Going into this book I didn't have very high hopes for it, seeing that it may just be a level entry book on Minecraft, the enchantment and potions process and how it's done in-game. I was right.

While the information within this book was elementary and not for those who have played the game for awhile, it's a good book for someone who's just getting into Minecraft. It's full of vibrant colors, details, and crafting recipes that will get you started on your Minecraft adventure.

A must-have for any Minecraft-infested household, with interesting trivia straight from Mojang and not only full descriptions of all the enchantments, but a flow chart that tracks potion recipes (these are the ones I forget most often, so it's invaluable).

The visual overview of all the potions and the numbers involved in enchantment functions were really interesting! A few bits were outdated (mostly netherite not being included) and the last few pages felt really out of place, as if they needed to fill a page quota. Overall, a fun book to read and have in your collection!
