A thought provoking read that left me hoping the story isn’t over....

Short-take: I found this to be an enjoyable, very readable book. It seemed character-driven, which is my personal preference. The character development, and plot, kept me turning pages. While some may have a problem with supernatural concepts and theories, I have no such difficulty. I actually enjoy considering all manner of "what if?" possibilities. My rating is set at 4 stars; however, 4-1/2 stars is what I would preferred to rate it, would that have been possible. The reason I could not give 5 stars lies in my only issue/criticism of this book: the ending. No spoilers here, suffice it to say the ending felt abrupt, unfinished. If there is a sequel planned (yes, please?! I'm in line to buy....), perhaps expanded foreshadowing might have been in order.
