*****FULL LENGETH STANDALONE NOVEL !! ***** Have you ever looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the person staring back at you? Sometimes in order to have more, you end up sacrificing a bigger part of yourself—and still coming out with less. Valencia Martin was far from naïve, witty maybe—but a dummy never. When she meets Ke’Andre, she finds herself intrigued by his mystic, setting him a part from any man she’s ever dated. Yes he may have street cred, but it was his sense of superiority and the way people threw themselves at his feet that left her intrigued. She soon learns that even men of Ke’Andre’s caliber, comes with secrets just like the rest of them. In this exciting standalone novel, it tells a story of a woman searching for who she is—yet still running from someone she wants to become. In order to find yourself you may have to walk away—but what if you don’t know what you’re heading towards?
I gave this book 5 stars for the fact that the author is from NJ like me...no, seriously for writing a well-written story about a girl in love can lose herself by putting a man before herself. I was so uncomfortable reading this because I'm so used to the couples being together that this book was showing the reality of what happens when you mess with a married man. How sad that she did not get a job after getting her degree. Something we do for the love of a man. Great read and I recommend it to all..
Val was to naive for my liking. Weezy should of came into her life a little earlier, but I'm glad he did. Dre was a b!tch a $$ for all that he put Val through. His wife was no better. Even through he could of left her he didn't cause her father money was looking to good. I have a feeling his wife had something to do with his right hand man getting killed.
Wow I was speechless! This book had more plot twists and surprises than a little bit! I went from loving Dre to hating him as he was so manipulative! Weezy was definitely bae and the ending surprised me! It was an emotional book for me as it had me in my feelings! Great job!
I couldn't hardly put this book down, it was just that interesting, exciting, and thrilling. I had a lot of feeling reading this one mad, happy, excited, even overwhelming at time. But it over all was a joy to read. The ending was great I'm happy it ended the way it did. Lata
Dre truly change. Val a good girl. I wish hat she would have been smarter about the House and the car. Chy was wrong. I wish that the truth would have came out . Dre I didn't like any more. Brenda and Markeida trip me out I enjoyed this STANDALONE BOOK
This book held my interest from beginning to end. It had realistic moments and emotions displayed but in the end real life lessons learned and true love was found.
Wow, this was so good. I just knew Dre was the one for Valencia. He was so good to her in the beginning but when he sent her to the clinic I knew he no good. I'm glad she finally had enough and left him alone. Very good book from beginning to end!!!
I like the fact that this book had hints of the street but it never really said it was Street if that makes sense. This was a great book about knowing your worth. I always enjoy your writing.
Lori Robins once again shows just how strong her pen game is! This story plot really hit home with so much truth to it! Remember never allow anyone to control your all leaving you with nothing! Absolutely worth reading!
Good storyline. Glad Val came around because if not I was jumping in the book to knock some sense into her. That darn Dre was unbelievable a n d so not worth her time.
Grammar, spelling, and character errors...but intriguing story line and some unexpected turns. Dre and Valencia were definitely a mess and I’d love to hear more about her friends from college.
The twist and turns were def worth the read. I’m so glad Valencia found love, because Dee did not deserve her at ALL. I was all for him before his lies came to light. Thank god for a man like Weezy.
I give this book🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.... This is a wonderful standalone... Weezy is bae... Vally finally got her happy ending... I wish i could give this book more stars..
I am so happy for Val man. She had me worried for a min with the Dre Bs until "a real man" gave her the business. I love the ending. Perfectly balanced.👍
I loved this from beginning to end I wished it was more but this was great I loved val and couldn't stand Dre and loved weezy that rai I couldn't stand
