I loved the idea of using laughter to help us look at the lighter side of life, while still teaching a meaningful lesson along the way. Although some of her stories were from before my time, she made me laugh, made me think, and made me remember the beauty of a simpler time, and that most of what God wants for us is simpler than we make it.

Loved this so much I've read it twice. Just the little pick me up to assure me that I'm not alone in this crazy life as a wife and mother. The wit and humor in this book are my kind of stuff. Can't wait to let it rest and come back and read it again!

I received this book as a gift and found each chapter to be funny as well as inspiring. The author speaks from her own experiences as a wife and mother and ties each hilarious chapter up with a great Christian thought, plus a Scripture.
