I loved this book! First of all, it was set around a lot of places that were near and dear to me in Atlanta or places I'd been in New York and Paris. I related to the characters, their style, their decision-making processes, and their stories. And...most importantly...IT'S HOT!!! The sex scenes don't sound contrived or silly, they sound genuine and they are fun to read! I loved every page- without giving away spoilers- especially the ending. Read it! It's a fun one!!! Can't wait for Jennifer's next book!
Jessica always felt unloved. She felt ignored by her parents and only receives insults from her mother. At twenty five she's only had one boyfriend An online dating site leads her to Jackson. He's everything she wants. Handsome, successful, and thoughtful. They've been dating for six weeks and she takes him to Paris over Valentines Day. She's falling in love.
Something happens that has Jess feeling insecure and then another incident has her furious. She storms to the hotel bar. She can fly out in the morning, but what should she do in the meantime? While trying to figure things out she meets Max. A delicious hunk with an even more delicious Italian accent.
Jackson and Jess go to dinner and they work things out. Not too much later and he asks Jess to move in with him. During the next few months, Max keeps showing up and Jackson is changing. Jess isn't happy and is resigned to break up with Jackson. While on a business trip to China, Max shows up. Max tells her she isn't a fling, but on her last morning, Max has left her. He doesn't leave a note or text.
There's one thing in the book that really annoyed me. The author's continued use of peach and muscle, it grated on me. It felt like she latched onto those pet names and couldn't let go. Other than that, I do recommend it (Warning to those who don't do books that contain sex. It's in there and plenty of it. ;) ) and I will be reading the sequel.
This book starts with an incredibly sexy meeting between two people on an airplane. Then it seems to go downhill from there. I wasn't sure how old Jess was but after reading for a while I figured she was young. Very young. Her references about her "peach" and his "Italian sausage" made me laugh each time I read it. The "cutesy" names were very childish. It sort of diminished the erotic play they were having. Also, her immediate assumptions of betrayal and her accusations against the two men without getting any explanations or giving them the benefit of the doubt makes her seem even younger than I first thought. She doesn't know if she wants Jack or Max, but she doesn't want anyone else to have them either. She comes off as a very spoiled and immature woman. But maybe I'm just being overly critical. I just think it would've been a little better if she was shown as a stronger more confident woman with an important decision to make. I did read all of it, so it couldn't have been too bad. Especially since it only took me 1/2 a day to read it.
Jessica is a young lady who felt unloved and is always being put down by her mother. While looking for love, she met Jack on a dating website and started dating and subsequently fell in love. While on a vacation together, she met Max and felt attracted to him. As time goes on,after some actions and reactions by the parties involved, she was faced with decisions to make -stick with love or go after lust. To me, she made many mistakes in her relationship and cheating was somehow justified in the book which is wrong and also too many explicit sex scenes. I won this book on Goodreads in return for my honest review. I will admit I had struggles with this book. I didn't like Jessica. She seemed too immature and I had a hard time relating and feeling empathy. I also hate abrupt open endings. Yes, it's so you want to buy book two to see what happens but since I don't like Jessica, it disappointed me further. This is a new author and her writing style is easy to read. I might try something else by her but it won't be the continuation of Jess's story.
A slow moving story line, with copious bar and bedroom scenes, I found my concentration wavering and had difficulty finishing this book. Jess is caught up in a relationship that impinges on her romance with her boyfriend, leaving her confused and uncertain of the future. The fact that the book ends on a cliff-hanger is also frustrating. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
This story would be more aptly titled 'Confused.' My first complaint is this story ends in a cliffhanger! I gave the story a 3 because the the main character, Jess, is well written as a confused young woman. Though I got frustrated with her wishy-washy behavior that wasn't consistent with her character according to other characters.

I think it was a very good book better than fifty shades of grey it included more travel scenes and even if it was steamy in places it was not crude. in short a good romance story stopping short of being R rated but i still donot get the title name. :i received this book for free from E discovery. This my honest Review
The reason I gave this book the rating I did, was mainly because I disliked the main character, the dialogue seemed unrealistic, and I just do not like the idea of romanticizing cheating. The novel is about a young women named Jess who is fighting to choose what she thinks is love versus lust. Firstly, the character I liked the least was probably Jess. Personally, I feel like she makes problems out of nothing and is quick to point her fingers at others and never really fully comprehends the impact of her choices in her daily life. Throughout the whole book, it was about a girl who made mistake after mistake because she was mad for some reason never really understanding the consequences of her actions and where her constant mistakes put all of her relationships. Secondly, the dialogue just made me cringe so hard at moments where I just had to put the book down and walk away for a few moments. So did some of Jess's thoughts, the way she thought scenarios through and the names she gave things was ridiculous. The little things in the dialogue between the characters like putting "it is" instead of a simple "its" just got to me. Some of the things the characters said was like it was way to formatted, it took me out of the movie in my head and made me realize what I was reading was just a combination of twenty-six letters on a page. Finally, the overall message I got from reading the book was simply horrible for me. Everybody takes a general point from a book and the one I got was along the lines of 'Cheating is okay if your body wants to and your boyfriend doesn't pay enough attention to you even though you don't put enough effort into the relationship you're in.' I will admit the ending was probably my favorite part, it got me so frustrated with everything and everyone, just as she was about to do something right, her life got so much more complicated and I cant say that I'm not curious about what happens next and that's why I gave a whole other star just for the last eight pages of the book. The ending hands down was the best part, before I read it I was thinking to myself that I'm not even remotely interested in what happens next but after I read the ending, I'm trying to think of a way where she doesn't get into more problems then shes already in. (Also, for anyone who wants to read this book, there's a whole bunch of sex scenes and if you are uncomfortable with them, like me, I would recommend you skip this one.)
The story started out a little slow at the beginning but quickly picked up. I want to know what happens next! "I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review."
