On day two, my car breaks down, leaving me stranded.

I’m rescued by none other than my high school crush. He's all grown up, drives a brand new Landrover, and offers to take me on the roadtrip himself.

I agree, but only because I see no other option.

I love reading the books in the Omega Mu Alpha Brothers series & hope that there are a lot more brothers to go! I love the way that Kimberly Loth writes! She really draws you into the characters' lives & emotions.

Liz has dreamed of a camping trip along the Pacific Coast for years & is supposed to make the trip with her soon-to-be fiancé. When Tanner bails on the trip in order to work on building houses in Honduras, she decides to make the trip by herself. Unfortunately, her old Taurus has others ideas. Just when she thinks that her trip is over, a rich high school classmate saves the day.

Adam Winslow is coming off a broken engagement from his father's choice of the perfect wife. He decides to go with Liz on her trip to try to decide what to do next. Along the way, both Liz & Adam start to examine their lives and reams for the future and start to realize that they have feelings for each other.

The books in this series are just wonderful! So sweet, so emotional, and I love the addition of the Dobermans! Every time I read another of the Omega Mu Alpha books, I am reminded of watching old B & W movies with actors like Cary Grant & Doris Day. There is always a misunderstanding along the way & always a HEA. I love reading these books & I love Kimberly Loth as an author!

This is book 5 in the Omega Mu Alpha Brothers series and it follows Adam Winslow.

It was a yet another sweet and quick read from Kimberly Loth.

Adam was one of the characters that I was really excited to read about. From his mention in the previous book (book 4, Monkeys and Mayhem) I thought he was some snobby rich guy. And that was one of the reasons I wanted to read this book. Because I wanted to see how he transformed and found the love of his life.

The thing I loved about the book is the setting. The main characters were on a roadtrip. Everything was so picturesque. It made me want to go to a beach.

Another thing was, the book didn't contain much drama. I don't know if that's a good thing. Maybe yes, if you want a simple read.

All in all, I'm really happy that this might be a 10 book series as there are 10 frat brothers ;)

Title: Roadtrips & Romance
Author: Kimberly Loth
Genre: Adult, Romance
Format: Ebook - ARC
Pages: 171
Rating: 5
Heat: 2

Thoughts: Talk about a sweet romance!! Adam is the quintessential book boyfriend, rich yet charitable, strong yet sweet, and the best part… He’s willing to listen and learn. I think that right there is what got me to fall for him. He may not understand but he’s willing to try, and that’s a huge turn on for me. Granted, I didn’t quite understand Liz and her never been kissed and won’t do it until there’s a ring thing either. There was some logic to it but it still just seemed weird to me. But that’s the thing with people; we all have different experiences and reasoning’s behind our decisions or lack thereof. The only real thing that surprised me was Tanner, I was actually expecting it to come out that he got another girl pregnant or something. Of course that’s throwing my experiences into it, I mean, how many guys will stay in a relationship for 5 years with no kissing and definitely no sex? None that I can think of, but then Tanner wasn’t really a jerk, he was selfish to an extent by not supporting Liz and her dreams.

Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.

I have read all 5 books in the Omega Mu Alpha Brothers Series. They are all terrific! Kimberly Loth has a way with words that makes you feel as if you are part of the story. She is one of my one-click authors. I highly recommend reading all of her books.

Adam and Liz are a sweet couple. They come from totally different backgrounds but their core values are the same. I loved the way Adam caused Liz to re-evaluate her life without ever pushing or criticizing her in any way. All he did was support her decisions and show her she was special. What a wonderful way to build a relationship. Adam is a dream of a boyfriend.

I wish Nona had played a bigger role. In previous books, the other frat brothers play a small part. I missed not catching up with them in this book.

Grab your copy of this fabulous book today. Buy the entire series. You'll fall in love with all of the Omega Mu Alpha Brothers.

Best one yet!

I really enjoyed the premise behind this one. Our heroine is in a long term relationship that may not be the best for her anymore but is going with the momentum and our hero has been living his life to please his family. They cause each other to reexamine their way they have been living their lives and what they want out of it. This one also had the least amount frustrating miscommunication or misinterpretation. I did get a little hung up on the heroine's "quirk" as I found it unrealistic, but otherwise a really solid romance.

This book was quite a surprise to me. It was an easy read, simply the story of two people on a road trip vacation that would have them understanding their own needs and the true meaning of love. It flows easily, without the need of unnecessary angst or drama. Enjoyed reading Adam & Liz's story, now I need to start at book 1 and get to know everyone else in this group.

Totally recommend if you enjoy beautiful romantic stories.

Adam is the richest of his college frat brothers, but also has some of the most stipulations placed on him by his father. Nona's such an intelligent and sweet dog and it's like she knew exactly what her "dad" needed when she ran up to Liz on the beach at the beginning of the book. Liz is stubborn, but she is solid and smart. I loved this book and couldn't put it down once I started it. I love this series, it is just so romantic and sweet. These guys may be super rich, but they are charming, down to earth and everything you want. An excellent read. I volunteered to read this book.

When her car broke down, Liz thought her dream trip was over. Never did she think how much her life would change when she gained help and a traveling companion in the form of Adam Winslow. Traveling up the west coast, Liz begins to question whether the path she has chosen is the one she wants or a new life with Adam. I enjoyed following Adam and Liz's story as they both learn what they want for the future. As always Kimberly has written a wonderful story, and I look forward to her next book.

Another epic romance

Although this book is part of a series, all of the books so far are great on their own and in any order without really any spoilers. This story, as the title suggests, takes place on the road. Liz and Adam meet up by chance and they hit the road on an amazing trip that changes their lives. I don't know what else to say without giving everything away, but I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the series.

I had high hopes for Roadtrips and Romance, but unfortunately, it fell flat for me in so many ways. First off, the insta-love was way too much. The instant heart eyes Adam felt for Liz felt forced and unrealistic, and I couldn't buy into it at all. Add to that the 'girl with a boyfriend' trope, which is something I’ve never been a fan of. She also had the innocent, albeit naive, belief that they could just be friends while he was clearly interested in sleeping with her the entire time. It was frustrating to watch her ignore what was so obvious.

And let's talk about the rich man swooping in and throwing money at problems to make her swoon—I'm sorry, but I’ve never enjoyed that dynamic. It just felt shallow, and there was no real emotional connection that made me root for the couple. Plus, the constant comparison to her boyfriend was tiresome. If you're that unhappy in a relationship, maybe just... leave?

The miscommunication trope here was equally infuriating. And don’t even get me started on the fact that she found out he was proposing through social media! How romantic. Then she was being intentionally dense about the whole thing, which made it impossible for me to sympathize with her.

Oh, and for the record—I’m part of the team that believes Ross was in the wrong in the 'we were on a break' argument. So, I’m definitely not giving her a pass for 'being on a break' with her boyfriend before really doing anything with Adam.

Overall, this book just wasn't for me.

I really enjoyed this book by Kimmy Loth! I don’t often read books that aren’t *ahem* spicy 👀 but when I do I remember the romance books that I started out reading, the ones without any sex scenes. The clean and fun romances. This books is very much so that! It’s clean and fun and sweet and both characters are so adorable.

Though the book is without sex scenes it’s spicy in other way. The chemistry the two main characters have is off the charts.

This book has:
Love triangle (kind of)
He falls first
Sunshine Romance
Roadtrips
He spoils her

Adam is looking for a change when he sees Liz after all these years. When he learns that her vacation is in danger he volunteers his car and asks if he can join. He may have had a crush on Liz in high school but this is a chance for him ti try something new and make his own choices. They enjoy spending time together from the beginning and that blossoms into a friendship that neither of them were expecting.

Liz has waited her whole life and saved for years to take this roadtrip vacation. Her “fiancée” bails on her which she tells herself is okay. Then her car dies and it looks like her vacation isn’t going to happen. Until… she meets Adam and he offers to drive in exchange for tagging along. She waffles because… she has a boyfriend but then decides that if this is the only way she gets her vacation… she’ll take it.

Along the way… through Adam spoiling her, doing things for her just because he knows they’ll make her happy, and asking questions about her relationship… she starts the question her feelings for her fiancée. It doesn’t help that what her fiancée wants and what she wants don’t align in the slightest.

In the end… she never wastes a kiss… ❣️

I loved reading about Adam and Liz. It's been too long since I got to read about the Omega Mu Alpha Brothers. I've really missed them. This series is so sweet and every time I read another book about another brother I can't help but think its the sweetest yet. I love how Kim writes. Everything is so smooth and it all flows so well you don't ever realize you've finished the book in a single setting with no breaks until you read the end. I really read this entire story all at once and I was so lost into the sweetness that I didn't realize how much I had read until the last page. Seeing the end made me really sad because this word is so wonderful. Adam may have come off as a rich playboy, but the sweet things he does for Liz and the time and care he actually puts into getting to know someone shows how sweet he is. Poor Liz dealing with a jerk of a guy who says he loves her but isn't willing to actually work to make is relationship as amazing as it could be just made the book even better. I love how it all worked out and how everything went.

Synopsis: When her dream road trip gets derailed, a schoolmate from years before appears and saves the day! Now she’s road tripping with a millionaire instead of her boyfriend of 5 years who skipped out on going with her in favor of charity work in Honduras. But things become tricky when her bf finds out she’s road tripping with another man and that said man still has feelings for her…

My Review: Despite all the miscommunication and frustrating lack of discussing feelings, I still absolutely loved this story!! I was rooting for these two from the start of their trip! And I’m sorry, but it should’ve been clear to her long before this, that her boyfriend was not the right guy for her. Ugh. So many signs that they wouldn’t be very compatible, but so frustrating to see how she clung to that relationship anyway. But her rich guy was the sweetest and I’m so glad they realized how right they were for each other, despite the angsty path it took to get there! - Spice: 0.5/5

- Childhood crush
- Forced proximity
- Millionaire MMC
- Mechanic FMC
- Camping
- Road trip

I did the audiobook of this and I’m curious if the narration was autogenerated and not an actual person. The cadence of the dialogue wasn’t natural and parts were very robotic in how they were portrayed.

I enjoyed this book, it was a nice light hearted romance. However, I really can’t stand when authors create plot, dynamic, and chaos all by having the characters never say what they really mean which was the base of half the book. I really didn’t like Tanner, and Liz needed to stand up for herself instead of just letting him walk all over her and treat her horribly. Also Tanner didn’t deserve a kiss, I had to pause the book and scream for a minute when that happened because all he deserved was for her to turn around walk away and never look back. I thought it was not only predictable but a cheap plot tactic just to push Liz and Adam apart. Honestly all the issues could’ve been resolved had everyone just been honest and communicated and had Liz stood up for herself sooner.

Great book about second chances it is part of the Omega Mu Alpha Brothers series. I want to read the other books in this series . I enjoyed the way these two interacted , this is about Liz Jackson , Adam Winslow and his dog Nona and the month camping trip they take as friends so that they can come to gripes with what is happening and going to happen with their lives . Adam has to decide what he wants to do after he breaks up with his fiancee and Liz is taking this trip as a tribute to her mother before she starts her all women 's body shop. I recommend this book as I enjoyed it very much. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

I honestly forgot I read this book until I saw it was due to return in 3 days. I had to read the last chapter again to remember what it was about. It clearly didn't stick with me. She's got a roadtrip planned with her boyfriend who bales last minute, then her car breaks down. He's fresh off a break up, I think? I forget, anyway her car breaks down, then she meets him on a beach, they went to high school together, he decided to join her on the roadtrip. He's a millionaire, so naturally he buys a brand new car and camping gear for the trip. They fall in love, the end. I didn't hate it, wouldn't recommend.

What a great book. I loved every page of it. I felt Liz's emotions as well as Adam's. These characters and the plot were well developed.

I laughed, stressed and felt all the other emotions that Liz was feeling. I was cheering her on and I felt that I was with her on the road-trip. Both Liz and Adam were trying to find their own way in life and this road-trip helped them both find out what they really wanted in life.

This is great read for on the beach, by the pool or just anywhere. It is a clean, wholesome romance filled with emotions and happiness.

I just love this series and I especially loved this book. The main characters, Adam and Liz were well written and very real. The plot was different and there was so much subtle emotional undercurrent that the pages fairly sizzle! I enjoyed seeing some of the sights with them. I was so caught up in their new, blossoming romance that I was blindsided by the change in dynamic when her ‘fiancé’ showed up out of the blue. What a twist of events. At any rate, there was never a dull moment and I was kept guessing until the end as to the outcome. I MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book.

Independent female

Story has a strong independent female which is a nice change. The male protagonist realizes that he’s been drifting through life even though he’s been earning large sums of money. That alone makes for a different storyline. Add that these two used to know each other in high school on the opposite ends of the social spectrum and another layer of the storyline has been added. It’s a cute story that deals with the topics decently. An enjoyable read.

These books, in this series, are amazing romances. They are truly romances and not spicy at all, it is about the fall of true love. [What we all want true love to be] So far each of these have been my "favorite" of the series, I can't pick a favorite because they are all great! And none of them maKe me roll my eyes and think ... unrealistic, which is beyond fantastic. Highly recommend this series!

Snow (Liz) and Adam end up together on a month-long camping trip up the west coast when his dog Nona finds her crying on a beach; her car had broken down and she was going to have to cancel her trip. Adam saves the day...and then some. The only real problem is Luz's long-term boyfriend/almost fiancé...who was supposed to have been on the trip with her. But what's an absent boyfriend to a man in love? And what's with a woman like Snow waiting to kiss a man until engagement?! ;)

I love the way this story progresses and that Luz takes time to think and reassess her relationship with her bf. She is headed on a roadtrip she's been dreaming of for a long time. In comes Adam to save the day, he buys a brand new car and all the camping equipment to join her for her trip when her car died. He needs a break, she needs help. The grow close and things change. She realises she isn't getting what she needs from her bf and Adam offers her the world. She realises what she needs.

This was the first book from the series that I read. I enjoyed it. Only took me a few hours to complete. The time frame was the only thing that threw me off. They kept referencing a “couple of weeks.” Half way through the book and I forgot the trip was only a month long. Getting engaged after a month seems rushed. However, it felt right for the way this story. I was kind of expecting a little more drama when it came to her relationship with Tanner. Overall, a cute, simple, and easy read.

Finally a bet that doesn’t involve tricking the Mc.

Other thoughts:
Hes in love with her but can’t even call her by her real name, and she has no problem being direct about everything else but won’t just say she wants him to call her by her real name?

“Flipping excited” from a mechanic raised by a mechanic? Yeah, right.

I greatly dislike the miscommunication trope, but it honestly made sense in this book.

This was such a cute adventurous romance.
Liz is such a sweet girl, she made 3 promises to her mother, and they shaped her future in more ways than she imagined.
Adam is a charming & charismatic guy, he has money, an adorable dog, & an age old crush.
Their adventures & blooming friendship was full of joy, laughs, banter, awkward moments, and memories for a lifetime & falling in love.
This was such a wonderful, swoony romance.

A fun story of two unlikely people who go on a road trip. Sparks fly but Liz is already taken. Though her boyfriend seems to care more about his charity work. But if Adam can get Liz to let him give her her first kiss he may be able to win her over. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Liz the virgin with dreams.
Adam, the billionaire who is unhappy.
It takes a high school crush stranded, a road trip up the coast, a boyfriend who's missing, and a man trying to find himself.
Long story short, as much as I liked Adam, and Liz, she was strong yet, something about her just made me not like her as much. Idk. This closed door story was good.

A quick and easy read. It’s very predictable as stories go but I liked it, it felt like a Hallmark feel good movie and would be something I’d definitely watch.
The only reason not to give 5 stars was the predictably and I didn’t fall in love with the characters, I liked them just didn’t love them.
Recommend as a fun summer read

So so cute! I’m obsessed with Liz and Adam. I hated the basically cheating that was going on but it ended well. There were some typos I found while reading that were a bit distracting but I loved the chemistry between Adam and Liz so much I didn’t really care. This was such a fun quick read. I definitely want to read the other books now.
