Dewey and Holland meet, a battle of rival siblings. Renton seizes his relinquished responsibility and rescues Eureka from the infiltrators. A demon takes control of Eureka, guides her to the increasing Trapar -- we get a sense that Eureka is really a part and parcel of the Trapar field.

A scholarly note: What is the Trapar field? It is indeed mysterious. It is not like an electromagnetic field. It builds up isotropically and in graded levels. That is not so easy to accomplish in heterogeneous (nor homogeneous, of course) electric fields. The gradation is similar to the pressure, leading us to think that it might work like gravity, but it really doesn't. It is simply a stable floating ground for the boards. What is it exactly? I cannot yet decipher. One more volume and I perhaps will gain enough insight to understand what is the constitution of such a field.

So, things are really starting to move towards the end now, even though we are only roughly half way through the series!
I am absolutely LOVING Renton and Eureka's chemistry, and how their romance is portrayed. It is definitely one of my favourite manga couples, but not nearly on par with say Saeko and Takashi from HOTD.
My romance obsessions aside, I am still loving the art, though the "Coralians" or whatever they are called disappoint me. It's not that they are bad antogonist/environmental forces, I just don't like their visual portrayel. A giant eye-ball or two, or 50 I can handle, I am a Chaos fan. However they are ALL eye-balls from what I have seen thus far, and it leaves something to be desired for me.

I think this series' strongest point(besides artwork) is the characters. They all feel subtly different from the anime, but most of them feel like real people!(Definitely a group I would like to meet!)
