Sam has managed to survive what most people couldn’t. Through grace alone, her life is slowly piecing back together, and her faith has grown so much stronger. The only thing that still haunts her is leaving Junior behind after he shared his long-kept secret with her. But she wasn’t ready then—her heart was still too fragile. Now faced with another of life’s challenges, Sam knows she can’t go through it alone. But is she ready to take the leap, to trust someone again, when the first betrayal nearly destroyed her? Only God can direct her path. Only her faith can keep her strong enough to do what she has to do. Most of all, she needs to believe that everyone deserves a second chance…when never again happens.
Jamie Lynn Boothe has long been a lover of fiction. As a teenager, he wrote poetry. Due to a difficult journey in life, his writing took a sharp turn and was stored on a shelf, collecting dust. In 2010, the passion that had been waiting erupted and numerous books poured from his soul.
The first novel he had written was Nightmares and Dreams. It was published with a small house but is no longer available. He plans on rewriting it at some point and giving it back to the world. Several Christian romances were published and are still available. But that isn’t where his heart lies.
Jamie has now become a crime fiction/thriller/suspense writer. His favorite authors include David Baldacci, James Patterson, and Harlen Coben. His focus is strong and hopes to join the ranks of the authors he reads.
Dark Vengeance: A Nash Peterson Novel is his first crime thriller. He plans on going the Indie route and it will be released on May 1st, 2021.

The weird thing is, I didn’t realise these were religious books, and if I’m being totally honest I doubt I would’ve read them, I do have my faith but am not as religious in the way of these books, I love Christmas, midnight mass, (not regularly) believe christenings are important and lovely, got married in church (many moons ago) I also believe it was to my soul mate, I don’t very often attend church but do believe I am not alone (if that makes sense?) and admit to sending a prayer at times and especially for the one’s I’ve lost BUT now I’m rambling! Back to the book, I doubt I would have read these if I had realised they were so religious BUT oh wow I loved them, they gave me so many emotions! I absolutely cried my heart out in the first book and felt it was so unfair 😭 and actually needed to put off reading the second one for a while to prepare myself for my emotional fallout I knew would be coming and it did! 2 Very emotional reads, my husband and children got used to seeing me blubbing whilst reading! So glad I read them, made me extra appreciative 😊 I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the second book in a series. You need to read book one to get the full effect of this book. Sam was married to Chris. They had a wonderful marriage until a drunk driver hits her while they are on vacation. While she was being treated for her injuries, they find she has a heart condition that can kill her. They fight the condition together and as she comes out the other side, he is killed in a car accident. This book picks up months later, after she has moved away to live by her best friend. Chris' best friend, Junior, comes down to visit her. This book is about picking up the pieces after tragedy and learning to be happy again. it is a well-written, emotional read.

The second book in this series called Never Again, I would say if you have not read the first book do not read this one until after you do.I enjoyed this book as much of the first one. Sam and Junior have a lot that is keeping them from say they love each other, but with God's they will find a way, I enjoyed the interaction between these two. Would I recommend this series the answer is yes.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book picks up where Never Again ends with Sam dealing with the death of her husband. It's a heartbreaking yet beautiful story of overcoming emotional pain , loss and of finding peace, love and happiness through it all. It's a spiritual book filled with emotion and a touching story of finding love for the second time. It's a story of faith and hope and belief. It's a very touching story and I loved reading this book as well as the first one. Highly recommend.
What a perfect ending to a great love story.. So happy for Sam after everything she has had happen to her.. and how she turned to God for all her answers.
