4.5* - the half star is missing because I found that the final scene, where the solution to all their problems is revealed, was rushed. Otherwise a wonderful story of hurt, loosing and finding each other again, love and forgiveness.

WOW. To still be that much in love your ex after that many years. There was a lot of blame to go around in the divorce but it was one that should not have happened. Then to find out that your dad left everything to your ex when he died and now your sister and niece might not have a place to live because your ex now owns the farm she has worked so hard for all her life. He tells you that he will sign everything over to your sister with the condition that you go out on five dates with him. You finally give in but agree to four. As you spend more time with him you realize that you are still in love with him and that you blamed him for something that was no one's fault.
What happens when you both finally say how you really feel and what happened all those years ago? Will you be able to forgive each other? Will you move on with your lives separately or will you give it another chance together again?

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through arc.

Nikki knew Bryan when she was a lot younger he worked for her father.
All these years later he shows up at her house wanting to speak to her.
Her sister and niece came there too wanting to find out about the funeral arrangements. Bryan has some news to tell Nikki but she was so angry at her ex husband she really didn’t what to hear what he had to say. Dinner was a disaster Nikki didn’t want to be in his presence. He then told her that he wanted 5 dates with Nikki and he will sign the ranch over to her sister. Bryan wanted to win back Nikki and whatever it took. Every time Nikki was around Bryan she felt angry. She couldn’t figure him out nor did she want to go down that road. Too many old wounds would open up but he wanted to talk about it. Twists and turns with some surprises.

The story features Bryan and Nikki. A marriage gone wrong because of assumptions and miscommunications. This is a sexy second chance romance that will have you longing for your own cowboy. He's determined to win her back…VERY DETERMINED! What a lucky woman she is to have a man love her so much that after being divorced 10 years he still wants her just as much as in the beginning.

This is a fantasy-inspiring story with fabulous well developed characters. I absolutely LOVE this author's writing style and I can't wait for more.

This really quick read was okay, but not what I’d expected from Summer Cooper. The entire idea of this book still doesn’t make sense to me. A divorced woman forced to go out on dates with her ex so her sister can receive the ranch that should’ve been willed to her & not the ex, was strange. I thought the sister was playing matchmaker but then realized there was a secret or 2. The 1st date ends with sex & regrets. The rest just kissing until the 4th & final date. There secrets are revealed & questions answered but it still didn’t make any sense to me.

Cowboy ex. This was a great read about second chance love. Bryan and Nicolette were once married but because of misunderstandings it ended. Now Nicolette is back for her father's funeral and to help her sister claim their childhood farm. Things get heated and Nicolette and Bryan finally take the time to resolve their issues so they can be together again. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book.
