Kira has never had an orgasm, not even by her own hand. When she catches yet another boyfriend cheating, she escapes humiliation by sticking her tongue down the throat of the first guy she sees. Problem is, the seemingly quiet guy she kisses expects an even exchange. If she gets to put her tongue in his mouth, he gets to put his…elsewhere.
It’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for. Tall, dark, and intense, Owl likes control in all things. He unlocks Kira’s body with his touch, but wants absolute control over her pleasure. The problem is Kira wants them to be exclusive, and Owl wants to share his new treasure with the rest of his crew.
Kira believes an open relationship is the same as cheating. Can Owl convince her there is security and devotion in sharing? Or will Kira retreat back to an unsatisfying life of cheaters and liars?
I did not read the first story of the series. this book was interesting but it was not for me. I do not have a problem with menages or multiple partners. My issue was that Kira and Owl while cute together did not belong together. She wants monogamy. He wants to have multiple partners but she will be his number one girl. I did not like that she has to compromise her beliefs especially since she has a history of cheating boyfriends. Just because he is upfront about it by saying I will have others sex buddies doesn't change the fact they are not in a monogamous relationship.
Some how I feel Kira and Owl's story should have been the first book instead of the second as there so quite a bit of their story was featured in Ellie and Hawk's story. A lot of background about Kira and Owl was cleared up as I wondered about them when I read the first book. The story lines are certainly interesting though so I'll keep reading.
This is a good book. Kira and Owl are great characters. This book had the word slurp in it a lot. I think a different word would be better. But this is a good book if you ignore the above word.
a great read. unconventional and honestly compared to other ambw books the relationship progression was healthy, literally something you can see happening in real life. an asian lead that you can imagine as a flesh and blood person who isnt all zen because hes asian but because of he likes control, personally id have liked to see what happens when he loses that control but its satisfying. and finally a female lead that recognizes her problem and doesnt cave or demand to the guy changing himself to solve the problem, wish it didnt end where it ended i think it would have made and alright long read since it wasnt boring or dragging even a two parter would have been great i really wanna know when they decide to be official again but maybe well see that in another book. one of two books with an asian male lead that wasnt stereotyped to create that i can say ive read. this book isnt for you if you dont like the idea of solid monogamy but i thought i wouldnt like it when i figured that out but honestly its more like swingers than anything else. a most read of fans of AMBW fiction
Surprisingly Deep and Moving with a Hot Asian Hero
Owl and Shakira's story was so much better than the first book could even hint at. The author takes us through changes with both characters, even though the story is narrated through Shakira's eyes. And kudos for an Asian lead who burns up the pages! Owl is hawt.
Shakira is not my favorite character, and yet the author is able to show her as a valuable, complicated figure who sometimes doesn't like herself.
Again, there are a number of spelling and grammar issues that sometimes distracted me from the story, but overall the storytelling improved from the first story, and I am looking forward to reading more about this Crew.
AMBW HOT! AMBW HOT! AMBW HOT! I just finished the Watchers Crew Series and I am a changed woman. These books are equal to the 50 Shades of Grey experience for me! I loved them all and the different dynamics presented with each character/book. I thought book #2 was a show-stopper until I made it to book #3 and #4. I finished the last book with a sigh of sadness because the I know the level of passion & loyalty exhibited by these men is fantasy BUT I don't want it to be. Now I have to go be mad at my significant other because he is not them! LOL
This author left no stone unturned intimately. Did I mention the diversity of this series? white, black, brown, spanish, tr-racial, and especially Asian! YES!!
This is a quick erotic read and I loved to learn more about Watchers Crew. This was Owl and Kira's story, whom we met in the first story. It overlapped with the first story and then continued past the ending, so we could check in on Ellie and see what she's doing. I liked the stories and hope there's more.
Wow, just wow again. She wants to control her boyfriends because of her past, but when she asks owl for help when she sees her boyfriend cheating on her she starts something she never thought of.
Great steamy hot read. Owl knows how to take care of her in a very good way
