Chubby Chaser
The first time Cole saw Elena was at the tender age of eight. He knew then that she was the love of his life. Cole has had a crush on Elena from the first moment he say her at age eight. Throughout high school he was teased for being a chubby chaser but Elena never caught on to his feelings. After Elena loses her job as a librarian, Cole gives her a job. at his shop. Elena is a walking klutz but he loves that about her. Now Cole has to figure out how to get Elena to go out with him and believe in what they can have together.
Fun book, a bit quick but I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I liked Cole, he was sweet and so head over heels for Elena. Sam Crescent always writes a book I can thoroughly enjoy.

2.5 stars, good basic plot, bad execution.
This is another chance I give for Sam Crescent's book. I mean, I have read more than one book of hers before because God, I love her ideas! Especially Crescent covers so many themes that I adore; chubby heroine, MFM, erotic novellas, all of these I adore and there are so many titles from her that I want to read. But.. Again and again, her writing disappoints me. Lack of connection between characters, rushed into the hot scenes, and sometimes confusing conversations. Like seriously, I even have to push myself to actually finish this book.
Not sure if I want to give SC another try. But then again we'll see.

Fat shaming is never nice but Sam Crescent focused on this topic pretty well. Loved how Cole was always there for Elena in this cute quick read.

The storyline was ok, but something was missing for me. I can't pint point what exactly bothered me. Maybe it's got something to do with our h, Elena. I don't know, how to feel about her. She has insecurieties. And while a little don't bother me, because hey, we all have them sometimes, but Elenas insecurities made her to doubt Cole and his intentions, when there was no reason. On the other hand maybe partly it was because he didn't talked about his feelings, leaving her to guessing. Cole has problems with expressing himself with words. That was cute but also frustrating. Another thing was despite saying that she loved her body the way it was, Elena took deep into her soul degrading words about her body shape. Once she mused "Would being a bigger girl follow her everywhere?" My answer would be, yes, it will, because dicks/bitches are everywhere. And yes, sometimes words could hurt more then physical pain, but in the end, it's up to you how much power you will give to those words from insignificant people. And Elena sometimes let lots of power to those words, letting them even affect her interaction with a man she has crush on for years.
But in the end, if your attention got caught by blurb and you love BBW sweet romance you may give it a chance.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book
Okay so I enjoyed the storyline of this book, however I don't know if liked Elana. She has been attracted to Cole for a while now, and Cole has been in love with Elana since they were young, but something always seem to be in the way of them getting together. If it wasn't their difference in age, then he was dating or she was dating and then he went to college and something just always kept them apart. But when Elana started working at his DIY store he knew that this was his chance. So he took his shot.
But for some reason there was always misunderstandings, and their dates always seem to end up with her being hurt. And then finding out that Cole was called a 'chubby chaser' made all of Elana's insecurities come out. So for poor Cole this was an uphill battle, but it looked like he was up to the task.
Like I said I enjoyed it, some parts was just too much, like repeating their history and how Cole fell in love with her, and then Elena was one minute happy with Cole and the next minute she didn't trust that he wanted to be with her.

Another Great One
Sam you've done it again. What a beautiful book. Elena and Cole were the absolute best couple. I loved that Cole loved Elena since he was eight years old and she was five. Loved how he saw her really saw her and it didn't matter what size she was. While other people just see what's on the outside never considering what is really important about that person. Sam I don't know how you do it ever time. But you have a true fan in me. Thank you

Short, sweet and smutty, but Elena frustrated me at times with her actions towards Cole in the beginning.

A slow burn but still a very pleasant read.
All the characters were very sweet. I don’t understand what’s this trend with incompetent women while all the men are magically perfect but whatever.
I wish the author would stop using the “he slammed his lips down on hers” so repetitively in each and every book that is written! It’s annoying after twenty plus books I’ve read so far. It’s in each and every one AND you can’t read two pages without it being there sometimes! Please stop!
Besides that, likable characters and likable storyline. Enjoy.

DNF & returned for Refund
Another miss for me from this author. Heroine has slimed around with other men, given her innocence and the connection that comes with it to a meaningless loser, even tho she’s known him since she was a girl.

I didn't hate this book but there were enough problems that I struggle with giving it three stars. The H was a wuss, waiting 23 yrs to make his move. Even then he only did it because SHE came to HIM looking for a job. The H's friends were immature and IMO not that likable, especially Danny.

I liked this story. I liked the chemistry between Cole and Elena. I liked that Cole didn’t care what people thought or said. He wanted Elena to be his for years. When he finally had the opportunity to make her his, he went for it. I found Elena’s clumsiness cute and hilarious. I liked the slow build up to Elena and Cole getting their happily ever after.
I really wanted to slap Tiffany when she said what she said to Cole and Elena. I also wasn’t a massive fan of Cole’s friend Danny.
I love the epilogue for this book! I found it super sweet. I was happy that Elena and Cole were still happy together.

Cole "fanning myself over here" was amazing, a talker in the bedroom is sooo freaking hot...yum!!!!
Cole and Elena were so damn adorable and deliciously hot in the bedroom!! I can't wait for Juliet and Vicent... I also hope Danny a girls too after some much meeded groveling lol!

Cole has been slightly kinda obsessed with Elena.. all there life hes been dubbed the chunky chaser by his friends just cuz he likes Elena who's on the thick side.. Elena has a crush on him and since well hes a handsome guy and was popular in high school he wouldn't want someone like her

Over The Top !!!
It's writers like Sam that make BBW romance novels so over the top good !! I'm always for the "big" girl getting the hot guy and Sam always delivers !! This book certainly has that and humor that we love as well as all the steamy passion we expect in a romance novel. I recommend this to anyone who loves to read.

As always the author does a beautiful job of giving us the best story the best characters and a sumply stunning romance. I totally related to the characters especially Elena as i was that girl in school and i am still that girl now.
I love the author and her books have a special place in my heart.

Female lead was too indecisive. She got on my nerves. But there were times that were funny. Like when she just blurts out. "You've got a nice ass." And another line like "They come out of my brain like farts. The male lead was somewhat weak. He didn't go after her like he really wanted. Nor did he bother telling her how he felt about her. Just a bland mix of leads.

I like this book well enough, it's a classic SC book meaning if you've read one of her books you've basically read them all. Didn't really love or connect with the FMC or MC due to lack of communication but enjoyed the book well enough.
