Excessive

Hunter is a single father raising a five year old named Vince, and running a gun shop. His wife left him when Vince was a year old. Hunter had no time for anything except work and his son. Kylie works with her mom running the store her mother owns. Kylie loves next door to Hunter but has hardly said anything to him. She likes him but gets tongue tied around him, until one night she returns home and finds her front door wide open. She asks Hunter to teach her how to shoot a gun and just like that feelings blossom. Can Hunter take a chance on love with out getting hurt again? Great read. This book says four extra books but, actually has six extra books. First extra book is called Priest with Jace and Daphne. Second extra book is called Addicted with Nate and Abby. Third extra book is called Conviction with Ollie and Wren. Fourth extra book is called Protector box set with Ava and Brian. Fifth extra book is called Sexy Tattooist with Graham and Chloe. And the last extra book is called Costars with Damian and Emma.

This is a great love story but it is a bit on the long side. Hunter had already been married once but his wife left him and his son so he hardened his heart and valued to never love again so he don't get hurt again. Plus he had to take care of his son and making sure his son didn't get hurt. Then Kylie came into their lives and won the hearts of both father and son.
They both had to overcome lots of things from someone stocking Kylie and Hunter's son getting diabetes, and the care of each others hearts.

This was an interesting read. Kylie is a young inexperienced woman who falls for her next door neighborHunter. Hunter is a single dad who had dealt with tremendous loss.

Kylie's house is burglarized several times by a mysterious stranger. And just when you thought an exciting and suspenseful resolution to this part of the story will occur....boom 2 pages and its over. The entire first part of the book suggests there should be more. The resolution leaves you with more questions.

I thought when I first started this book that Ms Adams had gone off target. The first chapters being 6 about a gun shop owner. I actually put it down, feeling it wasn't for me. Today, I was looking for a new read and opened up from where I had left off. I am glad I did, as this turned out to be a one h3ll of a story.
So, my recommendation is to skim the first chapter and start reading from Kylie's chapter, unless you are into the guns and stuff.
Bonus books :
The Priest
For many, especially Catholics, this would be a taboo subject. A story where a priest has sex with a woman, and starts questioning his vocation, due to the attraction he has to her.
I, for one, believe that such subjects should be highlighted, other than in gossip papers. Priests, as is iterated, are human and fallible to human wants and needs. Yes their commitment to God and the church, means they need live a certain lifestyle, a lifestyle many fail to measure up to, because again, they are human and some of the Church's requirements are unnatural, irregardless what spin you place on it.
I enjoyed the journey this story lead me on, and the way it has made me think about some subjects that not what would normally be a topic of discussion.
ADDICTED:
To help someone who has a drug addiction, it takes someone strong in themselves, to aid someone through drug addiction withdrawal.
This is a story of two people, one s creative artist, disillusioned with life, but knowing he had to sort himself out, before he could face his other problems. The woman, is also hiding from a past, a past she has shed and become a new person from, someone who emphasize with others, and who wishes to help, wherever she could.
A really great love story. I really loved this book.
