First Comes Love. Then Comes Marriage. Then it's tour dates, demanding fans, exclusive contracts... Wait a second.
The men of Dangerous Noise have found the women who complete them, but love isn't always enough to make things last. Can Ethan, Kit, Joel, and Mal find happily ever after? Or will the fame, the fortune, and the tour dates prove too trying for marriage and family?
Dangerous Encore is a sequel to the bestselling Dangerous Noise series. It features one happily ever after story for each couple. It is meant to be read after book four, Dangerous Fling. It is not a standalone.
Crystal Kaswell is the author of the Sinful Serenade series. She writes steamy new adult romance with flawed characters. She loves police procedurals, tea, and The Hunger Games series. She lives in Portland, OR with her husband.
I love when the story continues after a good series ends & Crystal Kaswell delivers just that with Dangerous Encore. She brings back the men of Dangerous Noise, a great rock band & the women who have captured their attention & hearts. Ethan & Violet rush to plan a wedding during one of the band's tour breaks. But Violet still struggles with not feeling like she is good enough for family's approval. Ethan uses his magical prowess to show her she is & she finally feels strong enough to confront her mom. What Violet learns is that her parents are not what she always thought. Joel & Bella are doing really well after getting married with only knowing each other for six hours. Bella is determined to make it through Thanksgiving weekend without telling Joel she thinks she maybe pregnant. Joel senses something is wrong & he reassures her they can do anything together. Mal & Lacey become engaged & Lacy is torn about asking her mother to be at her wedding. Lacey has spent so much of her life being manipulated by her mom that she is leary of having her involved. With Mal's help, Lacey realizes she has a great family around her with the band mates & their loves. Kit & Piper have planned to marry after Piper graduates from college but when the time draws near, Kit doubts himself & his sobriety. Piper is truly confused by his reaction when she finally asks Kit if they're going to get married. When Kit asks a fellow sober acquaintance for help he is able to see that everything is going to work out the way it is suppose to.
Again, I love it when an author gives me a look at how their characters are doing after the series is complete. I get caught up in my stories & feel like I've gotten to know the characters I'm reading about. It makes me happy when I get to revisit them with new material. Thanks Ms. Kaswell for letting me get another glimpse of the Dangerous Noise band & their partners. This book is meant for mature readers only.

Violet and Ethan are planning their wedding happy to finally be getting married and although she thinks that her parents were unhappy with her untraditional wedding but both end up supportive and happy with her. Joel and Bella discover they are expecting and Bella is promoted at work. Bella isn’t sure how she feels about having a baby at first but decides that she wants to have the baby and take a shot at managing the Dangerous Noise tour schedule. Mal proposes to Lacey and she must make the hard decision of including her manipulative mother in planning her wedding. She meets her parents for a disastrous dinner and makes a hard decision. Luckily her Dangerous Noise family bands together and she and Mal have an amazing wedding. Piper is finally graduating and wants to marry Kit. Kit is hesitant to get married though because he’s worried he’ll cheat like his father or relapse like his mother. He must get over his insecurities so he doesn’t lose Piper forever. This was a cute book and a great epilogue to all the couples in the Dangerous Noise series. It was great to see everyone get a happily ever after and to see characters from Sinful serenade make appearances in the books also.

A great ending for all the couples in this series. I like when there is closure for a series. It give just bit more of without making feeling there event that the reader had missed.
"I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review."
Not her best work. I felt that the ending of some of these needed more creative ways to write it out, it dragged along at a snails pace. I felt like I had more questions and was left hanging. How do you introduce Lacey’s mom and not give her the the ending comeuppance that she deserved?? You just leave it as her and mal leave the house and then.... nothing? Her mom was a decent part of the reason Lacey was the way she was and for it to end like that 2 stars. Not her best work. Glad I didn’t buy this but I do appreciate her attempt to squeeze in another dangerous noise book.
I chose this rating because this was a really great book. The characters were amazing. I love everyone of them. I am so happy that Ethan and Vi finally got married. I didn't like that she got so stressed out about what her family was going to think of her wedding and her husband being away a lot. I was happy that she had a talk with her mom, to get an understanding. Things turned out great for them. I love Joel and Bella story. Now the way they got married was very unusual, but they feel so in love. Well here we go Bella isn't feeling well. She's throwing up, feel in sick. She finds out she's pregnant. So her and Joel have a talk. Joel was there all the way for his wife. I really liked her boss Alessandra I was happy that her boss let her balance out her schedule. Anyway she told everyone and they were happy for them. Mal and Lacey was just like the other couples loving happy in love. There was one thing there I was just really not happy about the way Lacey's mom always talked about her that's why they were separated for that long period of time she talk about her body shape, her legs her, boobs, and her makeup. I don't think that was very nice. That's not what a real mom does a real mom would lift her daughter up. That's what a parent does. I really loved the way Lacey let her mom know she was doing she told her a piece of her mind. Mal got his woman out of there. They plan their wedding, got married and mom wasn't not even invited. Kit and Piper, they ran into a little obstacle with Kit. He had those demons coming back up. Telling him that he wasn't good enough for Piper. Thinking maybe he was gonna turn out like his parents. Become an alcoholics. And the thing is that he was afraid to tell Piper and that was not good. So she was thinking that he didn't want to marry her. But Pipers friend and sister-in-law let her know that she didn't believe that was the case. That maybe Kit had a few issues to work out. That she needed understand what he went through trying to get rid of his addiction. Also that he will eventually let her know what was going on in his mind. He did. They flew to a nice secluded beach and they got married. They had a beautiful, lovely, and sexy honeymoon. I really enjoyed this Dangerous Noise Encore. This was a really great read. I recommend this book to all romance readers. You will need to read the first four books of the dangerous noise band mates.
I always love these types of books for series that I fall in love with. I never want them to end and definitely enjoy seeing what happened after the last book. This "encore" has a short story for all the couples from the Dangerous Noise series.
Vi and Ethan finally get married and she realizes that she doesn't have to change who she is in order for the people who truly matter to love her. Ethan realizes how much she truly needs him, even if only just someone to talk to. And the way her wedding dress is described? LOVE IT!!
Joel and Bella have not only managed to make their marriage survive the way it came about but it thrives! Then comes the unexpected. Neither planned on this surprise but once they both get past the shock, they realize how much they not only want the changes that come but how much they truly do love and need each other. Beautiful story!
Mal and Lacey have definitely worked through the issues from their book and are moving ahead with their lives. Reading about Lacey and her parents makes you understand her so much better, and understand how her and Mal are perfect for each other. I love how much he has changed and yet his core strength is still the same!
Kit and Piper are the two that worried me the most after reading the previous stories. I was truly thinking they were going to split up and my HEA was going to be ruined! And then you see exactly what thoughts are going through his head and realize how much addiction can harm you even when you are clean. Once they both work through all the things in BOTH of their heads their story becomes even more beautiful than before!
Loved every bit of this book! I'm sorry to see this series end but I can't wait to see what else this author has in store for us!

Ugh!!! It took me a week to fall in love with these rockstars.
Ethan and Violet. I already have a love for them. Childhood lovers that fell apart only to come back together and find the love they have for each other. The way there wedding was described was beautiful. The goth and the rocker.
Joel and Bella. The nerd and the rocker. I have no word for them other than I love seeing the change in Joel. Bella literally brought out the best in him. The way there story was told with a baby on the way was exciting.
Mal and Lacey. I was happy to see that Mal found his other half. Lacey complements him in ways that no other could. Mal gets Lacey to feel the way she should. He makes her feel whole and beautiful and wanted.
Kit and Piper. These two were by far my favorite couple. It’s something about the brooding artist and the bubbly girl. I understood where Kit’s doubt came from. His sobriety meaning the world to him, but feeling like he’s destined to relapse is hanging over him. Piper is the bright light for both of them. I felt her pain in whether or not she would actually get married. But these two ended up where they were supposed to.
I can’t wait to read more from her. She’s amazing!
Dangerous Encore is a point in time snapshot of the members of Dangerous Noise and the woman that love them. The band is just coming off a tour and taking a much needed break, knowing another round of tour dates starts in just over a week. There are ten days for one couple to get married, one to learn and accept an unexpected twist in their future, another with an individual facing down the past and their family with support of their partner, and finally one to start making firm plans for their future. All in all it is a quick read. There's much going on in all their lives, each couple is at a bit of a cross-roads and we get a view of each couple reconnecting and making plans for the future.
I had only read 2 of the 4 of the series, Dangerous Rock and Dangerous Fling: A Rock Star Romance, but I had no problem understanding and relating to the other couples, as Kaswell always gives us a good view of the band mates and their relationships. Every individual have interesting backstories and Kaswell spends just the right amount of time filling in some details, looking at individual fears and hopes. The love between these couples is palpable and their reunions are scorching.
If you've read the series I think this is a must read. Although I didn't have any issues with not having read the entire series, I would recommend it. But again it didn't stop me from enjoying the book very much and finding this a 5 stars read.
Ethan and Violet Violet and Ethan are finally getting married but nerves are not far off. Violet stresses about every little detail trying to strive for perfection for everyone but herself. She's too cute for her own good sometimes.
Joel and Bella So I wasn't expecting the pregnancy scare for these too! I think I pictured that a more Ethan and Violet thing. Joel surprises you time and time again. He steps up even more in this that just makes you say awwwwww!
Mal and Lacey Gah I forgot how intense Mal could be. He's like just look at you and melts your underwear off hot! Yet he's sweet when it comes to Lacey. 'Lacey is my angel, my best friend, my salvation.' Swooning over here!
Kit and Piper So with Piper being the sister to Mal and Ethan, I always feel like more is expected from Kit. He's intense but caves for Piper no matter how tough life is throwing curve balls. 'Losing Piper… that's not a possibility I can consider.' He would do anything for her and it's the perfect ending!
I'm so glad I got to read this extra parts to each couples relationship! I always feel like I'm one of the family members!
he gang is all back and we get to see how things played out for them: VIOLET AND ETHAN: Girl is not afraid to tell her man what she wants, "Ethan." I tug at his suit jacket. "*** now. Food later." Ethan and Violet really complimented each other well. JOEL and BELLA: Joel sometimes needs to backtrack what he says, "your t***s look amazing. But you look tired. Sick." Joel was so supportive of his girl. MAL AND LACEY: Lacey doesn't let anything in her way, "these shoes—my only nice pair of shoes —are not made for walks on the beach. Or make out sessions on the beach. Or effs on the beach. But I'm not letting that stop me." Mal was my favorite man out of the series I loved seeing what he and Lacey were up too. KIT AND PIPER: Kit just gets his woman, "Kit squeezes my hand. "Go, baby. I understand your true love is sugar." I loved reading all about these guys again, seeing what they were doing.
"I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this manuscript" The perfect epilogue to the perfect series!!!!! In one awesome book, Crystal Kaswell gives us the happy ever after of all the members of the group: Joel, Ethan, Mal and Kit!!!! Well written, funny, witty, sweet and swoon worthy, it's an addictive read with a little twist to the heart! A wonderful end thanks to the romantic closure of each story but that fills you up with a bittersweet feeling of loss, as we say goodbye to those amazing characters who left us breathless for a while... Without any doubt, "Dangerous Encore" finalizes what is another masterpiece of rockstar romance from a very talented author! Recommended, as part of the series of course, to all rockstar or simply romance lovers with a Two Thumbs Up High In The Air With Blazing Lighters On!!!!!!
I loved the Dangerous Noise series and this book is four extended epilogues that bring closure to the stories. There is Ethan and Violet as they finally get married and how that works out. Joel and Bella seem to do everything quickly so what will happen to them when they are expecting the unexpected. Mal and Lacey have decided to give it a go at the end of their book. What will happen if they decide to make it a permanent relationship with Lacey's family dynamic. Then there is Kit and Piper who have lived together all through Piper's college education. Will they make it a forever situation or will Kit's insecurities on staying clean and sober get in the way? I loved this book and how it give you additional insight into all the characters.

I became a Crystal Kaswell fan before the end of the first chapter in The Sinful Serenade Series! I love how she has one band, and when she wraps up their stories, she leads us to another. Rock Star Romances are the best! I loved every character in the Dangerous Noise Series. I love all of their differences. I love the way those bring them all together. They really are like a family in itself. Every time I finish a book, I pray for an epilogue at the end to see how the couple has ended up. With this book, you get to see exactly that. Only, it's not just a bit, it's another tiny book! I love that! This wrapped them up, and introduced us to our next Rock Star's. Great writing, brings out emotions, and doesn't disappoint. Another great job done by Crystal Kaswell!!!
4 stars This is a sequel to the Dangerous Noise series. You must read books 1-4 first. This is a nice check in on all the couples. Ethan and Violet’s wedding planning and wedding day. It sounds beautiful in its goth way and so, so Violet. Joel and Bella get pregnant. Not planned. Still, considering Joel’s former ways, it’s a shock but also sweet to see how he steps up. Mal and Lacey. Still Mal. Her mother is just a terrible narcissist and so hurtful. Another beautiful wedding. Kit and Piper. The first we’ve seen Piper with any doubts about the future. She’s ready for a wedding. He’s full of doubt, not about forever with her. About his sobriety forever and how he could bring her down if he falls out of sobriety. Still, another beautiful wedding. It was a nice farewell to the series.

I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review: Dangerous Encore is like going home again, it's familiar but at the same time there are new things going on. This was book was vastly entertaining, you get to see each individual couple living life after their story ended. I liked seeing that because typically in romance novels when the story ends , you know that they lived Happily Ever After but with Dangerous Encore you can see the everyday problems, like kids or no kids, balancing busy careers and schedules to fighting inner demons. I liked visiting with Ethan/ Violet, Joel/ Bella, Mal/ Lacey and Kit/ Piper, its very nice conclusion to great series. I'm dying to get my hands on Logan's book, he totally intrigues me..

If I could do a half star, I would have given it a half star, raising it up to a 4.5 rather than just a 4. I really liked the stories and catching up with all of the characters of Dangerous Noise and how they are doing further down the line after the original stories were played out.
I did not like, however that three out of the 4 mini stories all had the same basic plot with various troubles leading up to it. I understand that that was the next logical place for them to go in their relationships, however it seemed like there could have been something other than the obvious that we could have been reading about. I felt that there was way too much obvious and not enough intrigue.
This was a great ending to the Dangerous Noise series. We get a final glance at Ethan/Violet, Joel/Bella, Mal/Lacey, and Kit/Piper. We see them happy, in love and getting a final look at their HEA's. Each couple has a little hurdle to climb over before their story is complete. I loved seeing them overcome each of these hurdles, especially Kit. Kit and Piper's story had me emotionally distressed but I knew it would turn out okay. Joel proved to me that he doesn't always just think about sex. Then there were the Strong brothers. They proved their love and devotion to their women. Thank you for this final look into these couple's lives and happiness. Omg Crystal what an outstanding finale you've given these Dangerous Noise Men and their Women. I adored it & yes it was a FANTASTIC ending not just individually BUT as the whole lot seeing how their lives have moved on & god these Strong Men & Piper if course know how to succumb in turning a wedding over within a matter of days & What a Beautiful 'Other' Surprise for Joel & Bella. Beautiful, heartfelt & horny as hell young, successful couples. I loved reading these Dangerous Noise Men & their very talented wives & I would love to read more about how their lives progress in later years. Do Think About It Ms Crystal Kaswell Please 😘.....
I was satisfied where the full length novels of Dangerous Noise left us, but was also bummed (even though they do seem to be making brief reappearance in the Inked Hearts series). Getting a short what happened after was fun though. I appreciated it wasn't just a bunch of who I wedding scenes, but the characters still were facing troubles as they navigate life (in addition to weddings) - each couples stories were still very different, but the level of family and friendship they have built still could be felt throughout. Excited to see them again (even if briefly) in the next series and also excited to see what Logan's story will end up being.
Ahhh... Yes, that was just what the doctor ordered! This compilation of novellas about the paired off rock gods and what they go through to get their HEA's is the icing on the Dangerous Noise cake! Full of 'cheesy' lines, feels running wild, copious amounts of hotness, friendship family and loves like no other! Oh and of course cake there was lots of that! Like a being surrounded by bubbles in a warm bath with a large glass of wine, this book was a great wrap up to the lives of Ethan and Violet, Joel and Bella, Mal and Lacey, and Kit and Piper as it was to my day! **I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** The final installment to the Dangerous Noise series! Obviously, this is to be read after you read about each member of the group. Fast forward into the futures of the Dangerous men & the women that tame them. Who makes it to the altar & who is in for a surprise baby? Loved each development for the couples, especially Mal's & Kit's. Family/ band banter always on point as well as their support for one another! Also, great tie-ins with Sinful Serenade men (*swoon*) & the added drops of the start up story/ series for Wicked Beat. Can't wait to see additional updates of the Dangerous family in future books. Would recommend! :)
What a great way to end such a wonderful series!!!! From book 1 I fell in love with the guys. Throughout the series we saw the relationships of Violet and Ethan, Kit and Piper, Mal and Lacey, & Joel and Bella. The book has a great way of ending the series but I loved their stories so much I wish it to continue. But alas all good things come to an end. Going into this book I knew that once I started it was going to be bittersweet. I was letting go of awesome characters. Thank you Crystal for letting these guys and girls come to life. I give this book 5 star rating.
This was just the perfect ending to these amazing band members and their soul mates. Ethan, Kit, Joel, and Mal are all taken now, much to the heartbreak of their fans. But do they get their HEAs? Proposals, marriage, babies, what else is in store for the Dangerous Noise family? Loved how each couple was handled differently. They're all pieces of a larger puzzle, which makes each of their stories so unique and special. I've followed this series from the very beginning, and I loved this wrap-up! Fabulously concluded! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Wondering what has happened with the boys since Dangerous Fling? Wonder no more this book gives us 3 weddings, and a baby I loved this little insight into the bands life after book life. Short and sweet each book was a quick read that finished off each couples story.
I've always loved a rocker they hold a special place in my library occupying my favourite read shelf. That shelf will soon have another 5 books as the Dangerous Noise books will soon be taking up occupancy adding to my rereads. Looking forward to reading more 4 stars.
So it would be putting it mildly saying I fell in love with every member of Dangerous Noise... Mal in all his caged off intensity. Joel with all his loveable inappropriateness. Ethan with his effortless charm. And last but certainly not last Kit with all his brooding introspection. They each gave me a different ingredient that made the perfect blend that is "Dangerous Noise". I am so happy Crystal Kaswell wanted more time with the characters because I needed more time with the characters too! Dangerous Encore was the perfect ending to the series.
Okay so this was a great book don’t get me wrong... I just didn’t feel like it was needed to finish the series. The four books ended great on their own merits, this was just extra icing on the cake if you loved the first four books. I will say hands down my favorite member of the band is Joel...his perverted personality appeals to me on a personal level. 😊
I’m interested in seeing if this author writes a series for Wicked Beat, cause I need me some Logan and Carrie! Yes I’m calling it now...these two need to be a thing!
I just finished this arc. I loved it! It was perfect to see them all with their own conflicts in their relationships and to read how they overcame it with each other. I loved how all 4 couples had a part in this book. Joel is still my favorite. I love his and Bella's relationship. I also love to read about couples from the other series. I'm pretty sure Logan will be getting A book by how much she wrote about him. Very well written book!
All your favorite Dangerous Noise couples are back and we get to catch up with them. For all you Dangerous Noise fans out there, this book is perfect for those of you who wondered what happened to the couples at the end of their story. Each couple gets their own sweet HEA that will leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling in your heart.
Crystal Kaswell delivers a fun, sweet and steamy story that will pull you in
