Health problems hit, but now with book #100 out, I am looking forward to my retirement.
I am not only an avid writer, but an avid reader. I am constantly with a book, whether writing my own or reading someone else's, I am always looking for a new journey and believe that with books and a vivid imagination, anything is possible. I love and thank the readers who bring the stories to life. Thanks for what you add to the books. Your imaginations, added to my own, complete the stories.
This journey has been amazing.
Thanks, family, friends, and amazing readers

Perdish Inn by P.S. Winn is another of the author’s cozy mysteries with her signature futuristic twist. We follow the major protagonists, Ben Walker and Roger Ferguson, along a buddy-buddy cross-country road trip. Only along the way across Montana, they decide to stop at an isolated inn along the highway. Run by an eccentric man called Demond Perdish, they find it to be a unusually influential establishment in the eyes of the local inhabitants. Once they sign in, however, the words of the Eagles’ “Hotel California” comes to the reader’s mind: “You can check in any time you like/but you can never leave”.

Montana’s top indie lit author uses the remoteness of her home state in enhancing the atmosphere throughout the novel. There is also a clever angle in which the characters find themselves in a time warp which compounds the sense of hopelessness. Yet the introduction of Sarah McDowell as Ben’s love interest provides the glimmer of hope that may lead them out of the deadly trap set by Demond Perdish. Can she and Ben find their way out of the inn, or even back to their place in time?

Pick up a copy of P.S. Winn’s Perdish Inn for a trip to Montana you’ll never forget.

First let me say I have read many books by P.S. Winn and I have enjoyed them all. This one is not an exception. She is a masterful weaver of a story and her imagination conjures up scenes and events and characters most of us would never dream of. This book is a mixture of a horror story with a bit of a cross the centuries love story. I won't tell you the plot because to do so would spoil your read. The characters in this tale end up in love after going through a terrible ten years of life and death in what seemed to them to be only hours. The author leaves you wondering who the demon which threatened the hero and heroine so thoroughly is, and making you hope you never encounter this hotel, or the demon proprietor in your travels. I think this book would travel well among any group of readers beyond tweens. I do not think this is a book for young children or tweens. I thoroughly enjoyed the read and highly recommend it to you.

Suspenseful, engaging and takes you to surreal heights!

This is the first book I’ve read by this author but it definitely will not be my last! There is something about P.S Winn’s writing that ensnares and captivates you with her dynamism of words, breathtaking suspense and transfixing paranormal fiction. Every word, every sentence and every page keeps you riveted until the very end. The metaphorical symbolism of ‘Perdish Inn’ did not go unnoticed either nor did the sharpened symbolism. A great, superbly crafted thriller!

Perdish Inn is a strange place, filled with horror and supernatural suspense. Ben and Roger are two friends just looking for help when they step inside. What they find is a thing usually found in the worst nightmares. If you like horror, suspense, mystery and a thriller that adds a touch of supernatural but also shows what true friendship means, this is the one to grab.
