It's been almost a year since Alex Parker left the CIA. Though the agency had repeatedly tried to get her to come back for various missions in that time, she always had the same answer. She wasn't coming back. In her mind, there was only one thing that would ever get her to go back into the field as an agent again. And that was if someone she cared about was in grave danger. Unfortunately for Parker, her worst fears have come true.
Jim Cole is missing. While on a mission in Colombia, Cole is supposed to be gathering intel on Santiago Barrios, a leader of a drug cartel, who has been expanding his business to include illegal arms dealing in Asia. Once Cole goes missing for several days, he's assumed to be dead or held hostage. And there's one person they know will find him. Alex Parker.

Good flow throughout the series i highly recommend this author
I was skeptical at first but this author knows how to write and keep the flow of the story and especially the characters going throughout the series i was hooked about 20pages into the first book and knew i would be reading all of the series I will be reading every book thus author writes as enjoy his writing style
Another CIA can do it all and conquer evil throughout the world tale. Too stilted and verbose for my preference but interesting enough to read to kill time. Too much like Emma Peel and boy toy or whatever the Avengers were.
Parker & Turner have left the CIA and are living a regular life when Cole goes missing on assigment in Columbia. Good story likeable characters & fun enjoyable.
Mike Ryan does it again great series! Kept me look I g for the next as soon as I finished. Great suspense and humor as t the same time. When is the next one coming?
Good plot. Too much baloney regarding Alex's emotion and the idiotic Turner and his remarks. Therefore I think that I am through with Ryan and the Ghosts.
The plot was good with a few holes. The need to include a non-operative on the missions simply because he's the main characters boyfriend is getting old though.
