Bought at the encouragement of my daughter, and it was interesting; I'm not sure how much of it I'll be able to incorporate into reading, but worth a shot. I've heard the version for children is really good.
Useful info but chapters started to repeat like halfway through the book and got boring. Also author was borderline sexist?????????? But helps with my ap lit class, unhappy that the author was right tho simply because he really loved to talk. Seems like the type of guy to often speak over women and loves to listen to himself speak. The amount of times I rolled my eyes at this book is probably well into the hundreds.
This is why I became an English major. Love unpacking a good book and all the discovery and debate that comes with it. Miss those days of exploration with great professors and great friends in that little Christian college in California
