Dirty Biker

Rate this book
Ian Maxwell has always had a passion for motorcycles. He belongs to a club, and works with his father at the motorcycle shop that they own. While he’s brilliant when it comes anything bike related, he’s not so good when it comes to dealing with people. And his love life, in particular, is non-existent. He’s a good-looking man, with a rough exterior that most people find hard to penetrate, and it’s not often that you see his softer side. That’s until he meets the beautiful Eliza.

Eliza Hammond is a fun-loving party planner, with a passion for life and people. When she gets offered a job in Arizona, she takes it – not just because the job sounds great, but also to get away from her abusive ex-boyfriend. Eliza is not looking for love, especially after her last relationship. Of course, life doesn’t always work that way. But is the tough Ian Maxwell right for someone as outgoing and playful as her?

Can opposites really attract?

Dirty Biker is a hot romance that includes 3 bonus novels for a limited time.

This was an interesting read. I enjoyed reading it, it just didn't blow me away. Eliza is ready to get away from her abusive boyfriend and so after an incident packs and leaves to take the job offer in Arizona, a different state. She ends up loving her job and jumps right in planning a fundraiser for a biker club with a coworker. This is where she meets Ian. They are drawn to each other from the beginning and kinda just go with the flow. They have a connection that keeps bringing them back together but they aren't really looking for anything or defining/talking about what they do have. This book moved along at a fairly good pace, it just didn't have that connection for me. I had expected a little bit more from the 2 characters and their relationship and I just didn't feel that I got it. It didn't seem to be anything specific that I can really pin point so it might not both anyone else. It just affected my rating on the book. The story did have some action, but not a whole bunch. It deals more with Eliza and Ian and what is going on in their normal everyday lives. There were things that I felt maybe should have been a bigger deal than they were taken for in the book and that played a part on me not feeling a connection as well. But the story was entertaining and I really didn't have any trouble reading it.

Eliza was in a dead end. Her job was incredibly boring and her boyfriend was an alcoholic and a abused her. Then she gets some great news. She was offered her dream job out of state. She decides to take the chance as leaves her ex-boyfriend behind. When she arrives at her new job as a party planner, she gets thrown in the deep end quickly. She and a new coworker/friend have to plan a fundraiser for a biker's wife that has cancer. At the part, she finds out that the bikers aren't as bad as she had heard. She even meets one, Gunner who makes her forget about her ex.
Ian or Gunner as everyone calls him, is a man of few words and loves motorcycles. He is a member of an MC run by his dad. He works for his dad in a bike repair shop. He and his dad have frequent run-ins. Gunner doesn't talk to clients unless forced and then he is short and to the point. His dad also wants to hire new help in the garage but Gunner wants to keep it in the family. When he goes to the fundraiser, he meets Eliza and is drawn to her. Being with Eliza changes him. He begins to talk a lot more and his temper and restlessness calms. Everything is going well until his dad gets sick and Eliza's ex comes to town.
This is a good book with a surprisingly sweet romance, I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

As MC romances go this one wasn't that bad. It had its hot and steamy part but it really didn't give much background or information on the MC, so if you like to find out about the clubs this may not cut it.
Ian, aka Gunner, is the only member of his family that is committed to the club. His father is president. Ian ha a huge chip on his shoulder throughout the story when it comes to his father and his brothers. He is quick to get angry and sometimes rushes to judgement before he looks at things.
Eliza needs to get away from her abusive boyfriend so she accepts a job offer as a party planner in Arizona. She has told no one about what her boyfriend has done to her. Once in Arizona she becomes friends with Mae quickly. Her first party is for the club and she meets Gunner.
This story shows how Eliza (lashes) and Ian (Gunner) try to decide if their relationship is real or just friends with benefits.
What the learn is the other is there to help them through the rough times - Ian when Eliza's mom doesn't believe her about the abuse and Eliza with Ian's dad.
I like the interplay between Eliza and Ian and felt the relationship was believable.
I received this book and am giving an honest and voluntary review.

*** I am voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Reader Copy of this book***
This book was a borderline read for me..2 1/2-3 stars, just barely OK. I think the name is a misnomer, this is NOT a MC book, other than the H belongs to what sounds like a weekend warriors type club. Ian, club name Gunner (we're never told why), owns a motorcycle repair shop with his father who is the president of this MC. All through the story, Ian feels disrespected, undervalued, and unappreciated by his father, almost borderline whiney. Eliza escapes an abusive relationship and is starting life over in Arizona. I dint dislike her character, but felt no real connection to her. The book struggled at times for me, too much info and then not enough about something else. What helped in the end actually was the epilogue and that"s unfortunate...I waited till the end for my favorite part of the book. With the title and the cover, I expected something else and was disappointed. Since this appears to be the first book in a family series, I hope it gets better from here.

I didn't love it but it wasn't bad just not as "intense" for me. Starts off kinda slow...but doesn't full speed up like you would expect for a MC book. Ian/Gunner is a mechanic and member of the local MC. His father is in charge of both. The MC is trying to clean up their image but the media is always trying to make them appear worse then they are.
Eliza just left her abusive boyfriend and moved to Arizona to start a new job as a party planner. She instantly loves it there and makes a friend right away with her co-worker. She likes spending time with Ian but doesn't want to be in a relationship after just leaving one. It has some drama and ups and downs...dual POV.

Ian always tries his hardest to make his father proud and lives and breathes for motorcycles. Eliza is ready to move to another state for a job and to escape her current relationship. Instant attraction blooms, but Eliza is hesitant after her past. Will Ian be able to take his life by the horns and tell his father how he feels? Will Eliza's past come between the two?

This was a new author for me and I loved the book. I'm a sucker for a big bad biker who when it comes to his woman is a softy and protective. Loved Eliza's characters determination not to give up on relationships despite her past. Great book and definitely recommend to MC lovers!

A well written story about a biker and an eventplanner. The story has a normail pace. The story does not go that much into details. There are a bit of action but that much. Ian is a member of a MC Club and has a MC workshop but that is also it when it comes to mc theme. I would not have called it a mc romance book.
Sometimes I missed information in a situation and other times there was way to much. Almost bordered to boring.
Ian feels sometimes like a spoiled child when he is with his dad.
The chemistry between Ian and Eliza was okay but all in all it could have been more.

Great!

I chose this rating because I really enjoyed this book. I really enjoyed the characters. Elisa was a sweet girl. She had an abusive boyfriend, but she left his crazy but. She moved to another city got her a great job and met her a nice man named Ian (Gunner). He was in a motorcycle gang. Her old controlling boyfriend tried to get her back. Of course that was a no go. Gunner popped him in the mouth. Elisa told her mom about what her old boyfriend did to her. Her mom didn't believe her at first, but she eventually came around. Even thing turned out to be alright. She and Gunner was a great couple, and they lived happily ever after. Great read.

I enjoyed reading this book, but I felt that there were some things that maybe could have been expanded on. Eliza moved away from home for a new job, and to get away from an abusive ex-boyfriend. Ian works at the family motorcycle shop, and is part of a motorcycle club that his dad runs. Their personalities don't match, but somehow they fit together. Eliza brings out the softer side of Ian, and builds his self confidence. Ian helps Eliza believe in love again.

First time reading from the author.

I liked the book cover. The story was a good read, it was slow in spots. It was different from other MC biker books that I have read.
Raymond is a piece of work. I don’t like his character, I so want to throw him into a room, lock it and throw the key away.
Some of the other characters were likable. At the start Ian didn’t seem rough enough, he seemed more like a spoiled brat and whinny, disrespectful around his dad. Ian and Eliza have chemistry.

Got ARC for an honest review.
Thank you for letting me read your story.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for an honest review. This a pretty good book. it doesn't tell you much about Ian's past. He belongs to a biker club where his dad is president. All his brothers belong, but they aren't involved with it.
Ian has an attitude through the whole book where he doesn't like anybody but.his best friend.
Eliza leaves an abusive boyfriend in California and moves to Arizona for a new job. She instantly fits right in and starts planning a party for a biker club where she meets Ian.

I have to start out by saying I thought the beginning of this book was a bit on the slow side. I almost gave up but then decided that I make the commitment to read these books and followed through. I can tell you that the story is a sweet one. It's not a typical MC alpha male book which is okay every once in awhile. What I did really like about the book was the way the characters came to life, you will either love them or hate them. I like books like that because they're unpredictable. I Voluntary read an advanced reader copy of this book.
Eliza leaves California in the middle off the night after another drunken rant by her abusive alcoholic boyfriend. She drives out to Arizona where she has accepted a job at a party planning company. Ian works in a family owned biker shop & is a member of the local MC . They meet during a Donation Benefit organized by the club.
The dialogue between Ian & Eliza was highschoolish. Ian has real daddy issues and I must say I was actually irritated by him. He came across as a petulant little boy always looking for Daddy's praise & approval.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Okay, so this is the first book I have read by Alycia Taylor and I can't wait to read more from her!! I really liked this book. It started out kind of slow in the beginning but that is to be expected because they had just met and such. However, as the book progresses, it really heats up. It is but isn't like your typical MC Romance story but it worked out for this book and story line. Get this book and you won't regret it!

This is not your typical MC read. Ian/Gunner belongs to the MC club his father is the head of and his also a mechanic at the motorcycle shop they own together. Eliza is new in town and a party planner. Gunner and Eliza are opposites and they definitely have chemistry. Will they find a way to make it work? This was an entertaining read, I liked the characters and the story was a bit sweeter and less violent than your normal MC read. I liked it.

Eliza has just left an abusive relationship and has moved away to Arizona she also has a new job as a party planner.
Ian is a mechanic in his dad's shop, he's also a member of the local MC. They are trying to promote their cleaner image but media outlets don't help.
Eliza enjoys her friendship with Ian but isn't ready for anything else after the last one.

I love MC romances. This one is a little different in terms of the character of Ian. He is more insecure than what you usually see in terms of a MC member. Eliza and Ian are drawn together. She has serious issues with an ex and he is not that sure of himself in romantic relationships. They seems to bring out a strength in each other. It does start off a little slow but the author is taking time to build up the relationship and characters.

I felt this story was slow to start and mediocre, it's not a typical mc romance and Ian/Gunner was like a spoilt brat with his dad.
It was an ok story but I think it could've been a whole lot more, it was quite sweet and I think more for the YA readers

I'd not read anything by Alicia before and I received an advanced readers copy and I voluntarily leave my own opinion.

I received an arc of this book for a honest review.

Based on the description, I expected a bit different story but I was not disappointed. This book started off a little slow. I thought it would have been better with a few more action scenes though. That being said overall I think the author did a good job.

Oh man...I didn't think I would ever get finished with this one! Talk about a slow start....it almost felt like watching paint dry. The storyline was okay; the characters were not as developed as I hoped they'd be; the story had a few twists but not enough to keep my full attention. HEA? You betcha! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and had a tough time finishing it.)

It's OK

This book was OK for me. I don't know what kind of MC club that was but it's not your usual club and I'm saying that in a bad way. And all that crap about the ex but the drama was a dud for me. The sex could have been better and the connection between them a lot stronger.

Dirty Biker wasn't what I would consider a MC romance, but it was still good. I loved Ian/Gunner and Eliza. For me it started off a little slow, but it did pick up. The confrontation with Eliza's ex-boyfriend could have been drawn out a little bit more. Overall it was a decent book.

Fate keeps throwing two opposites together and neither are looking for love . Eliza moves to another town in an effort to get away from an abusive boyfriend. This is where she meets Gunner and they are attracted to each other. Lots of family drama and some twists. An ok read but nothing spectacular.

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. I rated this book at 3.25 stars. Though I enjoyed this book, it was a bit tame or vanilla for an MC story, especially with the title being Dirty Biker. It's a sweet story of falling in love with your knight in shining armor.

Dirty Biker?

First of all this isn't a book it is a novella. I just read the first book. I can not review all of the others.

Ian/Gunner is not a dirty biker. He is a quiet, shy guy. Not what I expected when I got the book. He is a Daddy's boy. He does what he says.....real strange. Did enjoyed the book. No explicit sex scenes. A sweet book.

I voluntarily read a copy of this book and it was good, not quite what I was expecting for an MC story. It started out a bit slow but the overall the storyline was good, it was more of a sweet romance not the Alpha MC usually portrayed. Characters are engaging, although at times act a bit childish instead of taking charge. Overall I gave 4 stars.

He is gruff and stand offish. She is fun loving and outgoing. They are like oil and water. Can they meet in the middle and blend? This was so exciting and fun, hot and enjoyable. I couldn't put it down. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
