August 3, 2017DNF'd when the hero wakes up with a club whore that quote, "used to be his favorite", grinding down on his penis and touching him, while he was running his hands up her thighs. He grabs her hands when he realizes she's not the heroine, and proceeds to tell her he's taken and to tell all her whore friends, who he used to fuck on the regular, that he's off the market. He does all this while she's still straddling him and sitting on his dick, and shocker, the heroine walks in on the compromising position. To which he explains that it was all the club whore, he didn't do anything. Except leave her sitting on your penis, right? Nope.

Oh my hell! Brick! He's rough and raw and brutal and loving! Eep! This man so unexpectedly perfectly imperfect! Eden is an amazing woman , a doctor even...you'd never think they'd work but it's a true case of opposites attract and her softness fits perfectly with all his hard edges! She's got a bit of a surprise badass in her too, that I thoroughly enjoyed watching emerge! This was a fantastic angsty romance that kept me entertained! #BringOnBrick

Brick is so intense – there were moments I didn’t know whether I wanted to laugh, cry, or just swoon. Brick is my man – MY HERO! First of all, Charlie Lee starts us off with a jaw dropping surprise that sets the pace for the whole book! If you thought Katch or Zeke was kickass wait until you meet Brick. There isn’t a lot I can tell you about this book because I don’t want to give anything away. I want you to experience Brick as Raw and Gritty as I did! Charlie Lee has written an incredible series and Brick is no different.

Wow! Charlie Lee has a way of writing these amazing opposites attract romance novels. They bring together 2 people who I wouldn't think would work and blow all my expectations.
Brick (Saxon) was a mix of hard and soft. For the ones he loves we got to see this beautiful side to him that even though he was showing sweets he had that feels too him. Now, I wouldn't want to be on his bad side that's for sure.
Eden was tough as nails. We see her at her weakest, but as the story goes on, we see her back bone and huge heart shine and I loved her. She was the yang to bricks ying.
The plot was a fun mix! It was opposites attract, but also, I loved seeing Eden'a deep desires and hardness come out. She wasn't as frail as the story went on and I really enjoyed that. The steam factor in this book is 5+! I was blushing a few times while reading it.
I loved seeing the characters from the other books! From Katch to Amelia it was great to catch up with them and where they are now.
Overall, the Authors have impressed me again! Each book is better then the last. They work so well together that you wouldn't be able to tell it was 2 Authors writing. I can't wait to see what they come out with next! If your looking for a book that will have you on the edge of your seat, laughing one minute and holding your breath the next, then this book is for you! I do recommend reading Hitchhiker and Blank Canvas so you can love the secondary characters as much as Brick and Eden. 5 stars #2OCCJD

I've been sitting her for a while to try and figure out what to put into this review and how to write it, and I can honestly say, I'm stumped. Normally the only time I have these feelings is when a book completely blows me away and I'm left speechless. But now is not the same case.
I'm not left speechless, I'm left confused on what to say. I don't know how to sum this up. I don't know how to explain it. I'm not even gonna lie, there was a few times while reading that I was a little confused and had to go back and re-read, then re-read again.
But even with all that said, I didn't hate it. As a matter of fact, I really liked the story line. I loved the characters and their craziness. I love seeing the coming together of a family, especially in the form of a fierce MC. Always doing whatever they have to do, to protect what and who is theirs. I love seeing someone who is so far out of the biker world being thrown into it and finding their way. It's a beauty in and of its own.
And love either way is an amazing thing to see bloom, and this couple is no different. They are so completely different but fit so perfectly together. They are what each other needed but didn't know it. Even though they were thrown into a crazy situation, they worked to find themselves in each other, for each other. And came out the end even stronger.
Those are the kinds of love and stories I love to read. I wish with everything I had I could of given this a 5 star.
I'm not much of a re-read but I think I'm gonna have to revisit this one and see if my feelings about it are the same. Because even at the ending of this review, I'm still so darn confused. I'm literally torn, and it sucks.

Charlie Lee is an evil genius!! I fell in love with them since they published their first book The Hitchhiker . Brick has been in this series since then. He stayed with Caitlin and in the second book Blank Canvas it was all about his brother Dr Zeke.
Brick is one of the loyalest MFer around. He's loyal to very few people. His MC, his older brother Zeke and his sister-in-law Amelia. So, when Zeke and Amelia ask him to go to Amelia's best friend Zoe's house he does. Brick wasn't ready for what was waiting for him. A lifeless Zoe and her son missing.
Eden has had such a weight on her shoulders. She lives for her sister and nephew Wilder. She knows her sister is keeping things from her and she's ready to put her foot down. Eden is an OBGYN and when she gets the call from her colleague Zeke that his wife went into early labor she goes running. Not only does she deliver their baby she learns her sister was killed and her nephew is missing. She's not sure how she's going to survive. Then, this big bad biker lifts her up, put her on his bike. He might tell her he's a bad guy. But, Eden can tell he's anything but bad.
Brick will do everything to get Eden her nephew back. Him and his club, along with Katch delve into it. They end up getting help from some men you'll know and love if you've read Kathy Coopmans Syndicate Series . Along the way Brick and Eden fall for each other. Man are these two hot,kinky, wild and adorable.
I read this book in less then one day. Brick is just addicting. I didn't want to put him down. Eden was extremely strong, feisty and loving. Eden brought out Brick's soft side and he brought out her badassness lol. And, Katch. I do love me Katch and still get giddy when I see his name under the chapter number. This is another great read from Charlie Lee. Cant wait to see whats next from them.

This is the third book I've read by these two authors. Although each book is a standalone, the characters are all related in some way.
I was completely surprised by what happens at the beginning that brings Brick and Eden together. I guess I saw that playing out differently and was caught off guard with the introduction of Eden, but I love the way things turned out.
Brick (aka Saxon) is a member of a MC. He's loyal to his club brothers and is close to his blood brother Zeke and his wife, Amelia. He comes across as being all bada$$ biker, but we get to see the caring and protective side of him too. He adores Eden and begins to feel something for her pretty early on. Eden is a great character. She's a nurse and worked hard to finish school and get her degree. She's also stubborn to a fault and gave Brick a run for the money on who was more bossy.
I enjoyed Brick's book and hope we get more from these authors as a team.

I have read many books by these authors alone but this is my first time reading them combined !! I enjoyed Brick's story a ton and look forward to finding some time to read Katch and Zeke's stories too.
This is a clear story of opposites attract , people being connected without even knowing and of course horrible people getting what they deserve for the nasty things they do. Brick has always cared for Zoe - she has always been untouchable , a troubled soul with a crap man - his brother and sis in law are her good friends and now as they sense she may be in trouble all the pieces come together and connections are realized that were kept secret for so long. Once Zeke realizes that not only does Zoe and Amelia have a connection BUT so do Zoe and Eden the situation becomes more tangled than they thought and Brick decides to take on the revenge for Zoe and caring for Eden all by himself. I would say heck yes to that too - his ways may seem a bit barbaric and his slang talk a bit off but there is no denying his hotness and the safety one feels with him is undeniable. It may come as a shock to many but an enjoyable shock to read Eden and Brick's relationship play out. In the midst of that you get the suspense and danger of who is who and what has happened to Eden's nephew. As the puzzle pieces slowly fall into place the danger skyrockets and you wonder if anyone will make it out safe and happy. Of course since this is a series of standalones there is a resolution and dare I say a possible HEA ??!!

The book started out with a BANG. To say the beginning shocked this shit out of me would be an understatement - it was totally unexpected but in true Charlie Lee style - expect the unexpected!

This book is face paced and starts off strong grabbing your attention and not letting go until the very end. Brick and Eden meet under a horrible situation and neither are looking or expecting love. Both feel shame and guilt for not doing more to change the outcome of the situation. Their chemistry is raw, real and a force to be reckoned with.

I love nothing more than an opposites attract book and this book has it in spades. From two different worlds Brick and Eden bond over a life-altering event. Saxon "Brick" is in a motorcycle club and has done some shady stuff even killed, whereas Eden is a doctor who brings little ones into the world. They both feel guilty about the circumstances that brought them together and most certainly that guilt piles up when they have an undeniable chemistry between them. When the going gets tough will Eden be able to follow the club rules and accept the help they are trying to give her?
I highly recommend this book!!! All I can say is WOW! This author duo blows my mind. They are really creative and develop the characters well. I will be reading more of Charlie Lee.

I've loved Brick from way back in The Hitchhiker days and now I love him even more. He's pure GOOD, wrapped up in this tough, biker guy life style. Sure, he's a bad boy, but he's a damn good man.
I love the opposites attract theme of Charlie Lee's books. Both characters influence the other to change them slightly on the surface, while still staying true to themselves.

Okay, now that I got that out of the way, let me tell you how amazeballs this book is!!!!
Charlie Lee has gone above and beyond storytelling with another great book!
The combination of these two authors is beyond epic!
Brick a.k.a. Saxon is someone that I couldn't wait to read more about. He has the mystery about him that you just wanted to get to the bottom of.
He was in your face, but also the one that you don't see coming.
Eden is a woman that has been dealt the worst of cards. Her world is crumbling beneath her and she doesn't know how she will recover.
She didn't know that the one person to help her was someone who knew more than anyone what she was going through.
"Take your hands off me, Saxon."
"Not happening until I show you exactly what these hands can do."
This book was not only emotional, but sexy as hell!!

I couldn't get enough of Brick's mouth!

Brick
I went in to this book thinking hard, biker, dark read. I came out of this book forgetting that's what it was. Don't get me wrong it was twisted, they were bikers and it was ful of sex and foul language, but it was also full of love and loyalty and a crap load of emotions.
I adored Brick. Everything about him, from his sex appeal to his loyalty, from his massive cock to his soft heart. He really is the kind of man everyone woman deserves. You wouldn't even need to get past his lifestyle because you fall in love with it because it is who he is and he's just amazing. Well at least I think so.
As always the supporting characters are amazing. Especially Katch, he will always be, not sure I will ever get sick of that man. But Brick is it for me, but I doubt I could take Mitts Bear so I guess he will only be mine in my head.
The story line was amazing, the little aspects you don't see coming to the main events. Everything flowed well. Timeline was on point, no major gap no skipping steps.
The love story was everything it needed to be for these characters. Not all characters could have pulled it of, it was quick, dirty and intense. But you felt it and you felt for them. You wanted them to get a HEA, they deserved one after all the shit they went through. It's awesome how tragedy could bring them together and rip them apart.
Definitely a book I need in paperback on my shelf so I can stare at its sexy cover and read it over again. 5 stars for me based on Brick's character and the emotions the book brings out.

You wanted them to get a HEA, they deserved one after all the shit they went through. It's awesome how tragedy could bring them together and rip them apart.
Definitely a book I need in paperback on my shelf so I can stare at its sexy cover and read it over again. 5 stars for me based on Brick's character and the emotions the book brings out.

Brick was everything and so much more!!!! Charlie Lee have out done themselves yet again folks!!!
Well folks, the dynamic duo known as Charlie Lee have out done themselves again. Ever since I was introduced to their writing when I read “The Hitchhiker” I knew they have won me as a reader and fan FOREVER. Their writing is no holds bar that will have you hooked from the very first line that you read. It was this way when I started to read Brick, I was giddy with excitement because I wanted to read his story from the very first time I was introduced to him in the first and these lady did his story justice man.
Brick was everything I love in a male lead character, his naughty, dirty mouth and all alpha male when it came to Eden, a tragedy caused these two to come together in a relationship that neither Brick nor Eden was looking for but needed all at the same time. The chemistry and passion that these shared was beyond electric man, you could feel it coming off the pages of the book because it was that strong between them. Not only do we get some hot AF sex scenes we get the suspense aspect of the book that will take you on a wild ride that you will have no other choice but to buckle up your seat belts folks.
I’m sitting here trying to figure out who’s story will come next because of course these ladies did not give anything away as to which one of the other men will get their book next. All I know is that I will remain on the lookout for it, either way it will be getting read ASAP.

Ok so I gave the first book, The Hitchhiker a four star rating because I liked the characters. I love strong women who don't take anything from anybody. I like strong men who are protectors. Both those characters are that. In the second book, I couldn't connect the characters Amelia (Bluebird) and Zeke, older brother to Brick the hero in this story. They were likable but not enough to say I really liked the book.
Three stars isn't a bad review to me. It means I liked the book, the writing, the characters but it just wasn't a home run. I'm of the belief that the authors are decent enough but I'm not sure where the hype comes from.
All that being said this book had some good traits, a strong woman, a stronger man and a sad subplot that keeps everyone going. I just felt there were way too many sex scenes in this book in the midst of something so scary. I honestly think they spent about 30% of the book in bed. I think that's where the story was lost for me. I skimmed over most of those scenes after awhile because yeah, we get it, Brick is good in bed.
The story just didn't add up for me and I know it's fiction but and I love romance books but I need a plot and while it had so much potential here, it just didn't follow through with it.
If there is a fourth book it may get added to my tbr but it will be a long time before I actually get to it because I'm thinking there is more hype than grit to the whole story.

Brick is my first read by Charlie Lee and it’s a good story; filled with tragedy, hope love and what happens when opposite people find each other. Brick (Saxon) has done some shady things in his life being member of Hell’s Love MC but has no regrets about them. Eden is not afraid to fight for what she thinks is right as a physician she feisty and passionate. Eden meets Brick under a horrible situation that brings them together. Eden has no idea why she trust Brick when they first meet, Brick tough and rough around the edges and takes charge dirty talking biker but she knows she can trust him with her life. Brick and Eden start to feel some guilt when the chemistry becomes undeniable between them and they don’t try to stop it. Brick promises to bring Eden nephew home and he never lies so he will to do anything to keep that promise to her and what Brick needs is for Eden to completely trust his words. Can Eden trust Brick and Hell’s Love MC? Will Brick open up to Eden? Can these too pull through all the ugly and find there happiness?

Brick is a broody, tough as nails, yet sensitive and introspective biker. Eden is a doctor whose sister, Zoe, is in a bad relationship. Eden and Brick don't know each other and unfortunately get to meet when Zoe's body is discovered and her son is missing. Brick and his MC club take on the mission to find Zoe's son and avenge her death.
Brick is a story of insta-love with two people who couldn't be more different and from different perspectives. Eden is the higher-educated doctor with her own practice and life that accompanies that. Brick is the hardened biker for whom violence and crime is a way of life. The devastating circumstances that brings these two together brings about a bond that would otherwise never happen. The story is set at a quick pace with a lot of side characters that have appeared in other books. I was, at times, a bit distracted as to how these other characters fit into the whole but not too badly as this story can standalone with the romance between the leads and the race to find the missing boy sharing equal time.
I am assuming the side characters and their books are from the authors that make up Charlie Lee and have been done individually then combined their talents and characters for this book as I cannot find other books in this series under the Lee name. Overall this is a decent MC / Romance read with a good story and strong characters.

Brick is built like a brick house he says what is own his mind and takes no prisoners.
He is watching how his friends even his brother are all settling down and having families. He wants that but only with one woman and she is taken she has a small son and a low life boyfriend and he knows something is not right with that relationship and would have loved to take her and her son out of it.
This is big for Brick he is a hardened biker, he goes to check on this lady and finds her and not in a good way.
Her young son and abusive boyfriend are missing. Eden is a doctor and is the secret sister of this woman. She needs to find her nephew. Brick is also on that mission. He loved her sister or so he thought. Brick starts to feel things for Eden, but they are total opposites and he is so gruff and doesn't care what he says to her, which she is not used to. With all of this going on these two need to work together to get her nephew Wilder back.
Will they succeed, their chemistry even though they are different is broiling Hot an inferno.

Man oh man how did I miss this author? So the story line draws me in along with the hub bub but right from the beginning Brick will be the one that whispers in your ear with the kaos that follows to keep you a willing prisoner. He also captivates you with his heart that beats behind the core he presents to most except one. When Eden has a life altering event happen in her life you are wrenched right along with her thanks to the well written way it is done in this being able to reach out to you graphically. Beware though they will tear you apart through out with this one from start to finish. The raw and vibrant characters do that with the magic created with the words. When the drama revs up with the suspense you are on edge with anticipation of it all. Life goes deep here with you getting everything out of this with pieces of the authors attached. When you reach the end check to makes sure you are back together in one piece and you did not leave any in there behind.

Brick’s and Eden’s story is a very pulling detective/romance thriller. Lot of mystery is going on and the reader is given space to speculate about the plot. Charlie managed to keep the pleasurable tension of not knowing how will it all play out throughout the book.
Brick surprised me as a character. He was full of contradictions – romantic, sweet and criminal. Brick was tough but had the best intentions.
What really surprised me was how Charlie managed to make a happy ending love story out of such a heart ache. The story started with a heartbreaking murder and terrible kidnapping and transformed into a thrilling romantic story.
There was a lot of through put into Eden’s mental recovery. Many of the book’s lines were very inspiration for real life.
Little warning – if gangs, murder, illegal activity is your hard limit, you might want to put this book away. But if you like them – you will love this book for sure!

I was given a copy of Brick for my honest opinion. Brick was the third book in a what has become one of my all time favorite series, I have ever had a chance to read!! Each is stand alone(something I love, I don't care for cliffies!)
Brick does not disappoint, I couldn't wait to read this man's story! AND I LOVED him!!! I gotta say I really loved his dirty talking biker mouth.A LOT!!!LOL His soft side owned me, HARD!!
Eden came into the story early on, and it was surprising to say the least, how that came to be, but just what I have come to expect from Charlie Lee!! As for Brick & Eden as a couple, talk about opposites attracting!! But they really are AMAZING together, you never doubt that they belong together or their love for each other!!
This book is like all the others in this series, you hate to see them end. Don't miss out on this AMAZING series.

Brick is tough, sexy, and has an amazing way with words...His life is a life of his blood family and his biker family. He knows some lines may get blurry, but his heart is always in the right. One fateful night Brick and Eden are brought together and when opposites attract this is the couple.
Loved the passion Brick has to do what is right for Eden and help her gain her trust to love him. Eden's passion is finding her nephew and finally feeling the love a man can get her.

Oh. My!
Please don't let this be the end of this series!! Pretty please!! Although I am it sure how much more my heart can take, I don't want to see the end of this series!
Brick eats, sleeps, breathes this club. He will do anything for this club and his brothers, who came to his aid when he was sinking fast after a foamy tragedy. He takes no prisoners and doesn't give a f.......until Eden. She sneaks in and wraps herself round his stone cold heart.....and he brings her back from the edge when tragedy strikes, throwing them both together.
Lord this book was fast paced and gritty and I could not put it down! Throw in the Diamond family and you know nobody is playing! It's going to get messy, very messy. Buckle up butterflies!

Amazingly Well Written
When you take two very well known authors and place them together, one tends to get one amazing well written story. I would had been totally disappointed if there wasn't tons of sex and miles of action in the story as these two authors are known for. Thank goodness for some miracles. The storytelling is so beautifully crafted that I felt I was there witnessing all events and the storyline is so delicately balanced with reality that I had absolutely no reason to believe the story could not be a true event. I will highly recommend this book to my friends and family members. Very well done ladies!! ❤

I don't even know where to begin with this gental giant. He plays a tough game, but when the chips are down he knows how to pony up real quick. He knows how to be sensitive and caring and show that softer side that he tries to hide.
Eden is not the delicate flower we all think she is either. She is a sassy, spunky, spit fire with a heart of gold. She is wild in the sack, which pleases Brick :)
I loved that they got to tell their story...it made my heart happy!

Charlie Lee is a new author for me. It is the duo of Kathy Coopmans and HJ Bellus, what an amazing team!
The cover....that guy is hot! And the inside is just as hot, filled with seriously well written sex. Action packed and fast paced, this was such a good book. I plan to read anything else that comes up by this team of authors.
Opposites attract in this story, a biker and a OB/GYN doctor. Don't let the title of doctor fool you though, Eden is a tough lady. I love the combination of a bad ass alpha biker and a smart feisty doctor, it made for a great romance.

Ever read a book that leaves you with you don't even know how to review it? This book is intense, emotional, raw, and gritty all combined. We meet Brick a hard headed strong man that is straight forward without a care. Right at the beginning your heart is bleeding for the characters. Searching for the light that blinds the darkness. The author makes you gasp and cry out to help everyone in this book. Brick & Eden fall for each other hard and fast and she has a lot to learn about the MC way of life.
This book is sexy with a touch of sweet, and at times violent. But always keeps you engrossed in the lives of the people in this story. Even with the explicit content, authors Charlie Lee leave room for a scene or two that will move yiu to tears.
