I received a PDF.file for this book from the author through a giveaway she had a LibraryThing.com and the following is my honest opinion.
Being a child of the 1950’s I can remember Nat King Cole singing “Pick Yourself Up.” The reason I’m mentioning this song is that the lyrics just epitomizes what this book is attempting to communicate to its readers:
….Nothing's impossible, I have found
For when my chin is on the ground.
I pick myself up,
Dust myself off
And start all over again.
Don't lose your confidence if you slip
Be grateful for a pleasant trip
And pick yourself up,
Dust yourself off
And start all over again….
And in order for someone, anyone to accomplish this they would simply need the motivation to do it. Motivation can come from a variety of sources, but the most powerful source is that which comes from reading the GOOD BOOK, the bible.
The author, 1Unique Writer, invites her readers to SLOWLY READ each one of the poems she’s written exclusively for this book. Once the reading has been completed readers are instructed, with the teachings of the bible in their minds, to ponder on what they’ve just read, as they process the combination of these two items in their minds. For as we’ve learned growing up, the bible is the storehouse of a lot of insightful realities which needs to be applied to this reading process. And if everything has been done correctly then the encouragement that is being sought will be able to manifest itself as will the motivation that is so desperately wanted.
For wanting her readers to be able to pull themselves up from the abyss of feeling demoralized from the inability to succeed so they can reach the apex of the mountain they’ve set their eyes on, I’m happy to give this book and its author 5 STARS

“God knows your pain and has your healing.” These words mark the start of the first poem in Winning: 30 Days of Motivational Poetry by 1UniqueWriter. It is a compelling sentence that will resonate with many who have been through trials on their journey through life. Based on Christian teachings, Winning consists of different poems that are packed with hope and encouragement that anyone will find applicable. The author maintains a theme of faith and persistence and inspires the reader not to lose hope, but to realize that their pain is only for a season.
In Winning: 30 Days of Motivational Poetry by 1UniqueWriter, it is clear that the author borrows from their own life experiences, which makes the poems authentic. As I read every poem, I was encouraged to know that many have gone through different struggles in life and have managed to succeed by trusting in God, even though the odds were against them. Every day we all face challenges and, at times, we feel overwhelmed. Winning: 30 Days of Motivational Poetry acknowledges these hurdles in life and goes further to provide the reader with much-needed support. It all felt like someone was standing next to me to cheer me on.
The poems felt like a burst of energy in the morning when I needed the extra uplifting. I loved that the poems can be read daily for a month. The heavenly notes were also a great bonus. Overall, reading each poem contained in Winning: 30 Days of Motivational Poetry was worthwhile and I have no hesitation in recommending this book to others.
