Eternally London (Flawed Hearts #4) by Ellie Wade
4.5 stars!!!

“We wear scars from our past, some deeper than others. Some are visible, and some aren’t. Yet they all serve to remind us that we made it. We fought. We survived. We’ve earned the right to live with joy in our hearts. Don’t let the past define you; let it fuel you.”

I must admit, I was a little hesitant to read this one. This was originally a trilogy, the ending was perfect and these characters had burrowed themselves into my heart and head and I didn’t want everything I have loved to somehow be destroyed, or for them to go through unnecessary drama just for the sake of another book. However, Ellie Wade delivered a book I never knew I wanted and having read it…one I definitely needed. This felt like one giant epilogue, the happy ever after beyond the happy ever after, but with so much depth and a lot of growth for both characters. Not only did this final journey make them stronger, but it only ingrained just how perfect for one and other these two were, just how much they loved one and other and how opposites definitely do attract and have the power to stand the test of time.

“Sometimes, the only thing to do when one’s heart is completely shattered is to simply pretend it’s not.”

I can’t say enough how much I love this couple, from the very beginning these two have held me rapt and have delivered some memorable ups and downs. This whole series has been a fantastic story and Ellie Wade only ups the ante in this final instalment. This was a couple that Ellie Wade couldn’t leave behind amalgamated with a story that she had always wanted to write but had never found the time, melding the two together was a stroke of genius and the plot could not have gelled better for one of my favourite all time couples.

“There is a lot of ugliness in the world, but I have to remember to not let it blind me from the beautiful.”

Ellie Wade brings to the forefront some very important and yet often forgotten subjects and one especially I never knew existed. At times, this story was heart wrenching, hitting very close to home on one aspect that definitely brought many a tear to my eye and yet the progression and the actions that came out of that time brought tears of happiness too. I am being deliberately vague because the reader needs to experience this journey as the author intended and to spoil anything would be a complete travesty. If you love this couple as much as I do then this is a must read, the perfect culmination of one incredible fairy tale romance.

“You know I love every single flaw of yours, just as you love mine.”

London has come such a long way in this series, long gone is the spoiled princess and instead we have a woman with a huge heart who still loves a few luxuries in her life. But, it is her heart that rules, she is incredibly generous, both financially and emotionally and it was her emotional side that really shone in this final instalment. Loic has always been a hero in this series, perfect in every way despite his own insecurities and everything he has been through. Loic is so strong, he has built on his experiences and uses that incredibly hard time he went through to help others who are experiencing the same. Like London, Loic has a huge heart and it is this huge heart that caused me a near coronary in this book.

“I’ve realized that a flawed heart is a fallacy. Regardless of the situations surrounding us, our hearts keep beating—through pain and pleasure, heartache and joy. It beats, keeping us living and allowing us to love. In reality, the heart is quite perfect. It’s powerful, and somehow, I know that, even when it ceases to beat, the love that it carries within will continue to exist.”

Ellie Wade delivered the perfect ending for the perfect couple. This is one of my favourite series ever, I know I go on about the covers of these books, but I simply adore them too…stunning covers so apt for a stunning couple to go along with some of Ellie Wade’s best writing. If you haven’t read this series, I can highly recommend it. Sometimes opposites do attract and they are damn perfect together.

4.5 Stars

“The good and the bad are crucial for our story because they shape our path. Life itself isn’t easy, and it’s never promised to be, but we’re living our happily ever after because we’re on the journey together.”

Have you ever read a book or a series, loved the characters so much and wondered what actually happens after the happily ever after? Well, Ellie Wade has granted us this wish for London and Loïc and in Eternally London we get one more dose of this beautiful couple. I’m not going to lie, I had mixed feelings when I first heard about this book. Part of me was very excited because I loved London and Loïc so much and it’s always great to get to spend more time with some of your favorite book characters. But the other part of me was very nervous because I knew that this wouldn’t be a book full of just happy times, as nice as that sounds, you know there’s gotta be some drama to make it an interesting read and these two had been through so much over the course of the first three books that I wasn’t sure how much more I could handle for them. But I should know by now that I just have to trust in Ellie’s writing because even though it was a bumpy ride, the journey was more than worth it and I truly loved how everything turned out!

We are but two imperfect people, yet when we’re together, our flaws vanish. When we’re together, we’re whole.

I’m not going to recap the story or anything if you haven’t read the first three books yet it won’t make much sense and if you have already read them then you don’t need the recap. At the end of Loving London, we got to see what we thought was London and Loïc’s HEA but we all know that life isn’t perfect, even if you have an epic love, and even after you ride off into the sunset, things happen. When we pick up with London and Loïc in this book, they are ready to take the next step in their relationship and look to start a family but as they soon learn there are some things that you just can’t control. I’m sure that this part of their journey will be very relatable to many people and is a real strain that many couples face. I was actually surprised, and loved, the direction things ended up going, though. It was very unexpected but it demonstrated such great growth in these characters and it was so sweet. London has come a looooong way since we first met her at the start of the series but she grew up even more in this book and I had a new level of respect for her by the end. Loïc was just plain amazing the entire way, he’s also come a long way from the brooding, quiet guy we first met. His level of devotion and love for his wife is pretty amazing and I fell even more in love with his character during this book. This whole book was almost like a great bonus epilogue to their love story, if you are a fan of this series it’s a must read! In my review of Loving London, I said that it was the perfect conclusion to this beautiful love story but I was wrong. THIS book is the perfect conclusion to this beautiful love story!

It’s hard to believe that it all started with a spoiled girl, a moody boy, and a car wash, and somehow, we’ve arrived to this place where we get to live such an amazing life.

Well we asked for more Loic and London, and Ellie delivered. Although this book was super hard for me to read due to the topics that are covered. Part of the journey that Loic and London must take hits very close to home. I shed many tears as I read and my heart felt all the emotions that London experienced. Our outcomes may have been different but I personally felt all the struggles London was having which is something I did not have in the other books. In the first three books I connected more with Loic because of a military connection. Even though this book has both characters with a voice I felt that this one was London heavy. Overall, it was a good addition to the series and I enjoyed the journey just as much as the first three books.

Eternally London was an unexpected addition to the Flawed Hearts series and it was every bit as memorable as the first three books.

If you want an original story that packs a powerful punch to the feels, this book will provide that for you. It is important to note that you should read the first three books in this series to fully appreciate this story.

It isn't often you get to follow characters after they get their happily ever after... a lot of readers enjoy letting their imagination provide what the characters' lives will be like. Most of the time, authors leave their characters to it... but in this case, Ms. Wade delved into the next chapter.

Do I think I would want this with every book I read? No. Did it work for this series? Absolutely. No doubt about it.

The tragic and emotional rollercoaster love story that we experienced between Loic and London from the first three books made you want to root for this couple in a big way. Eternally London tackles their journey to parenthood. As you can imagine, the road is not smooth for them and they encounter devastating blow after blow.

Through the tears, anger and frustration, you never doubt the unwavering love between Loic and London. It practically leaps off the pages. That emotional connection to the story is what made me feel so deeply as I read.

You think you know what to expect from a story like this, but really, you have no idea. The story is unexpected and eye-opening... unlike anything I have reas before.

If you're searching for an original story thay doesn't rely on a formula or cookie cutter story telling... you MUST READ this book... this whole series.

Ms. Wade has a masterful ability to evoke such dramatic feelings as you're reading. There was a point in this book that I literally slammed my Kindle closed and had to catch my breath. I couldn't handle to intense way my heart was beating and how attached I was to the well being of these characters. I had to remind myself that it isn't real life, these characters are fiction.

Ellie Wade makes it look effortless to squeeze your heart and feel so deeply for people who aren't even real...

Semmai, ci siamo salvati a vicenda.»

Cinque stelle.

Wow! This was the perfect ending to an exciting and passionate romance! You will definitely shed some tears. It was heartbreaking, but so compelling. Ms. Wade definitely shows how both main characters have grown from the time they first meet until their life together is finally complete. They sure have had some ups and downs, but isn't that how real life is? Unpredictable? I highlighted so many beautiful quotes and passages that left me thinking. I just loved how London and Loic spoke with such conviction. They were honest and real. Truly passionate. Raw. And, intense. They loved each other fiercely. It was one beautiful romance!

"We wear scars from our past, some deeper than others. Some are visible, and some aren't. Yet they all serve to remind us that we made it. We fought. We survived. We've earned the right to live with joy in our hearts. Don't let the past define you; let it fuel you." ~ Loic (page 34)

"Hope is the catalyst for happiness. The first step to a future void of torment is to allow one's heart to be open and vulnerable to trust." (Page 36)

Eternally London was fantastic way to end a series Ellie Wade has written an epic love story for the hero and heroine , as said before you really need to read book one first and read them in order to reach the perfect understanding of the story line. Throughout the entire series London evolved and became a stronger, confident woman. While Loïc Fought his demons and nearly escaped them he really was the perfect hero loved everything about him . The end was beautifully done the epilogue brought me close to tears . I know I' ll be reading more by this author I wouldn't want to miss anything .

When Ellie first said she was writing another story for Löic & London I thought, "why? There's no need. Their story ended just fine."
...But I was wrong.
Ellie Wade brought them back in a way I didn't even realize I'd been missing. Yes, exploring the beginnings of Löic & London was great, but that's only part of their story. London's new job assignment becomes a life-changer for bother her and her husband Löic when she takes a job overseas.
I promise you, this installment is one to pick up!

London e Loic.
Finalmente, insieme.

Mai.

Oh man, Ellie Wade has done it again! I'm not sure how, but I did not start this series until the first three books were out. Thank goodness, I could not have waited! However, I did have to wait for this one, and I was not very patient about it. This series quickly became one of my all time favorites! I fell head over heals in love with these characters and Ellie's writing from page one of book one.

Loic and London, well there's no better couple. She's a spoiled, jealous, hot tempered, beautiful lovebug and he's a train full of lugguge, military, dark, handsome, wonderful human being. They are complete opposite and absolutely perfect for one another. They fit each other where they need it most and it's breathtaking.

As I was reading, I kept thinking about how the story was going to play out. What was going to happen? Was she...? Was he....? Would they...? I was wrong more than once, and I LOVED it! I felt every ounce of their heartbreak and joy. I feel like they're family and I've been able to take this incredible journey with them. Man, was this book a journey?! I loved reading about the different cultures and backgrounds in this story. I also felt deep heartbreak for those people. Wade will hit you right in the gut, and take your breath away. It will be well worth it, and you'll be better for it.

I could not have asked for a better ending for this couple and series. (I do feel like we need more though! I'll always take more!)

London & Loic's " HEA isnt a destination, its a journey"

"We are but two imperfect people, yet when we’re together, our flaws vanish. When we’re together, we’re whole."
This is the final book in the Flawed Heart series by Ellie Wade. This book was as beautiful, or possibly more beautiful of a story regarding the lives of London and Logic. Her portrayals of her characters and their feelings make the reader feel happiness, feel the hurt , shout in joy or just plain shout at the author when certain things occur.

"Why would I expect a life full of love to be void of struggles? Of course there will be hard times. It’s the love that makes the fight worth it."
And its this kind of love that has me giving this 5 stars (more if I could) and highly recommending this series to all romance lovers. But like in past reviews, be warned, this book, like others in the series, deals with some harsher, sensitive topics. But Ellie Wade does the reader justice by being compassionate in her portrayal of these topics.

"We wear scars from our past, some deeper than others. Some are visible, and some aren’t. Yet they all serve to remind us that we made it. We fought. We survived. We’ve earned the right to live with joy in our hearts. Don’t let the past define you; let it fuel you."

I fell in love with the brilliant Ellie Wade, after Finding London, so the Flawed Hearts Series became a huge addiction from the get go. Eternally London is bonus look at London and Loic after they got through their highly emotional journey to end up together. But let me state for the record that reading the first three books is a must, otherwise it won't hit as hard, trust me. Once again, the uber talented Ms. Wade packed quite the emotional punch that I felt deep down, which left my eyes leaking a time or two, as she has a way of pulling out all of my dramatic emotions like a boss. I have been rooting for this amazing couple since the very first, so getting to see them tackle parenthood was just icing on the cake. However, nothing has ever been easy for them, so they have a few more bumps in the road, as real life is never cut and dried. And it nearly brought me to my knees since I felt every ounce of anger, frustration, and pain they felt, which made it very realistic. Not to mention how original this whole series has come off, as it's not your average romance, and now London and Loic are tattooed on my heart forever. This review may not make a whole lot of sense, but I don't know how else to describe a story this powerful without giving it all away, so just read it for yourselves, and then you'll understand my rambling/gushing. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This book was everything I never knew I needed! If you are looking for something REAL... something beyond the usual cookie-cutter romance novel- then this series is the one for you. I am SO in love with Loic and London and their relationship! Ellie Wade has crafted a true masterpiece with the Flawed Heart Series. From beginning to end she keeps you guessing, and delivers a story with wonderful characters that deal with real-life issues. You will find yourself REALLY rooting for Loic and London. Their love story will break your heart and put it back together a million times. You will need boxes of tissue, and will want to read this alone because you will have such an idiotic grin on your face while reading so many parts of it, people will wonder what is wrong with you. ;)

I was so sad that this was the last book in the series. But I feel that the conclusion was everything I had hoped for and more. And again, Ellie Wade takes something like adoption, and deals with it in such a raw and genuine way, that you feel you are reading about real people and not just characters in a story. I feel like the scenes in Africa and the aftermath of that part of the story are some of my favorites in the whole series. You WILL NOT be disappointed with this book. I don't want to give away much more- you really need to read for yourself. What are you waiting for? ;)

This 4th and final novel was a beautiful way to end a fantastic series. The characters in Ellie's stories are so real and so raw. I absolutely loved this book. After the 3rd book of the series, I honestly did not realize there was much more of a story to tell with Loic and London. They just live happily ever after, right? Wrong. There was so much more to say and so much more that Ellie needed to make the reader feel for this couple and their amazing journey. "True love is not a destination, it's a journey." This book was hard to read at times, but it opened my eyes and mind to the struggles that every day people go through as well as global struggles that I could never imagine are happening in the world. What I love best about Ellie's writing is that she will surprise you. You will think you know what is going to happen and then boom! a twist you would never imagine. This book is a must-read and this series is a must-read. It's my favorite book of Ellie's so far and I'm a forever fan of this extremely talented author. I can't wait to see what she does next!

>Book Review – Eternally London
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 4th in the Flawed Heart series and ends HEA.
>Loic and London are now married and happily in love. Wanting to start a family showcases the issues, mentally and physically that couples will have with infertility. The saddest scene in the book was when London asked Loic to make a “deposit”. That line took their romance and killed it. The story deals with depression in London, Loic and a new character, the wounded PTSD soldier, Tommy.
>Adoption is an answer, although the process is greatly simplified in this story. A new cause, the danger to albinos in Africa, is introduced. This issue is new to me and very interesting, along with heartbreaking. I love the HEA with the kids. I really wish that the story line with Sarah had been handled differently. She was an addict that magically got better? She really should have caused Loic and Dixon a lot more stress than she did.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars. Loic is a truly wonderful character.

This was the perfect ending for London and Loïc! I've been with London and Loïc since the beginning, from when London was shamelessly flirting with Loïc in her bikini at a car wash. London and Loïc have had their ups and downs, that's for sure! And while this story wasn't smooth sailing for them, it was the perfect send off. Although part of me is sad to see this extraordinary couple go about their way.

This story needs to be read after the other books in the Flawed Hearts series! This story, just like the others, takes place after the one preceding it and builds upon the events. So in order for maximum enjoyment, read the whole series, in order, in one sitting.

This is definitely a series/couple I will be coming back to. So much happens in the book and the whole series, that it's heart-lifting to see what their love can surpass.

Well, even though the last book gave us the HEA we all were begging for, Ellie Wade couldn’t leave them behind and she had to give us what life is like after that fairy tale marriage! London and Loic’s story in this one gives us the raw and real moments of marriage. The struggle. The love. Everything. I love that it isn’t picture perfect. You feel their struggles. Their pain. But you also feel their passion. Not just for each other but what they do in their lives. With what Loic does and then what London does to find herself again. I thought it was a brilliant concept. I almost bawled at points because of how emotional it got.
I have to say that this was really a brilliant addition to the series and gives us so much more. I love the whole idea behind it as well. When you get to the end you really start to think. I really believe that was the most amazing thing that Wade did in this story. If I mention it, it would be a spoiler… so you will have to read and find out for yourself! So if you are a fan of this series or looking for a new one, run don’t walk and start this one today!

~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~

When I first started this series by Ellie, I knew that I was in for a ride. Lots of emotions throughout this book. Happy, sad, upset etc... But the one emotion that I felt throughout the book was hope. Loic and London love each other with a love that exceeds boundaries. This book is no different. You get a glimpse into their life a year later. You see the ups and downs that they go through. You see the love that they have for each other that is never ending. Tears were shed (only because I can cry at a car commercial) Get this book now! You will not be disappointed at all!!

When reading the synopsis of this book I was scared to death to see what happen. I was afraid that maybe the author would surprise me and not finish the book how I wanted to do it. After reading the entire series (and all the other books she had written) I am highly invested in these characters.
I will say one thing about the ending of this series.

It was perfect for London and Loic. Absolutely perfect. It made you sad at the beginning of it, it made you so sad for them but as it evolved they both evolved. London needed it. She broke out of her shell. Became the woman that I knew she would become.

Perfect. ABSOLUTELY perfect.

I thought the ending to their last book was perfect but I loved this one more. It's very real to read about the struggles a lot of couples go through even after their supposed HEA. Ellie had a lot of real messages in this one about not expecting everything to be perfect and finding a way to work through everything and I applaud her for that. We don't get that in a lot of books these days. Some of thier struggles really hit home with me and brought up all kinds of feels. And I loved catching up with all the supporting characters, bringing back all of their unique quirks too. Another great one!

Beautiful!! And wonderful, original, thought provoking, emotion evoking, etc. So many kind and wonderful things I just want to rave and rave about this book!! I truly thought this was a masterpiece 4th addition to the series. Wade has written an intriguing world filled with complex and crazy characters. I love her style and the words she has been able to put on the page just make me smile.

I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.
