When Daddy Is The Plug

Rate this book
There is nothing more important to Julian Gabbiano than his daughter, Juliana. As a single parent he's raised her alone. She's just turned eighteen and is technically grown, but to Julian she is still his baby girl. And unfortunately, he doesn't trust anyone to protect her like he's done, well nobody else but Nova.
Nova has been like a son to Julian. From his young teenage years, Julian has taken him under his wing and molded him into an incredible man. Which is good because his daughter has fallen in love with him.
When dealings in the game become personal Nova and Julian will do whatever it takes to make sure that Juliana is safe.
Those close quarters give Nova and Juliana time to vibe though, and feelings become conflicted for Nova due to an undying loyalty to her father.
In this fast pace read you'll stay on the edge of your seat and endure a rollercoaster of emotions. Secrets will be revealed, lies will be told, blood will shed, but love ... love will do what loves blossom.

Good

Well that was interesting. It was different than what I'm used to reading in urban fiction. Juliana was a different type of leading lady and Nova was a different type of man. He wasn't out dogging all these different women, and she wasn't a bitter independent I can do bad by myself woman. The only pitfall, for me, though was that the editing was not the best. It could definitely have been worse, but it's just my OCD. I am really very interested to see how Frank will act now that the tables have turned, and it's his daughter! I'm glad I waited until part 2 was released to read

Great book

I have read almost all of Ashley's books and I have seen her growth as a writer! This book was impressive as the storyline was insane and I can't wait for part two! I still don't trust Summer and feel like she is fake so I'm interested in how her friendship with Juliana turns out! Rasheedas character intrigues me and I'm mixed how what will end up happening with her. Must read!

Loved it!

That ending though....serves Frank right. Let's see how he feel now that it's his daughter in the table. I don't trust Frank at all. I hate hate rasheeda. I hate the fact she uses her daughter as a pawn against nova. I will be glad when nova and Juliana like make things official and are exclusive. Glory gets no love because I feel like she made a selfish childish decision. I loved the storyline and can't wait to read part 2

Omg

This book was so bomb. I love Nova so much. Glad Juliana peeped game with that take friend of hers. Rasheeda needs to get a life, but what's a book without some baby mama drama.

Great beginning

Loved this story. I'm glad that Julian had given his Blessing. But now the drama really starts. I don't trust Summer and I feel like Nova's baby momma is going to be an issue. Can't wait to read part 2

Loving this well written good read. This book started off with drama and it continued to the very end with twist and turns thrown in. Characters were believable and realistic and made for a steady flow. Can't what to see what happens in PT.2.
