A hilarious yet deeply moving chronicle of modern motherhood, Wild Things is a delightful, oh-so-relatable read for any parent of young children. The book is laid out in such a way (a series of interrelated vignettes and musings) that it is equally easy to read in one sitting or to pick up and put down as your children allow- though trust me, you won't want to put it down. It's at once familiar enough that there are moments you think "oh my gosh, I totally could have written this!", and yet so beautifully and artfully written that you immediately take it back. Download to your phone and read whenever you need a ten minute break from tantrums, messes, and PJ masks- I guarantee you'll enjoy :)

Humorous and insightful collection of stories from a young mother who finds herself in unknown territory juggling two young boys, a chronic disease and a husband who's more cerebral than mechanical. Uprooted from her extended family to west Texas for her husband's job, Katherine Davis has to rely on herself to get things done-make things happen. What results is a woman who, in her early 30s, gains confidence and finds beauty and inspiration on the U.S./Mexican border.

Author, Katherine Davis, draws on her own experiences as a mother, sister, and wife to share her joys, struggles, and learnings in a honest and inviting way that anyone can relate to. The descriptions of each character and the numerous relatable moments make this a quick read that will have you laughing, crying and nodding along in agreement the entire time. A must read!
