Ben Jefferson is accused of murdering his best friend Chad Carter, but Ben has no memory of this. Because he has no memory of the murder, he does not believe it. To add on to his unbelief of everyone around him, he claims that Chad is there in the prison with him! But he has so much evidence against him. How could he have murdered Chad. . . if Chad is in the prison with him, trying to help him escape?

I wrote this book. My sister and I read both versions of this: the fanfiction version (mentioned in the Acknowledgements) and the novel version. It's incredible how far this book has come!
