Title: Cocky Love: Emma Cocker Series: Cocker Brothers of Atlanta #11 Author: Faleena Hopkins
➦If you kept up with this series you have read & met all 6 brothers, but each & every one of them has their own unique personality.. Now we are going to meet the next generations… we can only imagine what Faleena Hopkins will do next with this series. This is book 11 of the Cocker series but book 4 of the Cocker Brother's offspring. Each one is a standalone but so much better if you begin with book one of the series & read them in order. I know that ive enjoy the journey
➦Emma Cocker – is Jake & Drew only daughter of course you know how famous they are for giving attitude & how female have that sassiness about them. No exceptions on Emma part
➦Emma is a realtor working for Cora, Aunt Rachel best friend & the person who recommended Emma for this job. So Emma feels she had to take Cora constant belittling of her.
➦Cora is a hateful woman that is miserable- Rumor has it that Cora briefly dated Jaxson when they were in their twenties. But Rachel & Jaxson fell in love when they were eight, & much later in life found each other again. So surprised that Cora offer her one of her very rich clients. She happily took the new clients without & reservations, Lil did she know the trouble she would take on
➦If Emma can sell this moody, arrogant, old fashion. Sexy man one of the mansion on her list she’d split the commission, hopefully fifty-fifty though & payoff all her debts she’ll be set for while- but at what cost?
➦Tanner is a billionaire with agenda only he knows... he's a Playboy that likes older women.
➦Tanner was surprised when Cora sent somebody in her place to show him one of the several mansions that he was scheduled to see. Not only was she late but she look like she was still wet behind the ears & he made sure that he told her so.. Did I mention that Tanner cold hearted baster?
➦After working several weeks with Emma Tanner started to have feelings for her but held back due to the fact that she was so young. And lord he did not know that she was Jake Cocker's daughter. Jake & Tanner bumpy pass
What will happen when Tanner & Jake cross paths after all these year? What will Jake do to Tanner once he realize Tanner is interest in his only daughter?
➦We have the usual fun loving pretty over-protected male drama- with a touch of sexy, compassionate, dedicated, playful, protective.. And we can’t forget loyal to a fault that comes with this family, we also are able to catching up with some of the other Cocker clan.
➦This was very cute love story between younger women / older man. .in the end we see another side of Tanner that most hadn’t expected. A very heartfelt promise fulfilled & so much more- but after all that I didn’t find Faleena Hopkins famous humor until almost the end of the book.. Sad to say due to this fact I rated this book slightly lower then I usual do for Faleena Hopkins books – but just cuz I didn’t feel Faleena Hopkins famous humor doesn’t mean this isn’t excellent read A good an solid addition to the series but not as good as the rest of them
➦Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion
➦**"I voluntarily reviewed this ARC" ..** .**In exchange for an honest review.**
Should be read in order
1:-Cocky Roomie- Jake 2:- Cocky Biker- Jett 3:- Cocky Cowboy – Jaxson 4:- Cocky Romantic- Jason 5:- Cocky Senator –Justin 6:- Cocky Soldier -Jeremy 7:- A Honey Badger X-mas 8:- Cocky Senator’s Daughter: Hannah 9:- Cocky Genius: Ethan 10: Cocky Rockstar: Gabriel 11➦ Daughter: Emma 💕
➦I recommend the entire series Each book can be read as a Standalone.. But honestly I have no clue why you’d do that. There might be 6 brothers, but each & every one of them has their own unique personality.. You will realize as you meet each one of them in their books…
➦ Faleena Hopkins- I was incredibly honored & thrilled to receive a very early copy of her new Daughter: Emma 💕 -Thank you: Faleena Hopkins I really appreciate the opportunity....
When: your brand is cocks, and males with Cocky attitudes... then you trade mark "Cocky" and develop a bad attitude yourself; you KNOW you just fucked your career... I hope you got a pen name and a backup idea, because Cocky just fucked you royally.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Cocky Love: Emma Cocker by Faleena Hopkins.
Once again, fan-freaking-tabulous!! Of course, all of Faleena's books are. What is it about the Cocker family that I just love so much? They are so amazing! Funny, loving, loyal to a fault, sexy, compassionate, dedicated, playful, protective, honest, faithful and dependable in a crisis. They are all written so perfectly. Very well detailed, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable. This is book 11 of the Cocker series but book 4 of the Cocker Brother's offspring. Each one is a standalone but so much better if you begin with book one of the series and read them in order. Wishing you very happy reading!!
Emma is a realtor for Cora, a hateful woman that is miserable and wants every one to be miserable with her, especially Emma. Thinking to "punish" Emma, Cora, gives her an extremely difficult client to help house hunt. Tanner is looking to buy a house in Atlanta and had set up an appointment with Cora, so when Emma shows up instead he was quite surprised but not completely unhappy. He finds himself very attracted to Emma but is hesitant to pursue anything with her because she is quite a bit younger than he is. Emma is attracted to Tanner as well but finds him to be arrogant, condescending and rude. As they spend time together looking for just the right house for Tanner the attraction builds and feelings begin to grow. But there is a major drawback. Tanner has a tumultuous history with Emma's father Jake. Could this keep Tanner and Emma apart?
Emma and Tanner add a brand new chapter to the Crocker saga and boy howdy is it a goody! Emma has been dealing with a lot. From her overprotective family stunting every possible chance at sex and romance that comes her way to her horror show of a boss that basically treats her like a glorified moron. She just wants a chance to grow and find whats out there for her. When she gets what she thinks is her shot to finally show her boss she knows her stuff, shes met with what can only be described as the most conceded and rude person she has ever had the displeasure to meet. Too bad he is also like crazy hot too! Now in order to order to prove to her boss, herself, and most importantly him that she is capable she will sell him a house if it kills her. Another wrinkle apparently Tanned has some history with her father and hes persona non grata with the Cockers! Whats a girl to do? Tanner doesn't back from challenges, part of the problem with Jake, and he he wont be run off from the beautiful Emma. He knows he should leave her be - hes 15 years her senior, a commitmentphobe, and knows her family will hate it. But for some reason this woman proves to amazing to walk away from. Love is a long and arduous road and not to be traveled lightly, but for those willing to put in the effort its one the rewards are amazingly rare!
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
Another amazing contemporary "Cocker Family" romance. Emma Cocker had been working hard at a local Atlanta real estate office. Her boss is always nasty yet gives her a potential high commission sale. Tanner has worked his way up from nothing to become a wealthy man. Emma is in her late 20's where Tanner is 10-15 years older. They work together to find a house for him to purchase. Suddenly her family is warning her to stay clear of him. Turns out Emma's dad and Tanner got into a fist fight almost a decade ago which causes tension and problems with how Emma feels about Tanner. The Cocker Family is huge and Tanner doesn't quite get the barrier that's going to come between him and what he'd like to do with Emma. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I love each one of the member of the Cocker's story books. They get better and better. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Hopkins.
I am not a naive little girl and I will prove it to him! In this story, from the Cocker Family series, Emma may look young but she definitely isn't innocent. Tanner may be "experienced" but nothing prepared him for Emma. Add a dash of drama from years ago and you have an explosive situation that just may leave broken hearts after the dust settles. Emma loves her work and her family. Tanner loves his work but is it enough? Family is important but can be stifling. With strong Alpha males for grandparents, parents and brothers how can a girl grow up? If they only knew how naughty Emma is they would surely lock her in her room. But she is not that little girl anymore. Tanner is dropped in her lap because her horror of a boss doesn't want to deal with him. He is arrogant, demanding, controlling and oh so gorgeous. Why is she having this reaction to him? It is all so frustrating and confusing. On top of all that he thinks she is too young! Emma makes it her mission to prove just how grown up she is and she does it in a way that has Tanner confused. He has never met a woman like Emma and he doesn't know what to do or what she is doing to him. I loved this story for a number of reasons but mostly because it made me feel good when I was done. Along the way I got mad, sad, confused, intrigued ... Ms. Hopkins has a way of writing that gets under your skin, making you care about the characters. I am thankful that I am part of Faleena's Pack and love when I learn there is another book coming! I received this as an ARC and have already read it twice. That is one of the joys of Ms. Hopkins books, each time you read them you see something you missed the first time. Knowing the ending doesn't distract from the story, you get so involved in the story that it all feels new each time you read it.
"His name is Tanner Hamilton, and after this, he won't know what hit him."
Emma Cocker is the apple of her father, Jake's eye - his Baby Love. She's been protected to the point of frustration but, nonetheless, has grown into a stubborn, smart and strong-willed woman. What she wants most is to find The One. She wants to feel that all-consuming love for someone. When she meets the arrogant, aloof, somewhat older, Tanner Hamilton, she can't decide if she wants to slap him or kiss him.
"I want to get to know her better, because she's all I can think about and it's driving me insane. I think I could spend days, maybe years listening to her, laughing with her, looking into those eyes and drowning out the world."
Tanner Hamilton has only ever been focused on his business. A workaholic who's only interested in casual flings with older women. Emma takes him by surprise and he's not sure if he likes it or not, especially when he realises who she's related to. Her connection makes her forbidden fruit, but he can't keep away from her.
"You're like breathing to me. I didn't realize my chest was tight until you walked out here and I inhaled."
LOVED Emma's story! She and Tanner were fiery and passionate. I loved their strength and their courage to be together in the face of her father's disapproval, even though it broke her heart. I loved how much light and levity Emma brought into Tanner's life. The two of them had great banter, peppered with sexual innuendo, and for someone who seemed a little bit remote to begin with, Tanner had ALL THE WORDS! Fab read!
This tantalizing story lures you into the lives of Emma and Tanner with flirtatious innuendoes, clever banter, family drama, a bit of action, fun family times, emotional ups and downs, picturesque and powerful vivid scene descriptions, toe curling mouth watering sensuous romance wows you and after all the drama dissipates there is a superb happy ever after that leaves you content and wanting more.
Emma lives up to her family background with her beauty and sassy attitude; as a real estate agent, her intelligence shines. Tanner a billionaire, and a client of Emma's has women begging for his attention with his charismatic/demanding persona and stunning looks. Emma wants a passionate man who will challenge her. Tanner who has never committed to a woman finds himself slowly falling down the rabbit hole when he encounters the whiskey-eyed beauty Emma who touches his soul.
Absolutely loved this captivating story you can't help but keep turning pages until the conclusion. The author does a fabulous job with Emma and Tanner as their fiery romance builds; they are wonderful together. I so adore the humor, protectiveness, and the family love. Emma beams in this story and she stands up for what she believes in. You can't help but fall in love with Tanner and learn to respect him too. If you treasure romance this is a fabulous book for your library. I found this to be a most entertaining read and I loved it so much, {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this book.
Jake’s little Baby Love is all grown up! A 5***** plus read. Emma is working for a prominent real estate company in Atlanta and finally gets her chance to shine when her boss asks her to fill in and show a house to a wealthy client, Tanner Hamilton. Tanner can’t believe he was sent this young naive underling to show him the house. Prejudging, he makes it clear what he thinks of her. Emma is a professional, not the incompetent child Tanner thinks she is. This guy is handsome (for a guy in his early 40’s) but such an asshole! Emma is determined to show him and her family she is a grown woman that knows what she wants and can make the sale. Tanner has never had an interest in long term relationships, but is intrigued by this spunky brown eyed woman. Emma is looking for someone with a back bone that will challenge her and not be intimidated by her alpha male family. One week, four days and 22 houses later, their flirtations and bantering start to heat things up. That is until Tanner finds out that Emma’s Dad is Jake Cocker. Jake and Tanner had an altercation years ago that make things complicated. Will Tanner follow through on his interest in Emma, or will it be too much of a challenge to go against her family. This is a great addition to the Cocker family story with appearances from other members of the family. It will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love with the Cocker family all over again. As always, these books can be read standalone, but if you read the others first it will give you a good back ground for Emma’s story.
I absolutely love this family series ! Emma has certainly showed us that yes she is a Cocker ! Emma Cocker is quite a little surprise. On the outside she is sugar and spice and everything oh so nice. She is always proving herself as an adult to her extremely large and overprotective family. Taking a job as a real estate agent was something that she loves. Leaning the about all she can about the homes that she shows has become her specialty. The moment that she meets Tanner Hamilton to show him a home she is overwhelmed with the instant attraction that she feels but she is professional and hides it oh so well. Tanner is a brooding, suave, experienced man that has closed himself off in the romance department . He knows that this beautiful sight in front of him is much younger than the women that he sees but he can't keep her from invading his thoughts! Yes he has woman to warm his bed but that is the end they know the deal. Don't get attached. The instant he lays eyes on the sassy Miss Emma he knows that this feeling that he has is something oh so different than he has ever experienced before. I love the witty banter, sexual tension, flirtatious conversations and the respect that they hold for each other. Let us know add in family drama, a past history of tension with Emma's father and a bitch of a boss and let the games begin!!!! Loved it !! ~~Michele McMullen ~~
I received an ARC for my honest opinion, but I also purchased a copy.
I loved this book. Emma has always gone with the flow and listened to what others have told her to do, but now she knows what she wants and won't take no for an answer. She works hard at her job and goes above what is expected of her. She loves helping people buy the perfect home and now she is tasked with finding the perfect home for Tanner.
Tanner doesn't do relationships and he doesn't do younger women. He is married to his company and is happy with his life. Emma challenges him and his perception of her. She won't let him treat her like a little girl and she surprises him with her tenacity and dedication to finding the perfect house for his needs.
The surprise of a past meeting between Tanner and one of her family members causes conflict for everyone involved. Misconceptions have soured over the years and now it effects Emma. She needs to get the truth or lose what might be the most important person in her life.
Such a great story with wonderful characters. The brothers are in this one more and the cousins are holding their connections strong. Hannah is in here a lot with advice and love for Emma.
Emma Cocker is known in the family as the quitter one but boy is that wrong. She is a strong woman that wants to stand on her own two feet and be seen for what she can be and who she is. After being “gifted” this real estate showing she decides this could be her big break. When she shows up to meet Mr. Tanner Hamilton, 15 years her senior, things get a little feisty from there, especially when he chooses to call her a child. Chemistry starts to flow, words are slung, but the moment he learns her last name and drama is not too far behind. So toss in some old Cocker Family bad blood and it is like lighting a wildfire that cannot be extinguished.
But when love is on the horizon two people have to make choice that will either make or break them. Emma and Tanner need to decide what they are to each other and if this fight is worth fighting for?
Faleena Hopkins has given us a Cocker Family Series that is unlike anything I have ever read. You laugh, cry, cheer and fall in love with all the characters. You also get to visit everyone over and over again in the books! Her writing is on spot and the romance scenes are steamy!!! Thanks for another amazing 5-star book!

I have read and loved every book in this series, the Cocker family has its problems and sibling fights, and everything a real family has, which is why we relate. Emma Cocker, only daughter of Jake Cocker, is about to test her family. She has fallen in love with Tanner, a self proclaimed loner and hard ass who built his fortune himself. Not only is he about fifteen years her senior but has a long standing feud with her father. Tanner tried to push her away not wanting to cause her family any problems, but Emma wanted him, knowing he still wanted her.Emma broke down all his defences, changing his life, while he built her up. I could not put this book down, the struggles of family, the love of a father, and how Emma changed Tanner. The end of the book was outstanding. It was a HEA with a punch. I absolutely recommend reading this book, along with starting from the first book in the series. Congratulations Faleena Hopkins, amazing series that has never let me down, and keeps the anticipation going for the next book in the series.
I voluntarily received an ARC for an honest review. Like most strong women, when they are told they can't do something, they want to prove they can. Emma is attracted to Tanner when they first meet. Until he opens his mouth. When he tells her she is too young and inexperienced to waste his time, she proves him wrong. Over and over. Tanner barely knows what hit him. Until he learns her last name. Loved this story. I love how strong and protective the Cocker Family is. I also love how Faleena manages to throw things into the timeline so you can see why people are missing from certain events in other stories. That must be difficult to do, but she does it seamlessly. I love following this family's adventures as they grow up. Emma's story is a great one. Lots of good advice and support from her family. Funny how you can love a family so much that isn't even real!!
Cocky Love gives us Emma's story, and it did not disappoint! Emma is the daughter of Jake (Cocky Roommate) and has lived her life under the protection of her father and two brothers. This was a story that forced her to stand up to her family that she loves so much in order to have the love she has been wanting for so long. I loved that we got to see her find her own way and go toe-to-toe with successful, alpha Tanner. Tanner's change is also refreshing to see - a long-time workaholic who loves his small family, but never wanted or desired for love in his own life. The crash of Emma and Tanner and how they challenge each other really pushes this story forward (and adds to the sexual tension between them!). Another fantastic book in the Cocker series from Faleena Hopkins! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.
I liked Emma's story but found myself taking reading breaks. If you're dedicated to the Cocker family like I am, you will know that reading breaks NEVER happen (at least not voluntarily).
Emma was exactly how I expected her to be – confident and professional publically but a touch of bad girl in private. Tanner was her perfect match. He was older, more experienced, and supportive. I loved that they were both stubborn and focused on their careers.
I feel like pieces of the puzzle were missing when it came to Tanner. What caused him to want to be a lifelong bachelor? What exactly was said to cause the confrontation?
Overall, I enjoyed watching Emma get her HEA. I loved catching up with the Cocker family and can't wait for the next book in the series.
This book was amazing. i didnt think it could get any better then the last one, but youo have outdone your self again faleena. Every book always gets better then the next. I dont like putting spoilers in my reveiws so i will try not to give much away. i love how this love story plays out. I love the way that fate is shown in this book. Emma would have never met her true love if fate would not have stepped in and put the two of them together. love how they show how hard it is to have to make shoices that are so hard you just dont know what to do, but if you follow your heart you will always win. Great job with this one, m favorite so far, cant wait to see which Cocker falls next.
Once again Faleena Hopkins gives us an amazing story of strength and wanting to find her own path. Emma was an adult after all. Granted Tanner I wanted to smack in the first 10 pages but he grow on my and ended up with a huge heart. Thanks for another good story #cockerstockers here we come.
4/5/18 audiobook review Omg I just finished listening to Emma’s on audible. It was perfect! I’m the first one that wants to smack the smirk off Tannner’s face. By the time the story ends you love the hell out of him. And Corra (sp) should be ashamed of herself. Just say. Faleena Hopkins thank you for another wonderful story Kaylie Stewart and Eric Rolon read this book.
I just LOVE the Cocker series. And I just LOVE Emma and Tanner! Their story sizzles from the first moment they see each other. After fighting their attraction AND almost the entire Cocker clan (except Grams, of course), they finally get their time together. This is my favorite book in the series, although I think I say that after reading each one! NEVER a cliffhanger, but Faleena leaves her reader wanting more books about this fantastic family!!! I am voluntarily reviewing the ARC I received and couldn't put down.
I got to say Faleena you did not disappoint! This book was great. As is the whole series. I loved Emma's story. I always wondered what happened with her and Andy. I was glad that was cleared up in this story. I sorta feel bad for him. Tanner and Emma have great balance and chemistry. I loved their story. It made me smile. There were some definite oh shit moments that made it so exciting. I'm glad to see that Eric is next, that cocky little Cocker. I hope he gets bulldozed by love. Hee hee. 😜 Thank and out for another great book. #happyreader
If I could rate this book higher I would. One of my favorites in the "Cocky" series. Emma, strong intelligent, beautiful, knows what she wants. Tanner, successful, selfmade, handsome, thinks he knows whats best. Throw in an age difference, old grudges and the rest of the "Cocky" clan, what could possibly go wrong? Another great read by Faleena. I have enjoyed every book in this series I have read. Highly recommend. I recieved this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
I was gifted with an advance reader copy for an honest review. What's not to love about this family? Even in anger and frustration, they still pull at your heartstrings and make you want to go join a family BBQ. Emma's story was perfect! Nothing to say but fall into a good book and fall in love with a large, closeknit family. I love that Falenna has created this amazing family and didn't just end the story with the boys. Keep them coming. I love reading, and rereading, this family's story!!!
I swear this woman KNOWS how to write a book. She amazes me with every book she publishes. The next is always better than before. I will say this book did surprise me. It went in a totally different direction than the Emma we met in Hannah's book. This book just released and I'm already excited about the books to come. I can never seem to get enough of Faleena Hopkins.
Amazing read! Emma Cocker is all grown up. Now she just has to prove it . To the cocky jerk or is he really ?? And to the boss from hell . Not to mention her family starting with the dad. There are so many twist and turns it's great to intertwine with the rest of the family. Makes for a great book. It also address adoption which I love. Of course there is hot steamy sexy chemistry. Phenomenal! I highly recommend this book and the series!!
This was another great book from Faleena Hopkins. The Cocker Brothers series has been one of the best series I've read. The characters are all great and the story-lines are all fantastic. This author keeps things going strong all through her books. If you haven't read any of these books you don't know what you're missing. I've read every one in this series and I haven't been disappointed yet.
I received this book as an advance reader copy for my honest review...so here goes..
Emma is an amazing story.. Faleena once again makes her characters feel like members of my family... Tanner is a man any woman would love be by her side..heis a perfect match for Emma. I laughed and cried with these characters..can't to see who is up next.
I so loved Emma and Tanner's story! Emma is a realtor, and she's every bit the sassy and fiery spirit that a Cocker should have! Loved their flirty and sexy banter, and Tanner being tamed. It was funny, angsty sexy and sweetly touching. Getting to know the Cockers has been such a pleasure, and I can only hope the family keeps growing! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
