Greg Norman comes from the generation of golfers from before my time. I hadn't heard of him before reading this book, but his story resonated strongly with me for a variety of reasons. He started golfing at 15 and through very hard work he became the best golfer in the world for a long period of time. He leveraged his brand and entered business and became a highly successful international businessman. Through it all, he was and is imperfect, just like the rest of us, and this memoir felt like him reliving all of the experiences that defined his life. He took us through his most important relationships, golfing moments, business deals, and lessons that he's learned. I was inspired by the kindness shown to him and shown to others, his commitment to excellence, and the constant drive to succeed. There are many good life lessons in this book, and I would recommend it to any student of golf or business. DIN & DIP (Do it Now & Do it Proper!)

The book kept me 25pct engaged. Aside from a couple of parts where he recognises the positive impact of Jack Nicholas and his Father, the book comes across as self centered. I should have expected it. I still respect Greg Norman.. one of the most exciting golfers.

Greg Norman is a legend in golf. This book describes how he has created his business empire which is very amazing. Greg Norman as a writer is not very amazing. It is all about Greg. This is one that you can put down for awhile, because he goes on endlessly about himself. His disagreement with the PGA Tour is interesting, but a bit borish.
