book. It is written very well, it just isn't something that I personally loved! It definitely had potential, but for me it just didn't get there.

4.5 stars Excellent contemporary billionaire second (+) chance romance. Kendra finds herself working for her high school boyfriend, that she dropped. Even though it's been over a decade Grant is always on the lookout for a way to hurt Kendra. One of two instances were more than enough. High school is a time to make mistakes and learn from them. Some of the things (punishments) he used to harm her both emotionally and mentally later on in the story he even caused physical pain. It's unrealistic to repeatedly hurt someone you claim to love. Kendra was a good manager for his company but a few things he did were totally unacceptable. Kendra was hurt by Grants attitude and actions. Some of the story was a little more juvenile than I expect from the caliber author Ms Siren is. I found the make ups to be out of this world delicious. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

I usually love Tia Sirens books, but this one just didn't do it for me. This book is a nice size book and I liked that, but I did not enjoy the main characters. Grant is all butt hurt from being dumped back in high school by Kendra. Kendra is now working for him as a manager in one of his stores. So he treats her like crap and she just takes it. Kendra has no self-esteem at all and just lets him get away with this. Grant feels he has the right to treat her like dirt. He gets off on it, and she likes it. I have read some stories where there is BDSM and such but the woman is usually respected, there is no respect in this story. That I did not like. If there is no respect even shown in a relationship then there can be no love. So for this story, I did not enjoy the two characters.

First let me say that I love Tia Siren's books. While this one wasn't a fav, it was still very good. In this story she really made the relationship between the two main characters feel like any other relationship would. The constant push and pull, the want to please, the distrust and the games. Things we all go through when dating. By putting the characters through that it made the story feel so real. Good read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I have loved every book I've read by this author! This one was not one of my favorites though. The writing was really good, as was the premise for the story. I just couldn't connect with the characters. Overall, I give it 3.5 stars and am rounding up. Grant could not move on from the past and came across as immature. He was cruel to Kendra too. As I said before, I love this author's work and will be reading her next book. Just because I didn't connect with the characters doesn't mean someone else won't either. If you like second chance love or nerd to alpha transformations that get the girl, you might want to try this out.

After moving to New York, Kendra unknowingly got a job working for the boyfriend she dumped in high school. Grant had his heartbroken by Kendra and is now determined to make her pay for it. The attraction is still there, but can Grant overcome the past to trust her again? Will Kendra forgive Grant for the things he puts her through in the name of revenge?
I have to admit fully that while this book was hot, I didn't necessarily like Grant. Time and time again he acted immature and expected her to do things a certain way while doing whatever he liked. I do like the fact that Kendra finally snapped and stood up to him and made him realize what all he was doing. Definitely a hot read, but not one for monogamy lovers even though I was happy to see Grant change!

I gave this book (only the title piece; have not read the added stories) two stars because I really did not care for the main characters (Grant and Kendra). Grant was a manipulative S.O.B. and was actually quite cruel to Kendra at times. I felt like, for a good majority of the story, Kendra had no backbone; even when Grant was being an absolute asshole (pardon the language), she still 'loved' him and would not stand up to him. Given just how much of a jerk he was to her from the moment she first started working for him, WHY did she stay under his employment?! If she was really the 'best' manager he had, surely she could have found a job with someone who actually respected her?! Ugh. Sorry, rant over.

I laughed, felt frustrated, and even turned on.
Grant had problems letting go of the past. I get it really I do but come on. He made a name for himself and did very well in life. Kendra was fickle in her high school as most girls and guys are so she made some bad choices.
Life comes to a full circle and these two have to deal with each other and some of the things Grant makes Kendra do are insane yet funny. The story took on a life of its own and I really enjoyed it.
I can honestly say I would read more by this author and invite everyone to read this. I swear it may have some rather risky scenes but there humor keeps it in balance. Funny and hot. A great read all around.

Grant is getting his revenge on something that happened years ago she dumped him for a football player and now the geek has turned himself into a sexy hot millionaire who sells candy and is now opening a candy store called lucious that sells sexual candy. The thing is even though I loved this book things started to go down every time I thought they were gonna be getting. Back together grant did something to screw it up.. he was insecure but loved to humiliate Kendra in a lot of ways from trying to make her jealous to embarrassing he.. felt like the book had too much drama in the end I did love it though so I do contradict myself

I just couldn't stand Grant. He was so off-putting and beyond selfish. He constantly held Kendra to such double standards all in the name of revenge; So many things that he did to humiliate her should have been unforgivable, yet Kendra always managesd to forgive him. It was just really hard to stomach the intense aversion I had to the once-wronged nerd now turned rich boy. I gave this four stars because although I didn't care for the couple I did enjoy most of the storyline. The "store" was my fave detail of the story and there were other characters that interacted individually with the couple that I really enjoyed reading about. I would love for Sally and Jack to get their own story!

Kendra and Grant scorch the pages as they navigate the bumpy ride of second chance romance while traversing the hurts from their high school days. I loved how Tia made these two fight for what they eventually found. I loved the heat between these two and found some points funny while others I groaned (and not in a good way!) at the way these two dealt with each other!

This book is great. Just what I needed. She passed over him in high school for someone else and one of the reasons was cause he was a nerd. Now here they are grown ups and now she needs help and he is yummy in all ways and running an adult candy store of all things. These two want each other and the fun begins. This is funny, hot and steamy, exciting, frustrating and so much more. I highly recommend it. I couldn't put it down. It was so enjoyable. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

This book contains two of the best things there is- sex and chocolate. Basically this is a second-chance love story with a lot of sex thrown in. At times I laughed and other times I sighed. Quite a few times I thought "WTF Grant?! Grow up and let the past go!" or "Kendra, please, just slap him already!". Both the main characters had a lot of insecurities and trust issues that they had to work through to get a HEA.
