Redeeming Ruth

Rate this book
Abandoned by her mother in Amish Country Sydney Ruth Glynn doesn’t often know where her next meal will come from. Her deadbeat mom, JoAnn, abandons her, sometimes weeks at a time, with no money and an empty pantry. Now JoAnn wants to introduce her to some relatives in Amish country. Sydney agrees to go for the weekend, but when her mom takes off again without her, Sydney’s left with a large group of strangers who look at her as if she’s from another planet. With no job prospects and only a tenth-grade education, Sydney must decide to either try to make it in the world on her own or stay with the people her mother rejected sixteen years ago, including the handsome young Amish man who threatens to steal her heart.

This is the second book I have read from this author. I loved this book and the characters. I'd have to say Sydney and David were my favorite. Sydney's mother was my least favorite. I dislike the way she treated Sydney and they things she did to her. I had so many emotions while reading this book. There were many twist, which made it very interesting. I had to read faster and faster to see what was going to happen next. I highly recommend this book, you won't be disappointed. I hated to see it end. I would give it a 10 star rating if I could.

Redeeming Ruth

Another beautiful story by Tattie Maggard, whom is by far an exceptional author.
This story is so uplifting. As always, with Tatties books, I felt I was living right there, in that moment, with all of them. You will not actually know the meaning of the title until the end. And it is beautiful. Faith/Family/Love is what this story is about. I personally would love to be friends with Naomi, Sydney, Emma, David and Jeb. I am sure there are real people just like them.
Thank you Tattie for such a beautiful story. Loved every moment of it.

I had many emotions as I read Redeeming Ruth, but I was sitting on the edge of my seat mesmerized in this novella. For me, it's hard to explain but it's a novella I would read again and I usually don't read books a second time. That's how amazing Redeeming Ruth is and I highly recommend reading this novella, because I will be reading it again. Author Tattie Maggard wrote a splendid novella. Redeeming Ruth is Novella Two of An Amish of Swan Creek.

God is Forgiveness

No matter what we do, God still loves us. However, we cannot be forgiven unless we continue to forgive those who have come against us.

New Family.

This book was very well written with a lot of suspense. Sydney was left in the Amish community by her mother. It told her story.
