Enjoy the first three books in the Tree's Hollow Witches Series.
Brewing Love
When Lenora “Lenny” Brewer finds herself fed up with her life in the city, she flees to her Aunt’s bed and breakfast in the small town of Tree’s Hollow. A local handyman turns up dead, and Lenny gets herself mixed up in a murder mystery.
Add in a hunky forest ranger, her dream job as an investigative journalist for the local paper, and a cat with so much sass it’s practically criminal, and you’ve got a recipe for a magically good time. Oh and one more thing, Lenny didn’t even know she was a witch until she arrived at her new home in Tree’s Hollow.
Will she learn to harness the craft brewing inside of her, or will trouble boil over and destroy everything she comes to love?
Brewing Trouble
Aunt Kara wants to rename the Tree’s Hollow Bed and Breakfast, so she holds a contest to find the perfect new name. The prize for winning the contest?
Death.
That wasn’t Kara’s intention, but there’s another murder none the less. At least this time the body wasn’t found in the inn.
Why would someone kill the winner?
Brewing Boys
Nathan's fate is in Lenny's hands. Will he survive the vicious attack that left him broken in a hospital bed?
Esme, Lenny, and Jezebel race against time to get justice for Nathan and restore the balance between dark and light in Tree's Hollow. Brewing is suitable for readers of all ages who enjoy lighthearted paranormal cozies. Get the fourth book in the Tree's Hollow Witches Series, Brewing Fun, here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074FN6SH9
Sara Bourgeois is a Midwesterner through and through. She spends her time writing, reading, herding cats, and standing in her driveway during tornado warnings. (You can't see them from the basement.)
This book has it all except sex. Sorry, no sexy scenes. What it does have is giggles, mystery, a little thriller and a terrific cat with a funky attitude. A very, very entertaining afternoons light read. Can't wait to read more about Jezebel and the crew.!
What more do you want in a book. A book with a investor involved in murder. Mix in magic and a ranger, along with a witches Cat with attitude. Now throw in a little high jinks and there you have a perfect mystery. A must read for a laugh and giggles. A very cleverly written murder mystery. One you will thoroughly enjoy reading.
Good writing and a clear story makes for perfect reading . It was a smooth paced story full of curious twists that kept compelling the reader forward. You have good character development . The only negative I find is the summation at your epilogue which needs strengthening . It's too tidy and like a complicated plot it's bound up in a short summary instead of the rest of the story which has life. Well done and in t he to include you in my short list of writers to follow closely.
Creative and fun with a dash of depth! I enjoyed the pace this went at. It's light and yet it ventures in yo a little more depth as you go. It never dragged. Leaves a lot of room to learn more about many of the characters. By the author's not rushing in to detail about all of them at once. I read a review on here about the next book having a rush feel to it. I sure hope this new yo me , author keeps steady and doesn't allow her books to suffered due to feeling pressure of a schedule when she supposed to put out a book. Loved this series❣️💖💖💖
I truly loved this set of 3 books. Right from the start I was laughing to myself, feeling bad for Lenny, to the point of saying out loud, " oh that poor girl....." I would stay up for hours just to read. ( knowing I had to get up early the next morning) Just one more chapter.... It's easier said than done reading her books. I absolutely loved it! Can't wait to start the 4th book in this series. I would like to after I finish this review but I have to be up in 5 hours. Maybe I'll just read the first chapter. :) Ha! Like that'll happen. Thanks
I liked the characters in this book. Lenore is a witch, although she has only just realised it, Jezabel is her cat and familiar. There are loads of adventures, and a visit from a spirit, that weave a magical aura over Lenore. This was a great book that kept me entertained for a while. I look forward to reading more from this author.
This is a cute series and I have enjoyed it so far, however it really needs much more editing for grammatical errors. There are a lot over when to use the word " I " or the word " me. " It is starting to drive me crazy. Lol! Other than that this is quirky and very humorous.
I have to say that I wish there were more character and story development. On day the main character is a "normal" person then the next day her cat is talking and she is a witch. Also, in my opinion, the stories have so much more potential than they are being given. But, that being said, I an enjoying this series and an looking forward to the next book!
I really enjoyed this story. Just the book to read and relax . If course, witches and demons along with other great characters were just wonderful. Thanks and can't wait for the next one.
Book 3 in the series about Lenny who leaves her old job and life and moves to Trees Hollow with her aunt. Once there she discovers she is a witch. Everything about the series is fine except the characters are weak.
Very enjoyable reading with some fun, a little mischievousness and intrigue. I do think the character were good, but maybe a little more depth to them.
One book out of the three were honest cozies. This book set is misrepresented as being a cozy. I have reviewed each book individually as I read them over the last year.
