This textbook really helped me through my microeconomics class.

As far as a textbook goes this book was incredibly easy to understand and helpful. Macroeconomics was required reading for my undergrad econ class. It attempts to make an incredibly dry subject somewhat entertaining, though it is still challenging to get through for those of us that are not interested in the subject matter.
