They Died Too Young is a series of mini-books (4 ¼ in. x 3 ¼ in., approx. 75-100 pages) providing condensed biographies of iconic rock artists who died prematurely.
It was ok. One photo is of Steve Jones NOT Sid Vicious, as labelled. I felt the photos let the book down - a lot of them were photos of The Sex Pistols Pre-Sid Vicious.
Found this little book in the garbage. It's not much, certainly not well written or insightful, but it is as short as a punk anthem or a heroin addict's life. If you are lucky enough to find a trashy book about punk trash in the trash, my advice is to take the afternoon off and read it with Malcolm McLaren's trashy "The Great Rock-n-Roll Swindle" on your headphones.
