With Chas and Spencer out of town on a job, it is left up to Missy and her friends to solve a murder before the new looney homicide detective has them arrested for a murder they didn't commit. This is an excellent book and I hated to see it end. Do not read if you are hungry! Food is mentioned EVERYWHERE!

Missy, Echo and their friend Joyce have had break-ins in Missy's cupcake shop and their homes. When the new detective in town tries to pin the murder of Joyce and Echo's personal trainer on the three of them, the ladies go on the offensive to find out who the real killer is. Love these characters and the murder plots they get involved in!

Drama at the Gym, WOW!!!!!

15 stars !!!!!!!
I loved this book, WOW Joyce, Echo's assistant at the book store/candle shop is a remarkable woman.
This has all the girls in a mess in this book while Chas and Spencer are gone on a case in Illinois.
Jealousy, vandalism, poisoning, framing for murder and an idiot homicide detective that won't listen to the coroner and his findings.
Could he finally be losing his job, the chief of police finally getting wise to the problem?
You have to read the next book that comes out to find out.
YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!
I love Summer's Cupcake series continuing of Missy and Chas.

I loved this series but this one was spectacular!

What could go wrong when you're crushing on your trainer? Well you could be considered a person of interest when he is found dead. Especially when someone is breaking into your home and the homes of your friends and leaving false evidence. To make matters worse Detective Solinsky, Chaz Becketts replacement, doesn't care about doing his job. Chaz is out of town so she and her friends set out to investigate. Cliffhanger alert.

Each book gets better..What would make this better is if she shared the cupcake recopes.

I like the first book but I wasn't really sure who was the main character ..I'm now on b9ok four and still not sure. But it's a quick read and not at all boring..no fluff ..not sure I like the fact that all the main characters are independently wealthy and there jobs are really just hobbies.
Not realistic..But a cute mystery.

Enjoyable, enjoyable!

The best so far in this series.
I kind of had figured out who the killer was, but still was not absolutely sure. I likes the twists and turns.
I think it is time that Izzy grows up or gets the boot permanently. Glad to,see that Jenssen will be located in the future books and I guess Kel will be phasing out of cupcake breakfasts and Joyce is on the way in.
Hope of rest of this series and others are as good as this book was. It was great!

Quite the plot twist

I am loving this entire series starting with the Frosted Love Cupcakes all the way to this book. The ending had quite the character plot twist that I certainly did not expect! Having read the Hawg heaven series in its entirety, I was befuddled to find that a crossover character lives in the Cupcakes series! The back story makes so much sense now! Great imagination & storytelling.

Another installment of Missy and Chas. In this one Chas is away on a case so Missy and Echo have to find out who is stalking them and their friend Joyce before they all end up in jail.

I really love this shorter but very well written story. I loved the story line which was fast paced and very entertaining. I love the characters and the descriptions of the Florida coast.

A great fast paced book.

Definitely a 5 star pulse.

There is another stalker running loose and it concerns Missy and of course, her friends. Missy and her friends, decide to follow I couple that may be doing it. Missy has a feeling, and Chas comes home. Only Chas has a hunch that bring them closer to the killer. Very well planned story that leaves the reader hanging to read the next story.

Author shout out!

While this book is listed as third in this series, it is actually just over fifty of a fabulous cast of the main core characters that keep evolving. Summer has kept this series absolutely fresh with no feelings of retreads of stories, each is an amazing story that keeps you totally engaged. Many, many thanks!!!

I really loved this book.

Summer you just get better and better. I loved Missy and Echo getting involved in sleuthing. It was like the old days when they lived up north. Please never get rid of these characters.

What an amazing read! Just when you think the series couldn't possibly get better, it does. I absolutely enjoyed seeing the ladies take the lead on this since Chas was out of state. There are some interesting changes afoot! Deserves way more than 5 stars!

Awesome!

This is a great book in a fantastic series! This time Missy and Echo take charge of a murder investigation. With a lot of help from Kell, they set out to clear Joyce's name. Will they be successful?!

Love you r characters

But it's gets so boring reading the same history of each character again and again. If half your readers are like me, we read each book in a series, don't want or need repeat descriptions. I need more story to read. Very disappointed in your new series.

The story this time involves all the characters almost being blamed for this murder. All the characters are as usual intriguing and fun and interesting all wrapped in one. I didn't want to put this one down at all until I was done !

Great read

Missy, Echo and Joyce are top suspect's in a murder while Chas and Spencer are out of town. The nasty new detective really wants to arrest them. Missy and Echo use the resources of Chas's detective agency to help them solve the murder.

Fast easy and light...

...But not at all deep.

A killer is on the loose and three good friends are suspects. Can they find the killer themselves?

This fast read is a great way to spend an hour or two and certainly won't make you think too hard!

Missy and Echo find themselves caught up in a murder uncomfortably close to home. Of course this occurs while Chas is out of town on business and can’t be there to help. While this is happening it also appears that a dangerous stalker is out to get more than one person in tiny Calgon, Florida. The new homicide detective is not interested in help from anyone. Instead he continues to focus his attention on Missy and her cupcake shop.

This is another great read in the Cupcakes in Paradise series. This book was a page turner. We are revisited by Tim’s wife, who scares me like crazy. Every since I read the prequel focussing on Tim’s life the character of Susannah has put me on edge. We also see just about every important character Calgon has to offer. I recommend this series and those that came before it.

Too easy

I figured this one out far too quickly, so was left waiting to get to the punchline. Not my favorite
