"If you are looking for a cowboy sandwich with lots of action, a bit of suspense, a few family issues and lots of hot, steamy $ex, make sure you read this! Wow!" When Grace offered to work at the animal clinic the summer between college and vet school, she did not expect her very first day to involve a sexy, shirtless cowboy, a misunderstanding of embarrassing proportions, or her arm shoulder-deep inside a birthing mare.
Newly single and never one to jump in blindly with both feet, her summer kicks off to a very heated start when she finds herself leaping from the frying pan that is Adam, into the fire of his twin brother, Scott.
Will the heat of this Texas summer melt her with desire or burn her to ashes when both billionaire, cowboy brothers set their sights on roping Grace in between them?
Ménage A Cowboy is the first hot MFM stand-alone romance in the same shared world as Claimed By The Cowboys, Cowboys In January, Val-Entwined Cowboys and March Of The Cowboys. As is usual for this series, it’s all about one lucky woman finding her HEA between two sexy-as-sin cowboys, with no M/M, NO CLIFFHANGER and NO CHEATING.
A Bonus Chapter of Claimed By The Cowboys is added to the end of this novel.
Well it is definitely steamy, but the plot and the h are so childish that I quickly lost interest. I could no believe that the h's father would immediately disown her, and side with her ex boyfriend. It didn't get any better, with so many steamy scenes, yet the story was just too silly. It felt like a high school drama, and I did not like it at all.
Looks like i'm in the minority here, but nothing about this worked for me. I know I'm coming off of a massive book hangover, but dear lord, I did not like this. I didn't find the sex scenes hot even...and I can read smut for the sake of smut, but this was just not working. The Grace was terrible and immature and ew. Adam and Scott were odd. A menage story with brothers could be really hot, I've read a few, but this seemed strange. Scott's first encounter with Grace and while getting her off he's practically begging her to invite her brother next time too. The situation with her dad was strange and uncomfortable and the thing with Jake was...overly contrived and crazy as hell. Just not for me, but again, I'm in the minority so if this is your jam, give it a go.
I am somewhere in the middle on this. I appreciate the fun and steamy menage scenes, but I don't know why I can't get past the idea that twin brothers fall in love with the same woman and it is insta-love too. Throw in a jealous jerk of an ex-boyfriend and you get some additional drama.
Very sexy book I really am thoroughly enjoyed the charters in this book in the very Alpha taboo scenes it was a great start to this series definitely would recommend this book to people 18 or older this is my first book by this author I thought it was fabulous I intend to read the next book in the series I really enjoyed the charters in the taboo sexy's twins was deliciously taboo
Grace is helping her dad with his veterinary duties at a ranch with the birth of a foal. As the story starts out she is standing staring at the sexy cowboy who is trying to help her father turn the foal so the birth can continue as the mare is having difficulties. Her father tells her she needs to be the one to turn the foal as her hands are smaller. Scott, the sexy cowboy she's been ogling tells her how to proceed and she is successful and the foal is born. Of course now she's a mess and Scott tells her to go up to the house and take a shower and borrow some clean clothes. As she comes out of the shower she sees Scott and thanks him for guiding her and then hugs him which leads him to kiss her. Only it isn't Scott, it's his twin brother, Adam. As they are kissing her father and Scott walk up to them and Grace is totally confused as she didn't know they were twins. This starts the beginning of an interesting relationship between the three. The story is quite interesting as the author throws in several twists including an ex boyfriend, a kidnapping and luckily a happy ending. All in all, an interesting book.
A first time read of Miss Klaire and I absolutely loved it. It was so funny at times and I loved that we got to read everyone’s points of view. I would’ve given a full 5 stars if not for grammatical errors.
This story really started off very exciting with a foaling mare needing help. Then a bit of mistaken identity finally results in a very hot kiss. Then she learns he's not who she thought he was... its his twin... identical twin. The rodeo... was where it sorta felt like the story went from great to mediocre... I wish the story had went into the business of the Twins in relation to the rodeo, bulls, and horses more. It sorta felt there was a lack of depth and understanding of Billionaire Cowboys with a Rodeo... it isn't really clear if the own the bulls and horses or what... the focus turns to a crazy Ex-boyfriend and the Twins hooking up with their new girlfriend. It gets a bit over dramatic when her Ex-boyfriend kidnaps her right after the hottest sex scene in the whole story. Oh but before that her father disowns her... It was kinda disjointed with the way it was written. The story line was pretty good, it was the presentation of the men... the Twins, the ex-boyfriend, the father... none of them really matched up right. It has a bit of potential if the author had studied Rodeos, and Veterinarians adding more about them and situations they actually might be in. The ex-boyfriend really didn't need to get out of jail early and propose the the Twins Blackmailer either... the whole kidnapping thing seemed kinda contrived. I am gonna save a copy ob
Different viewpoints in this story. Twins, Scott & Adam Mitchell fall in lust with the vet’s daughter, Grace. Grace completed college and is taking the summer to work with her dad at his veterinary clinic before starting veterinary school in the fall. Her first job is to assist a mare birth her foal and keeps getting distracted by Rancher Scott McHottie-without-his-shirt-on. Since that moment on, a whirlwind romance with brothers and Grace. Ex-boyfriend Jake appears to cause mayhem in the mix and a reappearance of an ex-flame for the boys starts to raise some questions. Cute story and I enjoy Graces banter and personality. The sex scenes were exciting and the story itself had a good plot.
I did chuckle at the teaser for Claimed By the Cowboys featuring the brothers Kevin & Cade Dickerson from The Swingin’ D Ranch. These boys were mentioned a couple time in this story it is a good segue into book 2.
This book was great. It was steamy but also had a good plot to it also. This was my first book by this author and if the other books are like this one, then it won't me by last.
Grace act shameful with what's she was doing and I really liked that. She did what she wanted and it made her happy.
The twins, Scott and Adam will make you swoon. They were Cowboys and rich so that was a double wow, but they were hard workers.
The plot was light but at the same time it had some small drama that kept me Interested. With a few exa showing up it was a ride to see if those people could tear apart this awesome Triad.
Overall, I did enjoy it. I would have liked more of an epilogue maybe 5 years down the road, but I was content with the ending of the story. I plan to look and see what other books this author has out. 4 stars #2OCCJD
Finding one hottie to lust over...score. Finding out he has a twin... Win Finding two Hot twins and they want to share...Jackpot
Wanna be Vet home for the summer to work with her father never expected to lust after a gorgeous guy while he has his hand up inside a birthing mare. Quick clean up shower leads to running into him in the hallway and a thank you becomes a kiss. A wonderful kiss until her father clears his throat and shes seeing double. Two hot cowboys and she kissed the brother of the one she was lusting after not him.
Now it gets interesting. The twins want her either solo or shared.
So some really good make out scenes, drama, ex's, and a whole lot of kissing plus a little driving action. Don't get me wrong there is sex, some steamy scenes, and eye-rollin' drama, there are menage scenes and even one-on-one but the characters themselves make this story.
I was really liking this book, right away, with twin hot cowboys, Adam and Scott! But I wish this book would have ended around the 75% mark, or wrapped up with a quick epilogue, because the last 5 chapters felt like it was just trying to drag the story out instead of wrapping it up in a neat bow. I was concerned for Grace with the little preparation made for anal penetration, both times. I didn't mind the story going on around the sexy times but I think that is because they had some good sexy times. But if I'm being honest the ex boyfriend Jake kidnapping story was a little lackluster for me. I don't know if the author was trying to make him less hateable(?) by making him look dumb but he's still scum of the earth.
Tropes/Trigger Warnings: taboo contemporary/ MFM/ cowboys/ fastburn/ twins Characters: Grace and her twin cowboys Adam and Scott Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Favorite Quote/scene: "This kiss was smooth and searching. I melted against him, letting his kiss work into me like a warm, caramel whiskey instead of his brother's quick, hot, body-shot of tequila. Weird that I was sorting them by bar drinks, but whatever. It fit."
Over all thoughts on book and/or author: this was my first book by this author, I'll definitely be reading the rest of the Menage A Cowboy series. I loved the chemistry between the three. It was a fastburn with lots of heat. I definitely want to know more about swinging D ranch so I hope the other books are about that.
This is my first book by Jenny, and I really enjoyed it. Yes it is HAWT with sexy cowboys and some taboo things going on all over the place. Because there was a real life aspect to it, that is what made me really love this book and hope it all worked out with the main characters. I could put myself in the characters point of view and see the choices they had to make were some really hard ones, and easy ones with a hard ending (wink, wink).
I am glad this was a standalone for me, I was ready for a good hot steamy read, and this did the trick. Now I really need to go back and read the others before this one...
This was quite a light, short story. No great depth to the storyline or character development. It's perfect for traveling or a quick holiday read. It only got 3 stars from me as the 'action' scene was so lame. The villain was nothing but a wet blanket and from chapter 22, it felt like it was written by a hormonal teenager. The dialogue was nothing short of the school yard bullies and fights I witnessed as a kid. This put me off the characters and the rest of the story.
I scored this book as a freebie and sometimes you never know what you are going to get....I got a pleasant surprise. The story line kept me engaged. I loved the details, especially the opening seen with the horse, I was hooked because it felt so real.
The characters have just enough depth to make me step into their shoes for a great story, but not immersed in their life from beginning to end. The story is fairly light and fun. The menage relationship is hot and the sex is hotter.
I've read menage stories before that I have enjoyed, but this one didn't work for me. The drama about their type of relationship was handled badly in my opinion. The initial full "encounter" with one of the brothers came on the cusp of a fight with her father, it felt more like she was hiding from her problems then starting a relationship, it ruined the sexy moments and their relationship for me. It never felt right from that point on.
Grace is a think it through type of person, not a jump first, think about it later. Until she meets Scott Mitchell while with her father helping a laboring mare. He tells her sometimes you just have to jump in. The mare and foal are saved. It didn't hurt that when she saw Scott rip of his shirt to help the mare that he was so well-built! She's in lust at first sight. While cleaning up in the ranch house, she impulsively gives Scott a kiss....Only it's not Scott! It's his twin brother, Adam. Let the hi-jinks begin!
This is a great book for a lighthearted read. I got a real kick of the characters. There are some darker notes and some serious scenes. I recommend. :)
3 Stars This is a sweet story of twin brothers who run a ranch in TX meeting a vet student who they both fall for. The book was unconventional and sweet with a little drama mixed in. However, there was an early rise in action that leads to a climax before again having a rise in action. It felt like a roller coaster ride, and not a good one. Plus the story is in need of a really good copy editor.
I was supposed to be helping a mare birth a foal, but instead I was watching him. I’ve seen lots of cowboys while going with my Dad on his Veterinarian duties, but this guy was like a Greek God. My Dad shouts “Grace!” I guess I was staring too long. This is The Very Basic Beginning-to a steamy erotic romantic story I could not put down. I was given this and I voluntarily leave this review I loved this.... Smile
This had good spice. It had potential to have good plot, but it fell short. I found typos, and that always takes me out of the story. Also, my biggest pet peeve… When doing back door stuff, you need lube and prep! I hate when authors set in accurate expectations about what is necessary to make it safe and comfortable. The book was fine and I guess you could read it if you want to, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it.
I have only read a couple of triad love stories but so far they have all been amazing. The chemistry between the three is so good and yet romantic enough to keep you reading to the end. It is more than three people just having sex, they complete each other on so many levels. 💞
A fantastic book. I loved it. I encourage everyone to get this book. Please remember it is a Ménage story when you buy it. A well written story. I found it was a quick and easy read. Jenny Klaire did a fantastic job with this book. Plus, there's a set of twins in it. I don't do spoilers, but I will say this triad have problems which they have to work through.
I don't normally read this type of book but I do love Cowboys so I had to try it on . I wasn't disappointed not one bit ! Now to get down and sex boy does this book do that and more ! I'm still excited hehe . Ok I'm not sure how to write this review except to tell you if you don't at least try it you will be sorry . It's that good ! Now if you don't like two Cowboys with one lady it's not going to be your cup of tea . But I'll tell you now you don't know what your missing until you try it 😉😋! I'm not just talking about the book LMAO ! OK yeah I am dang don't I wish but anyways back to the book . Please give it a try as for me I'm on to book two in the series ! Thanks Jenny for such an awesome read !
Double the pleasure, double the fun! Ménage A Cowboy was a fun and sassy romance. There were lighthearted moments and some very steam and sexy moments. Great storyline and interesting characters woven throughout the pages. I think this is my first book by this author.
