This is one story that I was anxiously waiting for. Ms. Elle Welch didn't disappoint because she delivered in spades!! I enjoyed seeing Jakari, Qia, and Chandler come together so that we could witness the aftermath of the decisions made in the TOMP series. Qia was a different girl in this book. I loved her in TOMP but the decisions that she made and the reasons behind her decisions in this installment just didn't work for me. She in many ways tainted my opinion of her but all is fair in the name of writing great FICTION!!! Chandler had some issues. When I realized that July was almost an exact replica of Qia I was like OH BOY!!! This fool need to go and SAT DOWN SOMEWHERE!!!! I was one of the very few people who thought that Chandler was DEAD WRONG for being with Qia in the previous series and no matter what some things just bring bad karma back to your space when you indulge in certain actions. It didn't make him a bad person but he totally went against the grain when he crossed that line. I don't care what people say I'm still TEAM JAKARI!! Just something about him that makes his bad behavior forgiveable in my opinion SUE ME!!! Overall I loved this standalone novel and I think that Ms. Elle truly outdid herself. She unlike many authors listened to her readers and gave us another glimpse into the world of previous characters that she created and allowed us to fall in love with the new characters that she introduced. Kudos once again Ms. Elle Welch for providing us with a literary extravaganza that we can re-enter time and time again to capture the magical sensation that only your pen game can solicit!!!!

Chandler, Chandler, Chandler....were do I start. The book was awesome with a couple of unexpected twists. Chandler deserves his happily ever after and I thought that July was perfect for him until I found out she was a doppleganger. You can't go living out your past in your future. He should have been honest with July about everything that went on even if it did look bad on his behalf. The truth always comes out. I was upset with the way Qia handled things both times. You can't have your cake and eat it to and expect to live happily ever after. The ending was abrupt but I did like the last sentence of the book. It showed growth on Chandler's part. Broderick, Kahli and Navia all have issues that they need to deal with. What ever happened to Navia....LOL

Chandler definently loves Qia and, I hurt with him when he found out about the baby. Qia was wrong for having Chandler think for 3 years, he had a kid. I also think that Chandler should have, tried to reach Qia about the child ( they both were wrong). As for July, I understand she was hurt but she gave up to easy. I would have wanted answers to the secrets that were kept. July had put in too much love and time, to just give up. I know what Chandler did to Jakari was wrong but, it is time to move past that and make amends. I was so proud of Chandler at the end when, he decided to be the bigger person and place that call (let's hope he doesn't hang up).

Man on man.. A not mess still

I wanted so much for Chandler to have his happily ever after. But some how at the end of the story it feels like the story needs a part three for his resolution. Chandler though Quia had his baby after the send off sex when she moved. Then Chandler had established a relationship somewhat with July. Then Quia messed up his happiness once again. A hot mess still.

Closure

Not even what I was expecting but I really enjoyed it. July was a great woman but unfortunately Chan couldn't let go of the past to see that until it was too late. I'm glad Qia was honest with him in the end so he would be able to close that chapter in his life. Hopefully he and Jakari will mend their broken relationship. I finally feel like I have closure.
