Robert J. Crane was born and raised on Florida's Space Coast before moving to the upper midwest in search of cooler climates and more palatable beer. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in English Creative Writing. He worked for a year as a substitute teacher and worked in the financial services field for seven years while writing in his spare time.
Oh man, why does it seem to end so quickly. This series has been my go to since getting the first book. Great job Mr. Crane. Keep up the great work.
Oh man, why does it seem to end so quickly. This series has been my go to reading source since getting the first book. Great job Mr. Crane. Keep up the great work. Come on Sienna and take Rose down!
Throughout this book, I was on edge. I was never able to just settle and take a breath. Much like Sienna. And whilst with some books that feeling of being off balance can be a little too much, this was, for me, perfectly judged.
You may feel like Sienna has been here before. But I don't think she has. Yes. She has faced seemingly overwhelming odds. Yes, she has previously defeated the big bad. But always with help. Even if that help was only from within. This? This feels different. And I don't think that she is going to come out of this the same person.
In fact, I don't think I'm even talking to the author right now. Particularly since this book might have made me well up - you know, just a little bit.
I get the feeling though that things may get worse before they get better.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This book series can do no wrong. They are my solution to everything. Going into a reading slump? Read another book about Sienna. Happy? Continue the happiness. Annoyed? Read about the best fictional character beating the shizle out of people! Sad? Take an educated guess on how to fix that one.
This series has too many books to really do proper reviews for them all without them all kinda blending together into a bada$$ blob, but there is one part of this that needs some recognition. The fact that so many people came to help out Sienna. We read so much from just her perspective, about her thinking she has no one left in the world, that I actually shed a tear reading about all the people who are there for her.
Robert J. Crane does it again! I can't get enough Sienna Nealon!
Sienna continues her journey through Scotland with the deck stacked against her like it never has been before. ( Which is really saying something for her) We learn our newest villain has an intriguing back story that sounds very familiar. The love her friends have for her is highlighted in a way that warms her heart and terrifies her at the same time.
Awesome read!! Thankful the installments come in regular intervals!
Great addition to the series. Can't wait to see how Sienna will get out of this mess. It made me feel sorry for Rose a little by getting some of her back story. She is not an easy character to feel empathy for. She is so evil that there are no redeeming points in her. She is so vindictive that you really want her to get what she deserves. I would recommend this story to anyone who likes an adventure with a whole lot of attitude and snarky humor.
I was going to save this book till my holiday. But as soon as I saw the email telling me it had been delivered to my kindle I thought I'd take a little peak. Well that was the idea. One finished book later and I'm now counting the days till December 1st. Thank you Robert J Crane you are a fantastic author I have loved every single Sienna book. I am so glad I downloaded the girl in the box by accident 26 books ago.
Simply amazing! Just seeing how defeated Sienna really was made the plot that much more heart pounding! I also like how her sibling relationship with Reed was restored. Getting to see how hard Sienna had to push herself to avoid Rose while read rushed in to help really enforced the whole "race against time" vibe I was picking up on. As always, I am seriously looking forward to the next book. Can't wait!
Would like to shoot you about now Robert, this better not come out the way it's looking. You've messed with us (your readers) before but your getting so much worse. Hope everyone doesn't pack up and find a different author. Not to mention it would be nice to find out what happened to the end of some of your other series: Sanctuary/Lukessia, Mira Brand, Voiceless, etc.
I hope their is going to be a good twist in the next book and sienna gets the. Baddies she can't stay their to die this book I couldn't put down like all the rest of girl out and in the box I'm going to read Mira now until my December book comes out rose is a real peace of work and I know you have to have a baddie but hey give Sienna a break
Probably not the best idea to read such a long series back to back....the last 10 books (at least) have been redundant & I find myself skipping major amounts in each chapter as they are just violence depicted in a few different forms. I gave it 2⭐️ largely because I have to see what happens at the end of this trilogy
Sienna is powerless, on the run, & having a hell of a time. Very emotional read. Even though I hate what's going on for her, I find myself completely enthralled. I don't know if the evil Rose Saga will be complete in the next book, but I'm glad I don't have to wait for it to come out. On to the next read…
This two now three book story line is so boring that after having read 26 books I am done with this series. The decision to continue this story line into yet another book is a poor one and again boring and frankly silly. What a waste of time and money. It is a shame as until this drawn out silliness this was a good series
Did not realise how much I missed the team in the last book till they popped up in this one. What a block buster, on the edge of my seat from page to page! Bravo Robert j Crane
Anyone who has read books from this series will not want to miss this trilogy. Just wish the next book was out now as I don't want to wait until December. Great read.
This is the first time I think Sienna has had a SERIOUS threat on her life. I honestly can't wait to see what happens, because will Reed give up? What do you think?
Although I enjoyed each book they were becoming a little 'samey' with similar story lines. Good to see a change without losing the excitement and page turning content..
This didn't seem like it was a whole book more or a serial installment. There was a lot of filler as Crane repeated the same stuff twice. This should have been called book 15 1/2 .
Love this series...Robert J. Crane is an amazing author & story teller. I do not like to give the story away when I do reviews but I think one of my favorite "one liners" in this book is when Kat says..."I AM GROOOOT!!!!!
This book went much slower to me than the previous ones. I know the story needs to be set up but I found myself skimming as much as possible and still understand what was going on.
No spoilers but for those fans of this series things look pretty bad for our heroine. Could not put down this 28th book in the series. Come on Sienna!!
I really loved the stories of Sienna Nealon...great stuff. This last book has me slightly pissed. I'm not really into dark worlds or horror stories... just sayin.
