Tall, dark, sexy, blue-eyed Gunner Davis wears a leather kutte that he believes to be his father's. His mother was holding onto it the morning he found her dead. All the dreadlocked biker ever wanted was to be part of a family. When the faces of danger come looking for him, so does a link to a family lost.
Tamara's father Randall, is the VP of the Head Hunters MC Club. He is over-protective, and the last person he wants anywhere near his daughter, is a carefree and careless associate of a rival club. Gunner and Randall do have one thing in common... They will kill for those they love.
This is the third book in the Southside Skulls MC Series. This is a Standalone Romance Novel but is intended to be read after books 1 & 2… “DAX” and “CODY” where characters in those novels are main players in this story too. HEA and No cliffhangers. Intended for Mature Readers.
Gunner has become my second favorite from Southside Skulls , Dax being my first. Gunner was forced to grow up on the streets but before his mom died he was given his fathers cut. He wore it non stop. He meets Tamara, who tends to his wounds, falls for his blue eyes and she is the daughter of the VP of the Head Hunters MC. They both feel a connection but Tamara wont let her walls down to Gunner because she swore to herself she would not fall in love with a biker. Needless to say, love wins out and they are one steamy couple. Gunner does grow up and becomes a man worthy of prospecting for the Southside Skulls. Gunner discovers family in the Southside Skulls MC and that was what "Blue Eyes" ever wanted. Loved the ending and now I cant wait for Zack
Oh boy, oh boy another book from Southside Skulls... You already know that I'm a sucker for MC books and this series is amazing and so much more. I've already said this but I need to tell you again that Jessie Cooke has an intense, dark and raw writing that will give you the goose bumps and will scare you sometimes. Gunner is her latest release and tells Gunner and Tamara's stories. But before I start talking about this book I need to tell you something. Despite all books are standalones I totally advise you to read them all in order to understand this series better. Start with Dax, then Cody. You will fall on love with them just like I did. Gunner is a cocky guy that in order to get more money he do things not very recommendable. He is into underground fighting because that can give him easy money. He wears with proud a leather vest that he thinks it belonged to his father. He can be a little pain in the arse but behind that facade... Tamara is the daughter of the VP from the Head Hunters MC. She's very protected by her father and sometimes she just feels suffocating and wants to get away. When she meets Gunner things will start to develop but can they be together? For that to happen she needs to make her dad understand but being with the rivals it's not something he can accept. Not for his little girl... And that's it... I can't say more but I can say that I'm even more in love with this series. I loved every so gle book and I can't wait for more. The plot is amazing and the interaction between the characters was intense despite being forbidden. The hot stuff is something out of any chart and will leave you breathless. I love the fact that Tamara is a heroine that can protect herself and fight for what she wants. And I love the fact that Gunner had a soft spot behind that macho facade. And now what Jessie Cooke? What character will you write about next? Honestly it doesn't matter because I'll read it on a heart beat. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
It pains me to say, but this is my least favorite book in this series. Maybe I’m becoming too mature to deal with young 20’s BS or maybe the story line just didn’t do it for me, but for whatever the reason I just couldn’t connect.
Yes, much better than the second book and more like the first... hopefully that continues for the rest of the series. This was Gunner's and Tammy's (or Tamara's) book. Yes, didn't understand that. Sometimes she is called Tammy and others it's Tamara. Think Tammy is more of a nick name. You won't find out how Gunner got his name until the end of the book. Gunner is not part of any club. He is a bit of a fighter and mostly a big mouth screw up. Gunner has a kutte from the MC Southside Skulls that he has had since his mother died when he was a little boy. Before she died she let him know to keep it as it was worth wearing and would lead to a good life one day. All it ever got him was in a fight but he wore it anyway. Tammy is the daughter of the VP of the local MC down south. When Gunner gets beat up too bad he was taken to her to keep an eye on him since she is an unemployed nurse. It was a favor for another club. All she wants is to leave town because even though she graduated with honor's in nursing school she can't get a job because of who she is related to. Tammy and Gunner start to get together but she is kidnapped and doesn't want to be with a biker. Gunner has a habit of getting shot and plans to join a MC. Not a great match but you can't help who you has your heart. Almost forgot to mention....there is a mad crazy man who owns more people than the MC and he wants them both. Read and figure out who's doing what figure out how it's going to go down.
I really enjoy this series Gunner has got to be one my favorites even though I really got frustrated with some of the characters . This can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest that you read the other two because there are characters you don't want to miss out on and what they go through to get their happy ending . At first I didn't really like Gunner he was was cocky with a side of obnoxious but he grew on me and became likable plus he has dreads I have a weakness for them what can I say . Loved everything about Tamara she just one of those heroines you adore reading about there is one thing I admit that kinda ticked me off but it was just a tiny thing . These two made a super hot couple the sex scenes are really steamy so be prepared , love love love what the heroine calls the hero it's adorable . Hope we get to see more about certain characters and how they are doing a little hesitant about about who is next . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero = 9 heroine = 10 secondary characters = 9 Chemistry = 10 steam = 10 romance = 6 humor = 4 darkness level = 5 enjoyment =10 angst = 3 action = 3 story line = 10 mystery = 3 character development =10 pacing = 10 Plot = 10 cover = 10 stars = 5 author = 10 would I recommend this book = yes would I re read this book = yes would I read future books by this author = yes
The Southside Skulls MC series quickly stole my heart after book one, Dax and like an addict with this series... I keep coming back for more.
Sexy. Suspenseful. Intense. Twisted. These guys and this club... all the yeses times infinity. MC romances may not always be a first choice for me but this crew and this newish-to-me author definitely is.
Gunner is the third standalone novel in this series (with overlapping characters and storylines from book to book so it's suggested that readers read in order) and what a stunner it was.
Captivated from the very start, these characters and this journey were so so good and intriguing. And I'm totally not ashamed to admit that I got lost between the pages of this book only stopping once those pages quit turning.
Gunner and Tamara, what a dynamic pair these two were. Undeniable chemistry... engaging banter... explosive suspense... unforgettable moments... and a complicated love story that will tug at your heart and give you all of the feels in all the right ways. Every moment I spent with these two was special, fun, and completely twisted.
I simply cannot wait for the next book.
If you like your books a little out of the box and on the edge with heavy suspense and romance then try this author and this incredible series today.
Holding onto a cut he thinks is his fathers Gunner has no one. His mother was clinging to it when he found her dead. The streets are his home and they aren't safe. His past is lost to him. The leather jacket has to lead to something. But trouble has found him before he found the missing link.
Tamara is drawn to the man she found broken and bleeding but she will never fall for a biker. Her father would have a say - he is with the rival club.
When the past meets the present and danger falls all around the one thing Gunner and Tamaras father want to protect the most maybe they will come together.
Gunner is so arrogant I wanted to punch him. Tamara was the sweet and adoring yet strong female lead I love. Gunner did redeem himself a bit but he was hard for me to not want to smack a few times. Dax and Cody play a huge part in this release although it is a standalone. Good read and good addition to the series.
Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets. Thank you for the ARC!
All Gunner Davis wanted was a family that cared about him. Growing up the son of a biker who left his teenage, prostitute mother with nothing but his biker cut, he has no family left but the one that he has made with the few that he trusts. In and out of bad situations, admittedly of his own making, has left Gunner without an optimistic outlook on people. However, when the Southside Skulls come calling for answers, Gunner is about to find out that the family that he has always secretly longed for is closer than he realized. But so is the past that he wants nothing to do with, but he can’t seem to shake. And that past lands him directly into the lap of Tamara, daughter of the VP of the Head Hunters MC.
Tamara knows what type of life bikers lead in the MC. But she is determined that she will not be a man’s old lady, delegated to a second-class citizen. She will forge her own path, but that is harder to accomplish that she first thought. Everyone knows who her father is and who the Head Hunters are, leaving her without a lot of options. But one thing she does know about the MC, when they call asking for help, you answer. That is how she ended up with a ripped, sexy, blue-eyed biker in her bed looking like he went rounds with a heavyweight champ, and resounding lost!
The spark between them is instantaneous, and both know of the complications that the attraction can lead too. But neither is willing to stop the fire that rages between them. And when danger comes knocking, Gunner shows that he is more than willing to place his life in danger for those he cares for and is willing to stand up and do what is right, even if it isn’t the smartest option available. Unfortunately, these two hard headed people have more twists and turns in their paths than they thought, and if they are not careful, they may not have a future to fight for.
The Southside Skulls are back and badder than ever! I was a little disappointed in CODY and didn’t like that book as well as the first. But I do believe that GUNNER has now become my favorite in this series so far! Gunner is a super awesome hero in this book, although he does have a tendency to get shot a lot. But what I loved about him was the Jessie Cooke made him so believable a character. He is sweet and kind, and in the next second he is dominant and dangerous. And Tamara is an awesome heroine. She doesn’t take crap from any of the men in the club, even though she does have to give in periodically. She stands toe to toe and is willing to fight for what is right. There are again twists and turns and secondary plots that entangle the characters even more, but that just makes the story that much better. This is definitely a win in my book and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book!
Pleasantly surprised! Gunner is book number 3 in the Southside Skulls MC series, however this is my debut read by Jessie Cooke. Being a big fan of MC romance, I took a chance on an ARC copy of Gunner and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Even though this is book 3 it can be read as a standalone which was a big bonus for me at the time.
This story follows Gunner, a young punk who has had a rough childhood surviving on the streets after his mum died. All she left him was an MC kutte telling him it belonged to his father. He fought tooth and nail to keep hold of that kutte in the hope one day he might get answers as to where he came from.
Gunner is now 22, tall, dark, handsome Puerto Rican heritage but he has these piercing blue eyes that he got from his father which only enhances his sex appeal. With the volume of ladies that throw themselves at him Gunner does know he looks good. This make him extremely arrogant, cocksure and gets him in a lot of trouble, which is what puts him on the Southside Skulls radar.
This is a great story, there are DNA results, fights, drugs, human trafficking, an MC princess, young love, kidnapping, rescue
Tamara, the Head Hunters (friends to Southside Skulls) VPs daughter, a newly qualified nurse is tired of losing opportunities because of her family, she has resolved that she needs to leave and start over somewhere nobody knows her. One night she has a bloody beaten fighter brought to her to fix up, Gunner in and out of consciousness believes she is an angel, but her soon learns that Tamara is a take no prisoners, will stand behind no man type of girl fueled with sass and spunk and will risk herself to save the vulnerable and those she loves.
The dramatic story that ensues is filled with sex, intrigue, suspense, young love, and a highly entertaining biker ex-boyfriend. You will not want to miss this biker’s taillights. Thoroughly recommend this read and will be digging into Dax and Cody’s story very soon.
GUNNER: Southside Skulls Motorcycle Club (Southside Skulls MC Romance Book 3) By: Jessie Cooke
This is the third book in the Southside Skulls MC series. I know this can be read as a standalone book but I would not advise it. You do not want to miss out on the other two books because you get to meet some of the same characters that are in this story.
This is the love story of Gunner and Tamara. This book is filled with excitement, sex, drama and so much more. If you are into Motorcycle Club (MC) Romance books then this one is for you. I love this kind of books and basically only want to read these. I catch myself driving down the road and seeing a guy on a bike. And yes, it runs through my mind about whatever MC book I am presently reading.
Gunner is a cocky little smart ass at times. He does underground fighting to try and make a quick buck. He wears a leather kutte he believes belonged to his father. At least that is what his mother told him when she was dying. Gunner has those famous blue eyes that stop everyone in their tracks.
Tamara is the daughter of the VP from the Head Hunters MC. Her father is very protective of her. Sometimes she just feels like she is suffocating and wants to get away. Then she meets Gunner and takes care of him and they both start to have feelings. The problem is how will her father deal with this? Can they be together?
These two have chemistry from the start. I think forbidden chemistry makes it even better. They both know that they should not be together, but neither of them wants to walk away. And when danger comes, Gunner is not afraid to stand up for the people he cares about. He is willing to do this even when it is not the smartest thing to do.
So if you are in for a ride of a lifetime, jump on the back of this bike and ride. Thanks, Jessie Cooke for another great book. I can't wait for the next in the series. I will just wait patiently.
Gunner Davis is a tall, dark, and sexy blue eyed man, who has no problem getting the ladies, which tends to get him in trouble. But nothing like the trouble that comes from his wearing a MC's club leather kutte, which he believes was his fathers. It's the only thing he got from his mother, when her found her holding it after she died. All he wants is a family, and that's when he gets when big trouble finds him. Tamara's father is the VP of the Head Hunters MC, and is very over protective. So when a a rival club associate with trouble in his wake ends up in her house, he's not too happy. They have a strong connection, but she swore that she would never get involved with another MC member, and that's all that Gunner wants, besides her. OMG, Gunner was an action packed, wild and sexy ride, of which I couldn't get enough of! I'm still laughing about Gunner, who definitely takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'! That boy got into so much trouble that I wanted to slap him upside the head a time or two. Tamara's a feisty female who could kick some serious a**, and I loved her too, although, I wanted to shake her a time or two. Of course together, these two passionate people LIT THE SHEETS UP! Like FIERY FLAMES of sexy times that will disintegrate panties everywhere! There were so many colorful secondaries that even while my heart raced, I couldn't help but laugh like a crazy woman! I'm a newer fan of Jessie Cooke, and I gotta admit, her talented writing style has me so highly addicted, that it will take some kind of treatment to move on! I CANNOT WAIT to read the next book in this AWESOME SERIES, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Hmmm well where should I start my review for this book?!?!? I'm not quite sure yet. Look I love finding new MC series and have been with this series since Dax. And I really liked Dax's book, but these last two books I'm a little unsure about. Look Gunner is the third book in this series and follows Gunner and Tamara. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I would suggest reading the first two first so you know who people are.
Hmmm Gunner..... I had my moments with Gunner. Or maybe a more like/dislike relationship with him. There were several times I just rolled my eyes at his attitude. There were times where I wanted to smack him for his almost entitled ego. And yes I realize he was a younger guy. But there were other times I realized as he was a younger guy that he was just looking for a place to belong, people to call family. Those were the moments I liked him the most.
I really liked Tamara. I think she's the whole reason why I continued on with this book. She was smart, funny, independent, witty, and sassy. She definitely knew how things worked. But definitely didn't put up with shyt either.
I will say that I did like this book. There was a lot that was going on in it and it kept my attention at times. I also liked seeing familiar faces of the Skulls making appearances. I also liked getting to meet new faces also. But I will say this I kind of feel like this book left me with more open unanswered questions than answered questions.
I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!
***I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion***
So far of the 3 books read in this series this is the best one... I just want to say I hope his friend changes his mind and goes to become a biker he is kinda fun and daring too. Gunner is interesting and he kinda end ears himself to you while he sorta stumbles from one mess to another. There were solo many off shoots that could become members too... Including most of Tamara's family I hope her twin Brother Tommy finds his way not too eventually, if he survives his coma.and her Dad Randle is on the run too so it would be good if he could may be find his way there too... But Gunner is Dax's brother who he never knew existed... The majority of the story is in San Antonio Texas but there is a fast rip to Boston to meet his brother and Dax comes to San Antonio to help his brother when his fight goes wrong and a mobster starts a war on the local MC club, run by a psycho. Tamara nurses Gunner back to health she is a nurse, but then she gets kidnapped. In the end there are probably two bad guys, the mobster and the MC President who it seems has decided to take out his VP and his whole family... Don't worry though they both get got in a way. Oh Gunner is a fighter and he wins the fight with the guy he looses too in an actual fight that's not rigged like the first one. I am glad Kane gets his story next too. Is kinda funny too. Hope he has to ask Gunner for a favour.

Gunner (Southside Skulls MC) by Jessie Cooke is the story about Gunner and Tamera.
I enjoyed this book probably the most out of this series so far. Gunner was kind of all over the place for me, but I didn't really fall in love with him until he met Tamera. I felt like Dax, shaking me head at his antics, being like when will this boy every learn.
In this book Zack points out that Southside is not like other clubs, and I was really glad he did that. It kind of highlighted and explained that yes, they aren't as cruel and crude as you would find an MC in real life or in other books, but they are legitimate. It explained some of the inconsistencies that I've mentioned in previous reviews of the series.
Gunner is a doer, and I know that sounds strange since he hadn't accomplished much in his life. However, I think it's the core of his character. Sometimes that gets him into trouble. The relationship between him and Tamera reminded me a little bit of Cody/Harley. Although I'm sure Cody would hate that reference.
Overall I really enjoyed the book, and I can't wait to read the next in the series.
The third book in this wonderful series has us meeting Adam "Gunner" Davis. He's an underground fighter and works odd jobs to make ends meet, but he has a leather vest that was supposed to belong to his father, a secondhand bike and he would like to join a MC. He has a lot to learn and after he upsets some dangerous men, he finds himself face to face with a brother he didn't know he had and with the chance of being excepted into a club, if he really wanted the life. And Tamara, she is everything he wanted in a woman, except she is a family member from a rival MC, she's also a nurse and good for Gunner's heart and soul. Gunner is a standalone story but characters from previous books play large roles in the storyline. The plot has drama, violence and some MMA fighting, there's also plenty of passion. Lots going on in this story, Gunner was an endearing character he was very was likeable. Some sad moments for the characters and laughter too. A very entertaining story. I highly recommend this book!
Gunner (KU) 408 pgs *** Gunner & Tamara The story was great but the sex scenes were way too long for me, lasting pages and pages and there was nearly as many pages of sex as there was story. Not my favorite type of book. The MC action was the saving grace for me in this book. Gunner and Tamara were good together and had great chemistry. Character building was written really well and I really enjoyed meeting new potential book characters. This could very well have been a 4-5 star but there was so much sex and the sex scenes weren’t even written well and I ended up skipping half of the book because of that. The ending just stopped, like the others, no epilogue, no HEA, no nothing. I did enjoy what little story there was and since the previous book was so much better than this one, I still have hope the next book will also be better. I do plan to read the next book because I do like the way the author tells the stories and build the characters but I can’t take 50% of the book being dull, mechanical sex scenes.
I love this series!! Ms. Cooke has another hit on her hands. Gunner grew up on the streets after his mother died and Tamara is a nurse and the VP's daughter of the Head Hunters who doesn't like being at the disposal of the club. An unlikely pairing but they work. Gunner is cocky, obnoxious underground streetfighter just trying to make a buck. He has a cut of a the Southside Skulls MC that his dying mother said his father gave to him and he even has a secondhand motorcycle. He doesn't know if he believes her when she says she knows who his father was because she was a prostitute, but Gunner wants to believe he is the son of a President for an MC. Gunner has these sexy dreads and the bluest eyes, a potent combination. Tamara falls in love with his blue eyes when she is tending to him after he got beat up in an underground fight. The one thing Randall (Tamara's father) and Gunner have in common they both want to protect the people they love, especially Tamara.
Gunner family has the family he's always wanted in the Southside Skulls MC, even if it's an unlikely family. When a foe from Gunner's past has him on his radar again he will call on his family to help protect him and Tamara. With a plot to take down him, Tamara and her immediate family will they come together stop the threat?
** I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review **
Gunner was a street kid after his mom died. He made a friend billy and him got taken in by Sally a bar owner. But he got is ass kicked because of him wearing a MC cut. But now trouble is coming because the MC that belongs to that cut are come to talk to him why he has it. When the guys from southside skulls get there they just take him back to Massachusetts to talk to Dax the president of the MC. After Dax hears gunners story they take a dna test to see if they are brother but everyone can see the resemblance. But gunner needs to get back to Texas he has a underground fight. But the fight is rigged and gunner is going to go against the crook and lose so billy call Dax’s for help to save gunner and gunner sends in the head hunters that’s how he in’s up in Tammy’s house she is taking care of him. But soon more trouble comes after them so enjoy another good read and see what they go through!!
Gunner by Jessie Cooke is the third book in the Southside Skulls Motorcycle Club Series. The previous books in this series are Dax and Cody. Every book can be read as a standalone, but I recommend to read the books in order. Meet Adam " Gunner " Davis, he owns a second hand harley, a leather vest, that is supposed his fathers and not much else. He works odd jobs and does underground fighting to make meets ends. He´s a young man who has a lot grow up to do. After a encounter with a dangerous enemie he meets his angel, Tamara. Tamara is a family member of a rival MC, nurse and helps him heal. Gunner is a full-length MC romance novel with a beautiful HEA. But be aware, there is violence, danger and more violence. This book kept me well entertained, I laughed, I cried and I suffered with the characters. I give 4,5 stars and thank you, Jessie Cooke.
Eh.... How old is Gunner? Never did get that clear. Street kid in TX, orphaned at about age 10, left with a vest he was told was his dad's. Gets into a bar fight as an adult & this leads to people turning up wondering what he is doing in a club cut when he isn't a member. They drag him back to MA where it turns out it really was his dad's cut. But he heads back to TX for an illegal fight. This ends up dragging him into a gang war, where he meets Tamara, the daughter of the VP of an allied MC. Trouble follows him and her and they end up on the run while they sort out who is behind what. Foolish choices are made and stupid chances are taken. I want to like this series but for reasons I can't quite put my finger on, I just don't.
This story was certainly a wild ride with secrets, mystery, lots of angst, tensions running high, violence, and a lot of unexpected twists. It involves a few different clubs, as well as someone from Gunner's past that seem to all be loosely connected, unfortunately. It's a story that you won't want to miss. I would highly suggest reading this series in order to get the most out of each book. Although each can be read as a stand alone book, there is a lot of crossover, as well as continuing stories involving certain characters that carry on between the books. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and great author.
A good addition to the Southside Skulls MC series, Gunner could be considered a standalone. But it does feature things about the couples in the previous books, so I would suggest reading them all. Written in the unique style that I have come to enjoy by Ms Cooke, told primarily from Gunner's POV, I felt like I truly knew who Gunner was, he matured and became a prospect. Gunner is hot, strong and protective. His story has many layers, from his past to his future with the Southside Skulls. Filled with club politics, violence and hot sex...isn't that why you read MC romances to begin with? I am looking forward to reading Zach's story.....he intrigued me.
This is the 3rd book in this amazing series, and is Gunner and Tamara’s story. Gunner is always on the hunt for a family that cares about him, not realising that this may be closer than he imagined. Tamara is the daughter of a VP from an opposing club, and the attraction between them is instant and intense, but they both know that there is going to be complications from this. No spoilers this is a must read for all MC lovers, you will not be disappointed. Once again this author has brought us an awesome story, which had me hooked and intrigued throughout. Looking forward to reading more in this series. Phenomenal work Jessie! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!
Enjoyed this one as well. I loved Gunner - he was actually sweet and hilarious. He a shit upbringing and grew up on the streets and learned to survive, therefore when it comes to some common sense and emotions he has difficulties at times. I liked Tamara - understood where she was coming from but sometimes the heart does what it does and you fall in love with someone whom you may not want to off the bat. This book is action packed and it is great how we still know what's going on with the characters we were introduced to from the 1st book and on. Looking forward to reading about Zack - even through his cockiness and arrogance you can tell he's a good guy with how he was with Nicole.
So much going on in this book! Gunner isn't in a MC but he wears a kutte that belonged to his father. When it gets back to the Southside Skulls that someone is wearing a kutte belonging to an old member, he is brought to the MC. Returning to Texas where he's an underground fighter, he gets into a bit of trouble and has his best friend make a call for help back to the Skulls. Gunner finds himself in the home of Tamara after his fight. Tamara is one tough woman with her father VP and her brother a member of the local MC. Gunner is tough but sweet and loyal. Another great read!
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
4.5 stars This was my favorite book out of the series so far. I really liked Gunner with his crazy ass. He had zero impulse control and I connected with him immediately. I liked Tamara also she was a strong, independent, feisty woman. She and Gunner had some great sexy times. The story was very entertaining. I always love to see past characters. Dax is still the man. Cody is still an asshole lol. I think Cody had some jealousy issues with Gunner. I was happy that Gunner found out about his father Doc and ended up joining his brother's MC. I'm looking forward to Zack's story I really liked him. And that cover model is fine!

Dnf-ed. It is now safe to say that the best MC bikers rommance I've read so far is Joanna's Wylde Reapers. The only one I actually reread.
This series started good, than it got worse and now its dnf. Its just that I don't feel the chemistry, females are so crude its border line ridicilous. There is so much sex and mentioning of sex, like they all have no life at all, but sex, sex and some more sex. Imagine you meet ppl who only talk about pussy and dicks all the time, always. Like watching a bad porn, where actors need to say this stuff or something. As for the clubs and members description and stories its boring. It just fell flat for me, I couldn't even finish this one.
I loved this story when it was actually having a plot twist. Sadly it was filled with so much sex scenes that it just got boring. There was so much that could have been explored in this book but every few pages was them having sex. To make it worse it wasn't a short sex scene it was pages and pages of one scene and then over and over again. We are left wondering what happened to her brother and dad. Why did Billy not come with him when he said he would always be by his side. This story is also supposed to be about the Southside Skulls but it seems like every other MC is involved and main characters that aren't from this MC.
Yay! Another lovely book by the lovely Jessie Cooke! Her Southside Skulls MC Romances are the bomb.com and this is no exception! Gunner has an emotional backstory and his counterpart comes from a not so excellent past as well. Together they forge happy bonds, once they can learn to trust one another. Super sexiness and love ensues, and character development is always off the charts! Great twists and an overall plot. A book series I think I'll reread once each is out.
I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.
I chose this rating because this was a pretty okay book. I really enjoyed most of the characters. This book was kind of strange but overall it was a pretty good book I was happy that Gunner was able to find out that Dax was his brother well half-brother. This book had a lot of ups and downs, betrayal, someone blaming someone else for their own family's tragedy. And things turning out that that person was to blame his self. Overall this was a pretty good book. Great read. I recommend this book to all romance readers
