Saw this book in my e-mail from Alzheimer. Showed it to my husband, since he has been diagnosed with high blood pressure & is on medication. (Has been for years) He seemed interested & bought it along with other pamphlets that came with it. Even though I don't have high blood pressure, I read it. This book is very helpful with why it's bad to take some of those blood pressure pills & what you can change to get off them & keep off them. This book also tells you why sugar is worse for you than salt. Has a list of good & bad foods, exercise to help your heart & a lot more information. Whether you have or don't have high blood pressure, this is an excellent book. Very informative.
This is an excellent book but I suggest buying it independently and not signing up for Dr. Marlenes package deals. If you do you will get and endless amount of solicitations from Primal Labs and many other vitamin companies giving you long boring sales pitches. Dr. Marlene has good knowledge but it’s too bad she has to resort to such annoying marketing.
This book is only available through primal labs http://bloodpressuresolution.com/ I have reviewed this book and it has good information. I would recommend to anyone that is interested in controlling their blood pressure.
I have had high blood Pressure for a few years and a friend Suggested I read this. Well, it was an easy read not long. I have read all this before from Readers Digest to Time magazine, In the Newspaper and online, Everything in this book is and was written before, all it is compiled here for not Free like all the places I mentioned and a few FREE sites i didn't like the American Heart Assoc.I could not find anything new or anything that I hadn't already read! If you ask me it's a scam, just like her other Books!
Great book, very eye opening. I've heard Dr. Merritt speak and she is a walking library. Really knows her stuff and is very detailed in researching medical studies about nutrition and their strengths and weaknesses!
I overpaid for the book. While filled with “alternative” information, there was no new information. Fortunately, I’ve been doing nearly all of her suggestions for years. Unfortunately, my blood pressure ( with Rx) is annoyingly high. If you have been participating in your own health, I cannot imagine you will learn anything new. Disappointing read.
Commonsense advice and highly informative approach to natural blood pressure prevention. Notice: prevention not replacing a doctor. Though it's short, Merritt is pretty clear on defining the what's of blood pressure, the dangers of high blood pressure, and what could help based on studies that have been conducted.
What I liked the best was the overall positive tone. Merritt doesn't preach that you do such-and-such by the letter. She has pretty humane and inviting expectations for readers. She would like for you to decide what is best for you based on the information she provides and hopes you adapt at a pace that is comfortable for you. That in itself is inspirational to me.
Great book, Dr. Merritt's book was very educational and carefully prepared, it helped my mother a lot to control her high blood pressure. This new book is also very interesting for the advice. www.BingURL.com/bloodpressure
This book is very informative, it’s a must read even if you don’t suffer from high blood pressure. It will help you to avoid ever having to deal with it.
