Infected: The Beginning
Second book in the series, Infected
Two months before the end of the Spanish Civil War, the town of Águilas is bombed by five "Pavas" as it was known to the fleet of planes of the Italian air force, which dropped several bombs in the Port, the Railway and Hornillo . Leaving behind many dead, who would later walk again. Angel, a little boy of three years, sees with his innocent look all the barbarism and, in his great adventure, escapes from home, from the Caves, in search of his father. He believes that he has fallen from the sky, like the others, who begin to walk again after seeing the tunnel of light. A persistent odor and a thick mist appear to be part of an experiment. Martin, an altar boy; And Sebastian, a young man who knows Castle Haven well. The whole town retreats to the shelters and there they discover the horrors of the Infected. Included in this work is the first complete part of the "Infected" series, as well as large excerpts from the six parts of the series.

‘Who’s inside that casket?’ ‘Higinia asked. Her gaze was lost in the car’s shape which was to take it to the cemetery, dragged by a tired white horse’.
‘Your husband, mother ‘her daughter said with tears in her eyes’. It’s dad.
‘It can’t be, Gonzalo is sitting on the kitchen chair ‘Higinia answered with a broken voice.
She turned and stooped over into the cave.
Her husband had caught the “green lice disease”, during those four days in the war, when he was declared missing.
And they found him dead.
His wife kept on seeing Gonzalo sitting in his chair.
They called them “perdios”
And the night shadows licked each corner of those caves buried in the mountain, when the sun gave up for one more day.
The Italian airplanes began to roar at the top of the moonless dark sky, breaking silence in two as the tearing of a sheet of paper.
And the bombs burst upon hitting the ground, after a whistled falling. And the light devoured the night’s thick darkness and the gas escaped.
A gas an elderly slinky man breathed, reached by the bomb. He was dead and his heart was lost as well as his two legs.
But he opened his eyes moments afterwards.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I grew up and started writing upon being heavily influenced by the master of terror and drama, Stephen King. I am the author of his first biography as a writer. Furthermore, I have written an anthology based on a box that I had found that allegedly belonged to his father, who was also a writer. Now, I have dedicated my time to writing books of terror, suspense, and thrillers. In Amazon, I have already published my books, ‘The Beginnings of Stephen King’, ‘Stephen King’s Box’, ‘Tom’s Story’, ‘Infected’ a saga about zombies, ‘Midnight Fear’, ‘All Your Life at Your Side,’ ‘Arnie’, ‘Truck cemetery’, ‘Seven Books, Seven Sins’, ‘Bonmati’s House’, and ‘The guardian of the castle’, but these are not the only ones that I intend to publish this year.
