Orc Stain creator James Stokoe pens a thrilling and claustrophobic Aliens story: Dead Orbit!
James Stokoe (born September 4, 1985) is a Canadian comic book artist who is known for his work on such titles as Wonton Soup, Orc Stain and Godzilla: The Half-Century War. Along with Corey Lewis, Brandon Graham and Marley Zarcone, he's a part of a studio/collective called "Yosh Comics".
Oh gee, an issue of a comic where a character(s) tries to escape a space station infested with some kind of alien creature, and shenanigans ensue. Never seen that done before..... especially not in this franchise.
Also, somehow this person, who was practically a corpse, was able to get up, seize a hostage, steal a shuttle, and accidentally get themselves blown up and almost kill the rest of the crew. They may be extremely stupid, but hey...... at least they have extreme pain resistance. Personally, if I was them and had no skin, I would probably be screaming in agony if I just stood still long enough.
Issue #3

Alien: Dead Orbit #3 is an excellent penultimate issue, setting up next month’s finale perfectly. Building off the suspense and tension of the last two issues, the creator gives us plenty of reasons to stay invested in this mini-series, with it giving Dark Horse‘s next Aliens project a lot to live up to.
