TT finally gets to tell his story; it’s gritty; it’s heart breaking; it’s soul destroying, but then it’s heart-warming; it’s sweet and sexy, and downright adorable in places. This book was good, really good. It has the second chance theme, which is what I think this series is all about, how our tough and downright dangerous bikers are brought to their knees by women from their pasts. TT is cloaked in demons from his past, he feels guilt and remorse for what his brother suffered at their mothers hands. TT is, as you’d expect an alpha male, well come on he is a Ruthless Rebel, he is sexy and has the swagger down to a ‘T’. Loved him most of the time, but on occasions I wanted to shake some sense into him, but that’s what Skinny was there for, thank goodness! Jessica, well what can I say, she was strong even when she seemed weak, and the things she went through, well they just demanded that she get some sort of HEA.
This book, although there were a few appearances from TT’s brothers was really all about TT, Jessica and a past that haunted them both, it focused on them and their emotions, there was no need to pad the book out with inconsequential details as their story was more than enough. I felt aggrieved for them, I cried a little for them and I smiled with them, this book was a one sit read, as once I started I didn’t want to stop and the story flowed so well that there was really no natural place to take a break, so I didn’t I’m not sure if there are any more books in this series, but I do hope there are more books from this duo.
