**ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **
I've said it before and I'll say it again - there is a reason that CM Steele is an auto buy author for me- safe, steamy, sweet and can we just talk about those epilogues? ?
This was another visit to the Kane family. The stories have been spread out so I had to stop and refresh them in my mind. This time it was Ryan Kane and his assistant July. While the story was great, I was a little ticked at Ryan because I felt he didn't fight very hard. Was he alpha, yes. Was he devoted to the heroine, again yes. I just felt that he could have been more "drop everything and go get his girl" than he was. This didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story though.
-no cheating
-no ow/om drama (the drama was created by another woman but she was not an ex, just a woman who wanted to be with one of the Kane's and was a problem in other books)
-some pushing away by heroine
-great epilogue (as usual from CM Steele)

I've been waiting for their story since December and finally, it's out. C. M. Steele is one of my favorite authors. It always makes me happy everytime I read her books. Always with OTT alpha males and with beautiful epilogues. Though the H in this book wasn't as alpha as I wanted him to be, I still enjoyed it. He's still an alpha but I'm used to C. M. Steele's heroes who just claim their women right away.
The story is about Ryan and July.
She's working for him as his assistant for almost eight months. They wanted each other since the first day they met but because of company policy, he tried to fight his feelings for her and pushed her away.
Overhearing her talking to someone on the phone, making plans to meet made him realized it's time to break the rules and stake his claim.
They had a great night together but it didn't last long. Someone wanted them apart and made her ran away but Ryan will never let her go.
It has a beautiful epilogue. I loved the epilogue!

Another lovely read by Ms. Steele! We get a deliciously jealous alpha male and some off the charts steam.
The Kane Family series has never been my favourite, mainly because the whole office romance thing isn't my cup of tea. Also, I find that the h's in this series love to jump to ridiculous conclusions and flee without giving the H the benefit of the doubt.
Besides the super immature annoying h I enjoyed the story. Ryan Kane was to die for and this was a nice conclusion to the Kane Family series.

Cute short story but compared to other books I've been reading lately this was PG 13 lol Epilogue was super adorable with 6 kids! <3

Ryan and July have wanted each other for months, eight months to be exact, however, as her boss, Ryan must adhere to the company's, his family's business, no fraternization between employees. To maintain his distance, he's purposefully been a bit of a jerk. But, upon overhearing July has a date, Ryan, after realizing he'd finally pushed her too far, decides to break the rules for once. July will be his, and he has no problem stealing her away from her date.
July knows she needs to move on and let go of her dreams of Ryan seeing her as more than his assistant. When her best friend, Tyler, visits from back home in Texas, she allows others to believe it's more than just two friends hanging out together. She can't believe it when Ryan interrupts her "date" with Tyler, claiming her work was incomplete and she needs to go with him immediately to fix it. July is ticked, but she also notices something she never has before...Ryan seems jealous.
Ryan knows he shouldn't invent reasons, *cough cough lie,* to get July to his apartment, but he's desperate. He can't bear the thought of losing her. When July discovers the truth behind Ryan's actions, and his real feelings for her, they both succumb to the temptation, finally giving into the chemistry between them.
However, the morning after loses its glow when July inadvertently intercepts a call from an assistant at the company, one who's been after every Kane man, and goes on to insinuate Ryan is something he isn't, as well as implying her role is more personal than it is.

Little ow drama, and a couple weeks separation, but then it was all fixed. Loved this series where the men love their women and there is no one else for them. Great read.

That is when he decides its time to claim his woman.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book from C.M. Steele. This is the fourth book in the Kane Family series. This story was about Ryan Kane, the middle son. For eight long, agonizing months Ryan has been secretly lusting after his assistant, July. He went out of his way to put a divide between them so he wouldn't cross that line. Now it seems he's pushed so hard that she's fallen right into another man's arms. He overheard her on the phone making a date at his favorite restaurant of all places. He's had enough and decided rules are made to be broken so he's gonna show up at the restaurant and steal her away from her date. July moved from her family's ranch in Texas to Boston so she could be independent. She never expected to fall for her boss who seems to hate her at times. When Tyler Williams, a friend only, from Texas comes to Boston she figures taking him to Ryan's favorite restaurant is the perfect way to make him jealous. Of course after they get together she listens to a horrible person and instead of confronting him she just takes it as fact and runs home to Texas. Will Ryan go after her ? What will he do when he catches her ?

Love, love, loved this book! It will give you butterflies, and make you hot! The sex scenes in this book were steamy goodness! I think this is my favorite Kane book. I will be re-reading this book many times, it was just that good.

I loved the last book of the Kane family and at the same time I'm sad of seeing them go :(
July and Ryan are both stubborn people and don't want to admit their feelings for each other especially July, since Ryan has acted harsh and rude towards her; he acts that way because he wants her but doesn't want to go against the company's policy of fraternizing with an employee and he's trying to find a solution so he can finally have his July. He's wanted her since she started working in the family's company 8 months ago as his assistant.
There were some misunderstandings thrown in their path, including Ryan's reluctance to go against the company's policy to get their happily ever after but Ryan wasn't going to let anything stand in the way of finally claiming his woman. He was possessive as hell of his woman, just like his brothers, Matt and Spencer are of their women, Candace and Rose ;)
Between a spiteful employee, Mara, who's wanted to hook-up and get one of the Kane brother's captured in her web (she's a gold-digger) has caused serious misunderstandings between Matt, Ryan and their women and also has been spreading lies about Rose, Spencer's wife, well she got what she deserved at the end when Spencer fired her, lol I was happy to read that part :)
Despite everything, Ryan and July got their happily ever after and we get to read the two epilogues that total 23 years, with 6 kids, a happy marriage and we get to see their love still intact if not stronger and passionate than ever <3

So I'm not a big fan of third party reading. I just lose interest. But guess what! This book was amazing. I loved it.

Ryan, Ryan, Ryan why do guys have to be assholes instead of telling the girl what he wants? Ryan Kane is an Asshole with a capital A to July Cooper, all because he wants he and company policy won't allow him to have her. Screw policy, because he will be screwing her. In typical CM fashion you will find a hot alpha male who knows what he wants and that is a beautiful female. There is drama, there is chemistry, there is stubbiness, there is hotness and there is enough aww in this book to make your day. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review, my opinion is this, like the rest of the Kane series is a 5 star read! His Jet is bigger after all.

This is the story of Ryan and July. Ryan has feelings for July, but she works as his assistant. He acts like a jerk & pushes her away due to company policies. It all changes when he discovers what she has plans to have dinner with another man. Businessman Ryan turns into caveman Ryan determined to get his girl.
I liked July, but I thought she gave into him too easily. I also felt she should've talked to Ryan first about the whole Mara situation instead of believing her right away. Other than that, it was a good book!

The Kane family keeps getting bigger. Ryan has been in love with July since he first laid eyes on her, but he didn't want to give into his feelings because then he'd have to break his companies rules. When July has a date with someone Ryan knows that this rule was meant to be broken. He will lie and steal to get July just where he wants her, in his bed and life forever. When he gets her there he just needs to keep her there. I Love this series, I can't wait to see what is next.

I love the Kane family series so when I saw that this book had been released I was excited to read it. I enjoyed this book; I just wish this book were longer. I wanted more scenes with Ryan and July together. I will admit that at first, I wasn’t a massive fan of Ryan. Then he slowly grew on me. I liked when he went after his woman.
I liked the epilogues for this book. I liked that July and Ryan ended up having lots of children instead of the three they agreed on.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Welcome back to the Kane family! Here we have my favorite brother, Ryan. At the beginning I wanted to smack him. Yes, he was devoted to the h, and yes he was a sexy as hell alpha, but he wait so long before he pulled the stick out of his ass to claim her. But he's a man, and since I love him I'll over look that.
All in all it's another 5 star read from C.M Steele.

Cute short story - although I recommend you read the rest of the Kane family books to really understand just what is happening in this one - you may be a bit lost if you don't!

Another great Kane family story!!
Love that Ryan finally found his "one". Only question is "why are all the Kane men so hardheaded?" These boys sure do love to push against love until fate steps in. July and Ryan are perfect for each other.

However, the holiday season gave them a pleasant surprise and because of his persistence, they finally had their own HEA .
I enjoyed this book! This quick read had a witty and catchy title, sweet and sexy plot, and heart-warming feels because the families were adorable. Reading this truly felt like Christmas in July!
