Malina MacGregor is more than just a delicate flower in need of manly protection, but you wouldn’t know it by the slew of male family members who show up anytime she tries to go on a date. Sure, she’s made some poor choices in men in the past—like the demon she mistakenly hooked up with in Las Vegas years ago. But that was then, and this is now, and she more than made up for that mistake.
Darragh “Dar” Lahey may be a luck demon, but his luck ran out the night he met the temptress—Malina. Now he’s back, and he has an axe to grind. Malina needs to pay for what she did to him, and the supernatural attacks he’s firing at her magickal family is just the beginning. There is only one hitch in his plans for revenge—even after all this time the stubborn woman can still make his heart ache, and his body burn with need.

Malina McGregor the only female in the family was sent away from Scotland to England when she was just a babe to avoid being burned during the witch hunts. She is a wild child though and her brother Niall the hunter is always cleaning up after her. In the wild 60's she met and fell in love with a luck demon, but lo and behold Niall made an appearance and convinced her that Dar was evil and the outcome will forever change her life.
Dar is a Luck Demi-Demon one of the few not evil demons, in the 60's he really spread his luck around in Vegas, even hung out with the Rat Pack. He met and fell in love with Malina even married her and his honeymoon was a pit to hell. Now decades later he is back with a vengeance, but is he really?
The antics of the McGregor's, not to mention the ghosts will have you rolling and crying from laughing so much...I highly recommend this book for a roaring good time!
Dar and Malina were in love but didn't tell each other about their respective heritages. When Niall tells her that Dar is a demon she makes him prove it. He does and she does something that breaks her heart. Dar comes after her sixty years later. He gives ghosts, leprechauns and other magical beings good luck. They cause chaos. Malina loves Dar still but thinks he is evil. I love how Uncle Raibeart takes Niall to task for thinking all demons are evil. Uncle Raibeart is my favorite character in this series. Michelle M. Pillow knows how to write magical books that draws readers in.

I really enjoyed this story. It says a lot about Malina and how she got to be how she was. Her family treat her like a little flower in need of protection, but she isn't. However, when she did something on her own, it ended up in tragedy. Years later her problem came back to exact revenge - starting with her home. It was taken over by ghosts, goblins fairies and leprechauns and turned into a complete disaster - and that was just the beginning.
Malina MacGregor wakes to a feeling that things are out of balance one morning. Form that moment on her luck changes and everything in her and her clans life and home becomes chaotic and dangerous. Dar her ex is back for revenge. Can these two see past their past and have a future before one of them ends up dead. Love this story Malina's family are hilarious and her Uncle is pure gold.

Wow, there is so much going on in this story! It’s got drama, it’s got betrayal, it’s got heartbreak but it’s also got fun, mischief and love. If you haven’t read the first three books I recommend you start there cause you really will be missing out.
Another great story in a wonderful series. I enjoyed this story and I loved the humor and crazy that is this family. I recommend for anyone that enjoys a great paranormal romance! Happy Reading!

I LOVED this book! The only bad part was how sad I was when it was over. I listened to the audiobook. This is one of the best narrators. The whole thing was so magical. I loved all the characters and couldn’t get enough of the sexy accents. Michelle Pillow has one of the best authors!
Malians book was worth the wait and talk about fiery as the only daughter in this hilarious magical family, any guy who tried to be Malians anything was always going to find trouble...lol
No all was wrong to Malina on her new husband. Didn't even give him a chance. So he was killed and thrown in help. He's a luck demon. Neither told each other who they really were but they did fall in love. It took 50 yrs but he's back and giving them bad luck. He takes her and they finally talk and might start trusting one another, he help get rid of the ghost and what not that destroyed their house and a couple of demons.
Malina is a MacGregor warlock who has never felt like she fits in with her family. She was born during the witch hunt times with a birthmark an her rear that would definitely get her labeled as a witch. He family sent her to England to keep her save but the aunt traveling with her was killed protecting her as a baby. Even a couple of hundred years later, she is more comfortable partying with strangers than living with her family. In the 1960, she was partying in Vegas when she met Dar. She fell in love with him and wanted to make a life with him but she never revealed that she was a warlock to him. Then her brother came and told Malina that Dar was a demon and was evil. He told her Dar had to be destroyed. At first Malina fought himabout it but then she saw him do things that ended up in multiple deaths and injuries. She helped her brother exorcise him and them asked her brother to lock up her memories.
Dar was a luck demonand he lived on all types of luck. Vegas was the perfect place for him to live. When he met Malina, it was love at first sight even though he never told her what he was. When Malina and her brother exorcised him, he spent years recovering and planning his revenge. It is now the present and he has found one of the MacGregor homes in the US. Blessing some supernatural creatures with luck allows them to break the protections on the MacGregor home. Dar has a grand time cursing the MacGregor's luck and chases them from his house. He is happy in their problems until he runs into Malina again. He slowly starts to realize that this isn't about getting his revenge on her. It was just an excuse to get close to her again. Could he actually still love her?

Malina MacGregor has been labeled as a screw-up all of her adult life, especially by her brother Niall, who has to keep rescuing her time after time, which is a lot of saves since she is over 300 years old. Her escapades with the wrong men are legendary to say the least. When she goes to Las Vegas in the 1960’s she thought she finally had it figured out, until Niall showed up and informed her lover was a demon. He contains Dar the demon and takes him and Malina into the desert where he kills him and buries him. He then takes Malina home and make her promise never to tell anyone what happened. Fast forward several decades and suddenly their house is taken over by ghosts, goblins and a few other “things” including leprechauns. No one can figure out what is going on, when Malina suddenly has a heart attack and ends up in the hospital. She swears she is hearing a voice from the past, but that can be because Dar is dead, isn’t he? When he finally appears before her and she learns he isn’t really dead, she doesn’t know what to think or do. Turns out he isn’t a full demon but a luck semi-demon. He came back to extract revenge on her and her family. In the mean time, the little prank he has played on their house is suddenly out of control and he can’t figure out why.
This is the funniest book about the crazy MacGregors. I laughed so hard. They are so crazy and lovable at the same time. Don’t start reading this one until you have time to read the whole thing. You won’t be able to put it down!

Cauldrons and Confessions is Malina MacGregor's story. Malina met Darragh "Dar" Lahey in Las Vegas during the 1960's. Malina has been a misfit in the the MacGregor household since she was sent away as a babe to be raise in England during the witch hunt in Scotland around the Medieval Age. She spoke with an English accent., ridiculed by her brothers and cousins, and always been rescued by them for her poor decisions.
It is no wondered that Malina married Dar based on their attraction to each other. They have never knew each other so when it came to trust, Malina trusted her brother, Niall over Dar and destroyed her marriage to Dar.
Several decades later, Dar has escaped Hell and wanted retribution in-kind to his wife, Malina.
During the chaos, Malina and Dar found each other again. It is difficult to blame Malina for not trusting Dar and made quick assumption about Dar. Just because Dar is a Luck Demon doesn't mean he is a demon.
The MacGregor men are known for their particle jokes and punks. It is no wonder that Malina is a bit messed up. She has been trying to fit in but the teasing of her being an English rose got her riled up to do the craziness things that would require her brothers and cousins to rescued her and cleaned up her messes.
This story is about second chances. I'm glad that Malina and Dar was given a second chance and to confront their misconception of each other.
The narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo is great as usually. I love the way he humanized Dar.
This is probably the best book in Warlocks MacGregor series so far.

Gosh, you have to love Malina. I honestly think that she has been very hard done by. She was sent away while very young from the family for centuries and yet they expect her to act as though she had been brought up with all strict traditions, understandings and and ways of those who were deeply ensconced and surrounded by that same family the whole time. The sacrifices that allowed her to survive are never forgotten and the guilt, which is not her fault at all, has been something she has lived with ever since. Her brother Niall calls her selfish and heartless and yet she has more heart than they ever realise. Knowing what things there are in the world and even given the life she has been she longs to see the good in others. She prefers to believe in optimism and hope rather than their opposites. Niall is used to railroading people and he does just that when he finds Malinda and her latest, in his mind, mistake Dar. Dar is a good luck demon and he is definitely down on his luck the evening that he meets Niall. He is put in the boot/trunk of a car and when the lid is opened he is bound, basically burnt alive and sent to hell. He has had to restore himself to the body that he once had and now he is back to get revenge and answer the burning, no pun intended, question that now rules his life... why did Malinda do this to him?
Back in the ’60’s, Malina MacGregor was a bit wild. During a stay in Los Vegas, she met a luck demon. Dar was suave and charming. When Niall found Malina, it appeared that Dar had spurred a shooting in a casino. Niall convinced Malina Dar, as all demons, was evil, so he killed him and burned and buried his body. Apparently, demons are a bit harder than that to kill permanently. Sixty years have passed and Dar is back for revenge. The havoc he creates is laugh-out-loud funny and a bit scary. His effect on Malina puts her in danger. This is a chaotic second chance story. It has secrets, betrayal, demons, ghosts and other nasty paranormal creatures, classic MacGregor mischief. The characters are entertaining, funny, and as always protective of the family. It might not be easy for Malina and Dar to move beyond their past. The Warlocks MacGregor have to adjust to a demon in the family and clean up the mess (that’s putting it mildly) left by their paranormal visitors. Another interesting addition to the series. Michael Ferraluolo’s narration is excellent. I loved his voices in this one. I received a free copy of this audiobook and voluntarily reviewed it.
Despite being the fourth book in the Warlocks MacGregor series, Cauldrons and Confessions is the first I’ve read of the MacGregor books. Wow, what I was missing! The MacGregors are certainly a distinctive bunch! I adored the humor of the book – not slapstick humor, though there was a touch of that, but more tongue in cheek and subtle situational humor, as well as snappy dialogue and great familial relationships and interactions. It took a bit for the romantic relationship to really come into the forefront of the story, but no where along the way is the tale anything less than thoroughly entertaining. As lighthearted as the story is in a lot of ways, Warlock Malina and Luck Demon Dar have a lot to work through, and their journey to their HEA is emotional as well as entertaining. There were a lot of mentions of other couples, presumably from the first three books in the series, as well as a lot of unmatched-as-yet MacGregors, so there’s a lot I’m looking forward to enjoying in this series.

The MacGregor’s are back in this fun, fast paced, wicked novella and this time its Malina’s story!
Malina and Dar a luck demon had history and they hadn’t seen each other for years. Dar was out for revenge against the whole family but especially Malina and Niall. They both had a hand in his disappearance years ago.
Ooh what fun he was going to have getting his revenge now he’d found her and found where they live! Every page is full of fun and witty moments with the family who were at home it had me laughing out loud, Uncle Railbeart is a hoot!
Another page turner with the family escapades, squabbles, passion and best of all love! So many twists and turns within their story it keeps you glued to the pages.
I really do love this series, it keeps me smiling and the fun of each romance within the family gives me a warm and happy feeling.
I can’t wait for Niall’s story, he’s such a stand out character and quite serious, he deserves his own happy ending. Such an amazing author!
I enjoyed Malina and Dar’s fated mates, warlock-Demi-demon, second chance romance with a side of poltergeists. Malina is a warlock whose large clan family recently moved to the small town of Green Vallis. In 1960 she was involved with Dar, a luck demon who she believed helped set up a mass shooting at a casino. As a result, Malina and her brother, Niall, killed Dar and sent him to hell. Now Dar’s back for revenge and unleashes all the bad luck and supernatural pests on Malina and her family. But things are not always what they seem and their attraction revs right back up. As always, I love the insanity, hilarity and chaos that is the MacGregors. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline as shown through sweet moments, steam, laugh out loud moments, messy families, painful pasts, surprises, plot twists, supernatural creatures, magic, and all the love. I am loving the MacGregor clan and can’t wait to read more in this series.
Here we are with another wonderful tale in the amazing world of the Warlocks MacGregor! I absolutely love these books so much. Malina McGregor has always been a little bit different from her brothers after being sent away from Scotland as a baby to England during the witch trials. Niall has pulled her out of more than one crazy situation she has gotten herself into and helped her to forget some of it so she could get through it all and not remember what she didn't want to. Back in the 60s he thought he helped her get rid of Dar (a Luck Demi-Demon who isn't evil, even though they thought he was) after she had a wild fling with him in Vegas and some bad things happened. But her ex is back and things she had hidden away are now out for everyone to see. This family never fails to make me laugh out loud. They are a wild bunch who will have each other's backs no matter what. Dar wants revenge on Niall and Malina for what they did to him. Will they admit what they really feel for each other or will Niall get rid of Dar once and for all?
Its a story with potential, but unfortunately I don;t think it will quite come out. Malina comes from a family of witches and warlocks. About 60 years ago she met a demon in Las Vegas, but the meeting didnt quite go well and her brother Niall was forced to kill the demon Dar. Today Malina lives with her family in Wisconsin. Strange things have been happening lately. It turns out that Dar hadnt died and he’s now come back for revenge. Only, do they both know what really happened then? I like the concept, but the execution is not successful in this story. It&s messy, unclear, too many characters running around. Not a clear line, a lot of repetition, the characters do not come to life, the romance is not convincing. Im sorry, because I always really enjoy writing this writer, and I think the idea for the story is good, it had the potential to be a fun entertaining story.

While this author has been around for a while, I've only recently started reading her books. I've thoroughly enjoyed the Intergalactic Dating Agency series as well as the Space Lords series. I had hoped to continue that streak. Unfortunately, I was not wild about this book in a series about a long-living Scottish warlock family. It just didn't hit the solid notes for me as the other series’ books did. I kept plowing along for a while, but it just didn't do it for me at all. It was silly at times, but not funny. And I never did warm up to the heroine as she seemed a bit more of a basket case than I like to read about. The flashbacks to 1960s Vegas, where she and the hero met, left me cold... and didn't make me care enough to keep reading when I didn't like the heroine to begin with. I ended up DNFing the book after reading about a third of it.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
I so enjoy this series and added bonus with audiobook is get to listen in lovely Scottish brogue with the fun loving, mischievous and always entertaining MacGregor clan of warlocks. On this occasion we are entertained with the only daughter, Malina, and her romantic magical tale of finding her true love/mate, Darragh and as with all these books in this series love does not follow a straight forward path or pick a obvious partner in love and life. Each book is a stand alone fun escapade into a different clan member's romantic entanglement but the joy of the series is all the collection and ensemble of characters that make up the whole clan, Uncle Raibeart is by far my favourite character and love how he is in all books. Shout out to the narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo, in audiobook format as he does a great job and keeps pace with this humourous enjoyment and entertainment of these books.

Confession: anything with a demon I'm in. And this one had a luck demon with a bad boy edge I just loved. Not to mention my favorite family, The MacGregors. Malina feels like an outcast in her family. She feels like they blame her for how they had to fight for her. The only thing they blame her for is bad decisions. They believe Dar, the luck demon and also her ex, is one of them. So much that they had to save her from him. Well he's back and he's not happy about how things went down. Soon truths are exposed and everything isn't how it seems. But they can't have a happily ever after when there is someone else after them. This is a hilarious addition to the series. But this book had more drama and heart and soul. I felt for both Malina and Dar. This narrator, as usual, took us deep into the story. I felt like I was personally witnessing it all unfold.
I received a copy from Booksprout; this is my honest review. -Be aware that when you marry someone you also marry the family too. -Wow, be careful who you marry too. That was dangerous and petty. Good way to get rid of an undesirable husband. Bring your brother; he'll hide the body... -Still. A lot of fun, a lot of excitement, and a lot of bad days for many people around. -Uncle Raibeart is a hoot and I loved him. Reminds me of a professor I had who could be funny and serious the next moment. He knows how to play his cards. -Malina and Dar appear more like young adults than centuries-old paranormals. Wishy-washy and unable to make up their mind. I can totally get Malina being exasperated with the males in her family as my brothers were the same with me and wannabe BF - but they didn't kill anyone I'm pretty sure ;)
A fun premise with quirky characters; Warlock Malina and Luck Demon Dar fell in love years ago, but Malina acted very poorly when she found out Dar was a demon. With the help of her close-minded brother, Malina chose to kill Dar instead of believing how she felt; it turns out she jumped to the wrong conclusions and was an idiot. Luckily, Dar made it out of the Underworld, but unfortunately for Malina, he is rightfully ticked about what Malina did to him. Dar sets out to get revenge on Malina and her family; good thing Dar isn’t completely out for blood. Interesting scenarios; goblins, leprechauns and such make for a fun story. Things take a little too long to progress in the romance department, but there’s sweet moments. Malina isn’t the greatest; let’s her family rule too much, but she’s okay. Dar is a sweetie. Enjoyed the read!
Another installment on the McGregor clan of warlocks. Malina falls for a demon, Dar and when she thinks he killed people, one of her brothers sends him to hell. When he returns decades later for revenge, something else happens and Malina is left in a mortal hospital ill. Dar never wanted Malina hurt just revenge. He finally confronts her on what she and her brother did and learned the truth and that she truly loved him. Other malicious demons discover the powerful property of the McGregors and wreck havoc and Dar along with Mealina to destroy them. Wonderful characters. Entertaining. Whimsical. Sexy demons. Handsome and beautiful warlocks. Some steam. Lots of drama. Loved!! Narrator did an awesome job and his Scottish accent sounded sexy.

This is a non-spoiler review. I'm enjoying this series, I love all the characters and have always had a soft spot for Malina, who is very much misunderstood and has a lot to contend with being the only girl. I enjoyed the flashbacks to a younger Malina which made her character even more endearing. I adore the wacky situations this family always seems to be in but do feel for the outsiders who have to contend with them.
The author crammed a lot into this story with everything happening thick and fast. I love the story but I have to say my favourite characters are Malina, Dar, Niall, and Charlotte.
The story is a lot of fun for fans of magic, sexy men in kilts, humour and high jinx as well as steamy sex.
The narration by Michael Ferraiuolo is well done, I love his sexy Scottish accent.
Dar wants revenge for what happened 60 years ago. Malina doesn't remember it, thanks to Niall. Dar gives good luck to ghosts, goblins, and other things, and then sets them to haunt and infest the MacGregor mansion.
The story was interesting, but the romance just wasn't there. I recognize they're picking up from 60 years ago, but I didn't get the feels of anticipating, excitement, etc. Also, I didn't laugh at pranks and jokes as much in this one. It's a good story, just not as much fun as the others in the series. Plus, we don't see Erik and Lydia, Iain and Jane, or Fergus and Donna.
Stand alone HEA, with references to previous books.
Contains sex scenes, swear words, and violence (fist fight, brawl, destruction of property).
You will enjoy this book that will keep you laughing. Malina MacGregor is the only female of the MacGregor cousins and was not raised with the clan. She was sent away to keep her safe during the time of the witch hunts. She had made mistakes along the way, so the family acts as if she is inexperienced and needing their smothering protection.
One of the mistakes was falling for the Luck Demon Darragh “Dar” Lahey in Las Vegas. He fell in love with her a long time ago, and she tried to kill him. He wants revenge, starting with her family. But he still loves her. Will he still demand justice for her betrayal? Or will the two of them get back together somehow?
The MacGregor clan is about to be ghosted as Dar returns for a little revenge against the only female cousin, Malina. Dar and Malina met sixty years ago in Vegas, where miscommunication and related issues separately them, especially after she tried to kill him. A lot of answers come out as to why she was sent away at an early age and why they are so protective of her now, not giving her a chance to prove her strength and power. The characters are terrific, with intense feelings and surprise responses that make you laugh. The storyline charges in with twists and drama. Loved the ending and can not wait for more of this group.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The McGregor clan are gifted warlocks. Malina is a bit wild and rebellious, she thinks for herself, and acts on impulse. In the 1960s, she met and married Dar, who happens to be a luck demon. Her brother Niall, unaware of the marriage, convinces Malina that Dar is bad, and banished him to hell. Well, hell could not hold him, and Dar is back and looking for retribution, and ready to unleash some bad luck on the family. Put Lucy and Dar together and their passions reignite. The story is entertaining, and downright funny at times. I enjoyed learning about the MacGregors, and now want more stories about them. The story and characters were interesting. The narration was excellent. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.
