A concise biography of Gerald Ford for the littles.

I have read a few of the U.S. Presents Checkerboard Biography Library picture book series before and have enjoyed them all. My favorite portion is “The Seven Hats of the U.S. President.” This section talks about each of the presidents responsibilities and title that goes for each of those duties, including: Chief of State, Chief Diplomat, Chief Legislator, Chief Politician, Chief Jurist, Commander-In-Chief, and Chief Executive. Love it! This very clear and extremely helpful section will aid in writing a biography report with varied vocabulary; writing "president" over and over again makes for a dull read. This series would be a nice addition to any classroom or school library.
