My name isn't Callum Coldwell, and I'm on my last nerve
With the fate of the world placed squarely on my shoulders and the daughter of the woman I love hunted by a group of gypsies who want to make her their queen, I didn't things could get any worse.
Of course, that was before my brother came back.
That's right. It's family reunion time. With Abel mysteriously risen from the dead, my slaughtered sibling wastes no time in letting me know how he feels about me. There's nothing like a couple bullets to the chest to really get your point across.
But what does he want, how is he hear, and why is my soul suddenly being sucked into the afterlife every time I suffer fatal injuries?
My resident witch seems to think it's related to one of the sins of my past. So we go on a trek to make right the worst things I did wrong in order to free me of this new fold in the curse and save Merry's daughter and the world at large. But lists can be long, and my list of mistakes is downright biblical.
The clocks ticking for me and the world. And when I find out what my brother is really up to, I might just have to kill him all over again.
I'm really enjoying this series and will read to conclusion, however the editing of this book detracted from the story. The Kindle edition I bought has so many typos, names without capitols and a whole chapter where the character's name goes from Wilma to Wanda back to Wilma.
I would recommend to anyone looking for something different to read. Only one thing wrong is that it kept repeating the same thing about the main character.
I really enjoyed this third addition to the Immortal Mercenary series. From the beginning, I just fell in love with this series, and this book is just as good as the first two. Cain really cares for his friends, and the way Mr. Kressley writes shows this affection very well. In every book I've read by him, he does extremely well in this area. Also, the plot was very interest and engaging; I couldn't wait to find out what was happening next. Yes, I do have to admit there were a few errors here and there, but they weren't bad at all. I am really looking forward to the next book!
