I might be a bit biased because the author is a friend of mine. This isn't the type of book I usually read, and I found it pleasant to imagine there could be a custom-made future for us, no matter what our shortcomings. There's probably a little bit of all of us in these characters. It's a hopeful book, though none of us really knows what will happen to us when we die. This theory is as comforting as any.
