Nemecene: Through Fire and Ice

Rate this book
As Earth gets hotter day by day, Elize's deteriorating mental stability awakens forces that even the Ministry cannot control. Chaos replaces order with the twins as bait. Debunked government propaganda ignites a movement calling for transparency that risks exposing the twins' location. While the Pramam's leadership decays form within, allies emerge, but are they already too late to stop the gathering? Only a shift in perception can restore the balance. Would you question your beliefs?

Kaz dreams of a world where people can engage in life-changing immersive experiences that inspire and empower them to think, feel, express, connect, and act in harmony with each other, nature, and our life source, water.

Drawing on her life-long love of design and her overflowing imagination, she crafts engaging stories by connecting the dots between science, art, music, dance, fashion, words, spirit, nature, reason, humanity, darkness, humour, and a curious taste for the as-of-yet inexplicable.

Kaz brings a singular approach to storytelling. She wraps a scene into a soap bubble, floats it out in front of her, plays with it until it feels just right, then dives into the soul of the character whose point of view she wants to express.

Feel free to connect with Kaz via @Nemecene or @Aguacene.

Kaz has a bachelor in Applied Science (engineering) from Queen’s University, a fashion degree from the Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy, certifications in personal training and hypnosis, a US Patent in user interface design, an IMBD credit as director of White, and has written extensively on environmental issues via Woman Not Waiting, Life As A Human, and her philanthropy mission at Aguacene.

She speaks English, French, Spanish, and is currently learning Russian. She also strives to be a recovering chocoholic, with limited success, and to look more and more like her standard poodle every day. :-)

This is the third book in the first trilogy of this series. You really need to read the previous books in order to understand what's going on in this book.  The antagonist, the 3rd person narrator, makes this story difficult to get through.  There are references to abuse of power and sexual manipulation. The twins are maturing and continue to change physically. New connections between characters from previous books influence this story.  This is not a book to be read when distracted.

this was a great final entry in the first arc of Nemecene, I enjoyed getting to know the characters and was invested in what was going on. The story was great and I was excited to read the next arc.

This latest in the series is intense! At times you'll think you're losing your mind, too. And I did not anticipate the ending... wow. When can I get my hands on Book 4?

A futuristic battle with twins Keeto and Elize will keep you wanting more. Immerse yourself in the Nemecene world and see how they are not so much ying and yang but two halves of a whole.
