Snow White and the Seven Dwarf Planets

She's lost everything, but now she's come to take it back...

Years ago, the Queen took everything from Snow White: her family, her home, and the throne that is rightfully hers. But the last straw came when the Queen killed the only person left in Snow’s life — the caretaker that helped her escape the palace as a young girl. Now, Snow wants more than revenge, she wants to take back what is hers.

Hunter’s life has been ruined by the Queen, too. Forced to do her dirty work or meet his untimely end, Hunter’s been sent to capture the rebellious Princess and bring her to the Queen on charges of treason — a crime punishable by public execution.

The task is harder than it seems. The Princess offers hope of a better future, one where Hunter wouldn’t have to fear for his life every day, but it’s clear that she can’t do this alone. Even clearer that she’s determined to try.

Together, they must journey through the galaxy, following the breadcrumbs left by Snow’s father to find the means to bring down the Queen for good. Snow knows she shouldn’t trust anyone — especially not the handsome man who mysteriously attached himself to her cause — but Hunter soothes her constant self-doubt and makes her believe she has a shot.

But whose side is he really on? The ruthless Queen with his life in her hands, or the stubborn inexperienced Princess without a plan?

Regardless, Snow knows if she wants to end the Queen’s reign of terror she’ll have to become the ruler her people need, with or without Hunter’s help.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarf Planets is over 60,000 words of sweet, clean romance, with NO explicit sexual or violent content, suitable for adult and YA audiences. NOTE: There is NO extra book in this file. The page count you see is completely Snow White ;) Enjoy!

Snow white was a happy princess until he mother died. Then her dad remarried and the new Queen is taking over. There was a coup and the Queen ended up in charge and Snow White was taken away by one of her father's faithful men and hidden safely. She has lost her home and her family. Now it is several years later. The man who had protected her so long is dead and Snow White is ready to take back what is hers. Her first step is to burn down the summer palace as a sign she is still alive.
Hunter is the Queen's huntsman. She gave him the job of capturing Snow White and bringing her to the Queen. He has been tracking Snow for a few weeks. He finally makes contact with Snow at the edges of the fire. He is drawn to Snow and hates the Queen. He would easily follow Snow and her cause if she had a good plan with a chance of succeeding and if the Queen didn't have a chip implanted in his heart that could kill him instantly. In a fit of rebellion, he helps Snow escape and flies her to a safe hideout. He is still reporting to the Queen but twisting the news so he can stay with Snow for longer.
Snow has a lot of problems. She is the most wanted person in the empire, she needs to find allies that the Queen hasn't eliminated and she doesn't know she has a spy following her every move. Snow just wants to do the right thing for her people. Hunter is trying to decide whether to follow his heart and Snow or be practical and obey the Queen. The Queen is threatening his life and his imprisoned father.
This is a good book with lots of twists and turns. All the characters had their weaknesses. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

What an amazing re-telling of Snow White! This is the latest of the J.M. Page's cleverly re-engineered traditional tales.
Here, we are not talking about helpless girl who cooks and cleans for seven dwarfs in exchange for their protection. Here, we are talking about a strong independent woman, who is a fighter and a leader of a rebellion, who can shoot and never miss her target. Charismatic leader who moves the masses. Hunter is an interesting character, and the chemistry between them is great. This story is a bit darker that the others, which should be expected, considering the original story. The evil queen is awful, horrible and even worse than the original.
The author did a fantastic job with the world building and the character development as well as the ever present special twist. Another great book for all ages.
This is the eight book in the series, but it reads perfectly well as a standalone. The Star-Crossed Tales books were published in the following order: The Prince and the Cyborg (Star-Crossed Tales #1, later re-published as sixth book The Little Cyborg), Beauty and the Space Beast (Star-Crossed Tales #2), Alien Frog Prince (Star-Crossed Tales, #3), Cinderstellar (Star-Crossed Tales #4), Lady and the Space Tramp (Star-Crossed Tales #5), The Little Cyborg (Star-Crossed Tales #6, which is the first story The Prince and The Cyborg re-published), Planet Neverland (Star-Crossed Tales #7) and Snow White and the Seven Dwarf Planets (Star-Crossed Tales #8). I hope there will be more.

I have liked and loved all of this author's books and I was really excited for this one to come out. Though as much as I hate to say it, this is definitely my least favorite of them. It just didn't keep my interest like the others have in the past. I had to stop reading at about 80% to charge my kindle, and after that I kind of just kept forgetting that I hadn't actually finished it yet, I had to keep reminding myself that it lay there, unfinished at the bottom of my kindle screen. I ended up reading three other books in the middle of starting and finishing this one. I mean I liked it okay, but it didn't seem like there was actually a whole lot going on most of the time. We follow these characters as they make this journey across the galaxy, and all the way they're just sort of stumbling through without any real plan or direction, they follow vague clues and not much else. The characters are only okay, Snow isn't much of a heroine, I wanted her to be decisive and capable, but instead she's just lost as to what to do most of the time. Hunter is probably the best part of the story, he's a good hero, strong, capable, everything that Snow is not. Snow has to rely on Hunter so much. And normally I wouldn't really have much of a problem with that if only she made a few solid choices or did something awesome once in while. But he does so much I sorta became convinced that if he put his mind to it and had the right information, he could have done all of this himself and ditched her at the first habitable world. It's a wonder they defeat the queen at all. And speaking of defeating the queen, that happens in about two pages near the end and was really anticlimactic. I mean it was so easy I wondered why the queen's closest guards hadn't been able take her down long ago and just ruled the empire themselves. Overall I really wanted to love this book, but it just wasn't as good as I wanted it to be or have come to expect from this author, I will still look forward to the next one and hope its more like the previous books.

J.M Page is a genius! I mean I read Cinderstella and fell in love with her writing and characters and went out and bought everything else she wrote. I love her. This is no different. The mix of our favorite fairytales and scifi is so great. I honestly never thought someone could tie them together so well but she does! I love that snow white not a silly little girl that needs dwarven protection. Instead shes a rebel. A leader. I loved it! Female power all the way! No damsel in distresses here. That's what i love about miss Page's stuff! The heroes and heroines have problems but they power through! I love it! Read and enjoy everyone!

Fun retelling of Snow White set in space, where Snow and the Hunter sent to capture her for the Queen end up on a quest travelling from planet to planet (although I don’t recall there being seven of them) to find a hidden artifact

There's some really amazing story-telling skills going on here. An absolute must read if you enjoy sci-fi romance and/or fairy tale retellings. But even if you think you don't, this book is worth a look for the wonderfully captivating characters, the unique plot and the adventure and suspense. At times funny, at times poignant this book hit all the right places. A delightful read.

I received a copy of this book and have chosen to leave a review.

A bit different

This one was a bit different as this one was more complicated than the other fairy tales. More uncertainty made it a bit more difficult tobread but also more rewarding once we got to the HEA. Definitely worth the read. Loved the characters and I am hoping there are more fairytales to he told in this universe now that I have read all thatvhave been published so far. Very good series. Loved them all

Over all I enjoyed the book from start to finish. It was a nice sci-fi twist on the old fairy tale of Snow White and Prince Charming. These characters were anything but stereotypical. It was a nice adventurous vacation from reality for a few hours. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of the book.

A fun and exciting retelling of Snow White. Snow still must defeat the evil queen. But who will be her Prince Charming? Lots of adventure and excitement. Love the little riddles she must solve along the way. Great story for all ages. If you like space romances then you will enjoy this story.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

I loved this re-telling of the classic Snow White. The basics is there but so much was added to make it J.M.'s own. It was fun to follow along with the journey and watch the romance grow. Snow White was no wilting flower. She knows how to take care of herself and even through her doubts she is already a great leader. Loved it!

This book was okay. I like the retelling, but I found myself skimming through several sections of the story. Some parents may be okay with this for their teens while others may not like the scene of drinking alien wine and lying/sleeping together, though nothing happened. This story did not hold my attention like the others. 2.5-3 stars

The story is just as dorky at the title is. But there is a sweet simple charm in the way the story is told. Aimed at a younger YA reader, I thinks this book accomplishes its purpose. A princess sweeping through space with a hunky huntsman to regain her throne. We are assured that they do live happily ever after. Next!

I found Hunter to be an interestingly conflicted character. I appreciate his internal struggles to balance his orders with his desire for revolution and his unexpected love for Snow and his efforts to let right prevail. While not completely true to the classic fairy tale, this was a worthy retelling, more thriller than romance.

Close enough to recognize and different enough to entertain!

This is simply fun😁 The characters are well defined and the plot is intriguing. I especially like the fact that the tension between the main characters isn't over done.

That did not disappoint! I love the dynamic of the main characters! I really can't say enough of the clever way the author has rewritten the classic fairytales. I can't wait to see what comes next!
