Timothy Raine is a simple museum curator, obsessed with 1940's Britain and film noir. He desires the different values of those days, the styles, even a little of the intrigue if he were to be honest. When a beautiful woman sweeps him into a dark world of violence and deception, he falls for the excitement but is blind to the danger. Because this tale's about to become way too personal for his own liking, and his only escape is to see it through to its bloody, twisted end...

"An exciting, thrilling, emotional journey with an ending that does not disappoint."

Such a brilliant first book from the author!

A few grammatical errors that could have caused me great pain, but the story more than made up for it!

Was gripped very quickly and had a great few twists and turns. Am left with deep breaths and quiet mourning for the completion of the book.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Wow. Quite a journey. I didn't know what to make of this tale when I first started reading it. I was instantly struck by the depth of writing in each and every line. A very well crafted text.
I went on the journey with Timothy, my name sake, though I'm glad I've not gone through what he has!
Chilling at times. A modern day tragedy if not set in the 1940s.
A brilliant job!
