I need the next one right now.
Couple quibbles: They go back to the time of Lady Jane Grey, London 1500-whatever. Language used by the contemporaries isn't really true to the time, but not too jarring to someone not expecting historical accuracy, except a few times. Once, when Lady Jane says, "okay". Um, yeah, that's so anachronistic it's jarring. Another time another contemporary says it, and our MC says it to a contemporary - when she's a time traveler trying to, you know, fit in with the time.
In one scene Lady Jane is wearing silk pajamas. I'm not an expert but I'm pretty darn sure women didn't wear pajamas in the 1500's. Pants of any sort were a big NO, even for sleeping attire.
But with the story it's really pretty minor. I don't expect anyone reading this, particularly after reading the first two and knowing what to expect, is going to be displeased. A thoroughly enjoyable time travel adventure. Sadly ending, again, in a cliff-hanger.

The only thing I didn't like about Legends Untold is I have to wait for Book 4 in the Timewaves series to come out! Stassi and her team are back to their time travelling adventures and on the trail of the five leafed clover. If you're a fan of the other books in the Timewaves series, or time travel adventures, this book is for you!

After reading book two I couldn’t wait for this one to come out. Stassi and her fellow runners are thrown back into the thick of things and are sent back to a volatile point in history. The plan, as usual, is to retrieve something that someone wants. But this run is not going to be easy. There are those who wish to see their plan fail, and they will stop at nothing to get their own way.
While dealing with the hazards their mission throws at them, Stassi and her friends also discover further signs of the mysterious five leafed clover which is somehow tied to Stassi’s past.
The way the book ends left me desperate for more. I will be waiting, not so patiently, for the next instalment.

Just finished the 3rd book was not able to put it down - Really liked the story with Lady Jane Grey and the continuation of the Stassi's story. I cant wait for the next book to come out.

Lady Jane Grey has just become the ill fated Queen of England, when Stassi and her friends jump back in time to retrieve a broach, but they find themselves the unwilling participants in a much larger conspiracy. Cliff hanger ending - looking forward to the next one!

Questions still unanswered
I liked this book and used it along with some internet googling to learn about some historical characters that I knew by name only. I was disappointed however to feel that I was no closer to learning the answers to my burning questions than I was when I started this read. Come on, Sophies, throw me a bone next time!

Another fantastic, can't put it down read. I am in agreement with another reviewer wherein they stated that the only thing that I don't like about this book is that now I have to wait for the next book in the series to come out. The wait, however long or short it may be, will be excruciating. I'm willing to wait for it as long as it comes out NOW. Awesome series. Love all the characters and the little side twists which just heightens the wow factor.

I received this ARC for my honest opinion. I love this Timewaves Series, Legends Untold was captivating. I was so happy once I finished the second book, I was able to jump right into the third right away. Now, unfortunately, I have to wait for the next. Stassi and Charles are moving along nicely, I'm enjoying Molly and Gaige too. The storyline with Lady Jane was sad but sweet. It was suspenseful, and well written. Thank you Sophies!!

I adore the Sophies' work, and the cliffhangers
I've been enraptured with the Sophies' work since I first read Talented. Their writing has grown even more descriptive, and better, with each passing book. When I first read The Syndicate, I couldn't put it down. And now, this third book, makes me itch for the next one :-)

A great story along with a bit of history, the royal variety. Loved the parts that Stassi and Molly played along with Gaige and Charles. That Four leaf clover keeps turning up in the most unlikely
And unexpected places. I am glad the team made the decision they did at the exit gate...now we just have to wait for the next book. I hope it wll not be long.

What a surprise to get not just one new Timewaves to read, but two. This was a great and exciting read. Stasi and the gang were back in their element and the reader can enjoy some history. I couldn't wait for the team to succeed and then go home to let Cyrus know what was going on. Great ending, but now I have to wait for the next book to find out what will happen next.

The girls have done it again! I am loving these time travel books tremendously! I like the addition of Charles to the group. I'm reeling from the mystery of Stassi's origins and have yet to figure it out. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

One of the things I like about this series is the time travel aspect. Well, it's got a few good things going for it...time travel, suspense/mystery, dystopian/steam punkish, and some romance. The author definitely has some fun with this given that they travel to the past and all over the world so their quips, fashion, and social references are all over the place, but acceptable. When you have a frenchman from the early 20th century as one of the 4 main characters (now), but are traveling 500 years before his time, and you are 500 years after his time, you have to allow for some variance in well, everything. But, back to the time travel. In the last book, the characters traveled to New York, but did not travel through time. In this one, they travel to Florida, but then get sent back in time on another job. As such, you get more of the current period differences in the world and people, that dystopian feel I mentioned earlier, post wars and destruction of the planet. Then they go back to a time long since past and find that this job is harder than others for several reasons. First, it is Charles' first run and he has a bit of a time with not changing the past. Second, it is Stassi's first run since Paris and getting back into the groove plus some added intrigue makes things more challenging. Then there is the endless search for answers to her past and her parents. I have to admit that the cliff hanger at the end was surprising, yet not. My mind has still not wrapped itself around where this is going, but that is the fun in reading this series. I cannot wait for the next book.

Given the intent of the runners is to change something (e.g. make off with something), without changing history itself, there is definitely some leeway taken in describing said history and how they are interacting with those historical characters. I read this as what it is and didn't care so much for how on point the history is or isn't. If you read it that way, you should enjoy this for what it is. An entertaining way to pass the time. That isn't to say that the historical aspect is wrong...I'm no history buff, but odds are someone is and will find something lacking. I for one enjoy reading the escapades that Stassi and gang get up to.

Legends Untold by Sophie Davis and narrated by Alison Schonhoff is the Third book in the Timewaves series. The quad group of Stassi, Molly, Gage, and Charles heads back to the 16th century, to the Coronation of Lady Jane Grey, July 10, 1553. But things go WRONG. The alchemists from this time period are defying the rules that Cyrus has put in place so the future isn't changed, as it is known in 2464. Stassi and Charles are setup as a married couple of the French Nobility, so they can get close to the newly crowned 16 year old Queen, Jane. During the weeklong celebrations that are scheduled to take place, Stassi befriends the young Queen, and begins to have doubts of leaving her to her fate. Stassi saves her life at the parade, which history notes did NOT have a violent uprising from the peasants. Saving her life also saves the mission, of recovering a broach that was given to Lady Jane by her mother, who was given it by her mother, Princess Mary, the younger sister of Henry VIII. Jane returns the favor of life saving after the quad is arrested in the Vault of the Queens Jewels. But instead of returning to the Island, the quad goes to New Orleans, 1908, where a letter is waiting for them from the serial murderer that is obsessed with our Stassi. CLIFFHANGER alert.

With this book, we get back into the time travel aspect of the story. The newly formed quad now has it’s first full blown mission, back to mid sixteenth century England, and Lady Jane Grey’s early days of her short reign as Queen of England. But emotions run high with this mission, and an unexpected snag puts the team in danger they never could’ve predicted. It’s fun to experience this team working and interacting together - Stassi and Gaige with their solid teamwork that they had established as a pair before the quad, Molly and Stassi as best friends, not to mention that Molly is excellent at her job, and Charles and Stassi as they navigate their relationship and feelings, and the secret that still floats between them, causing it’s own little rift, all while he is learning how to be a runner, and out of his own time. We get a little bit of everything with this story - the court intrigue and politics of 1500s England, the inner workings and politics of the Syndicate and the alchemists that are helping them in that time, as well as uncovering some surprising and unexpected connections to Stassi’s mysterious locket. Things continue to build, and this book in particular ends in a quite fascinating cliffhanger. Looking forward to the next book and seeing how things are going to unfold for the team!

Omg that ending!!
I’m so sad this book is over, but thankfully the next one will be out soon enough. Stassi and the gang going back to Lady Jane’s time had me incredibly nervous. Everything was so barbaric back then, and I feared the run wouldn’t go as planned. The new cast of characters was amazing as always, and I really felt for Lady Jane. Even though this is clearly fiction, I want to believe the real Jane was as cool as the Sophies’ Jane. Such a tragic story, and I’m curious to see how things played out in the next book.
Again, Baylarian has me hooked and dying for more. What’s his deal? What’s Charles’ deal? Oh yeah, and what’s Tessa’s deal?
This is just a suggestion, but I’d love to see a spin off series that focuses on various Alchemists. It seems like there are so many opportunities for shady business, and it would be cool to see something like an Alchemist who breaks the rules and travels into their future for some reason.

I loved it and I'm a bit glad it wasn't that long. It was interesting to read and fun but i couldn't read much so I'm happy it wasn't too long.
But I also wish it was because it didn't explain anything about the clover or the necklace or the watch or Stassi's and Charles' relationships about those things and each other. Like are they related somehow or why they have those pieces.

Cliffhanger . . . Again.
Another thoroughly entertaining story from the Sophies! I'm always greatly entertained by their writing and their world building, even though this world is not as complicated as the Talented world.
I have to complained about the massive need for a better editor!! It makes me bonkers!
And I wish Stassi and Charles would make some move towards each other! Give me some progress!
And what I really want is quicker movement on the locket and pocket watch front. This part of the story is moving WAY TOO SLOW for me! Again! Progress please!
And now time to wait . . . But for how long?

Freaking love all 3 of these books !!
This book is by far the best time travel book (s) that I have ever read !! And I have read tons of them !! The characters are people that I want to know and hang out with ....the details given to the history and locations are second to none...the only problem I find is that I keep switching to Google to look at pictures of places and historical characters ! Absolutely love this series...!!! Now the funny thing is , is that I'm probably not the normal demographic that would be interested in this...I am a 55 year old man that just really likes a good book !!! Keep up the awesomeness !!!

Such a riveting read!!
I didn’t realize how much I missed the trip! So happy to dive back into Stassi’s world.
As always Gage is a hoot, and I enjoyed seeing Charles and Molly as well. The next assignment takes the group to the 16th century to obtain a item. We get to see royalty and meet Queen Jane. The book was full or twists and turns. For me, this book was a fast pace read and I enjoyed it. It was very hard to put down. I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrator does a wonderful job portraying the characters and bringing the story to life. Looking forward to listening to the next installment and see where Stassi and the group do next.

The suspense keeps building!
Just finished book 3 of the Timewaves series. I love the way the authors have placed a story within a story. Just as the book’s story ends, the series story thread gets more suspenseful. What are the five leafed clovers leading Stassi and the gang into and how does the convicted murderer fit into it all?

Holy Cliffhanger!
I enjoyed this book even more than the prior books in the series. Time travel and characters taken from real history are one of my favorites. But this particular book ends on a cliffhanger that left me incredibly frustrated as the next book in the series is not yet available. Aaaaarrrgghh!😨

So Good
Such a good read. Can’t wait for the Next one. Probably my new favorite book. Has such good action and the last like 20% was intense and full of action. Also there were more and more questions coming to my mind I️ couldn’t keep up with it. I think it is impossible to put the book down at the 20% it went by so fast.

Legends Untold by Sophie Davis is the 3rd book in the Timewave series.
Stassi and her crew of runners stumble into a danger conspiracy while trying to obtain a broach before Lady Jane Grey's untimely demise! The audio narration is a perfect fit for the story!

FINALLY we get back to a historical setting. Even Charles didn't annoy me so much in this book as in the previous book. Overall, it was a quick fun read, and I'm still invested in the overall Stassi story arch. And New Orleans in 1908? Sounds good like a good time to me.
