Enjoyed reading this, exciting to think about planning a van conversion. Lots of helpful info!

Liked how he explains things and makes it seem like a much more normal thing to do. The About the Van life chapter was interesting, and in general liked the stories and anecdotes from his time on the road. Makes it more real.

Would have given 4.5 but Goodreads doesn't allow that, as a few areas it could be improved. Some areas lack proofreading with spelling and grammar errors that can detract a little from the text (but only a minor point). And the section on van mantaintance felt a little too specific for the content of this book, maybe better as a separate guide.

The writing style was a little bland and would have benefitted from more stories to illustrate some of his adventures. However, the book is packed with useful information for anyone considering a van conversion and long-term van travel, especially those hoping to live off the grid for the majority of the time.

Not my style of book, couldn’t finish it. However very informative and has a lot of information in, good for those interested in this subject. Wrong book for me.
